Glad to see I'm not the only one with teeth marks on my mouthpiece... everyone else sees them and says, "You have mold on your mouthpiece."

I play the Tenor Sax, three years this January. I'm loving it; probably more than any one else I know that plays the Sax. I'm dating a boner, ya that's right. I believe in the interaction of opposite winds. Just because she's a brass doesn't mean squat to me. No, but I love the tenor. Not the best sax, but it gets the job done.

I play the soprano, alto, tenor, and bari... but i only play the tenor during band... but i do plan to play the other sax's eventually... there's just no one in my band that has one of the others... but tenor and soprano are the best, after all, they have the best sounds and solos.

Amber Kerkove Nia-chan I play alto saxophone in marching band currently. I play tenor saxophone in Jazz band. And I have a metal mouthpiece for each. really? So do i blaugh My fluter has one, my clarinet has one, and so does my sax but i dont think i can put one on my pianop or cello blaugh why the heck do u have a metal mouthpiece for ur clarinet? Me personally, I think that would give it a terrible tone, especially if u didn't know how to use it properly... and no im not saying u dont, but yah...

Silver Eye Snake er...I have an alto, but I don't know how to play it yet (I'll be learning that this year). I've been wanting to play it forever though ^^ Hm...I feel so out of place/stupid. I play alto mostly, but I've also played tenor and soprano, and I've at times played bari (like twice). Oh, and I've been playing since 8th grade. I'm now in 11th grade, I'm in the marching bandand jazz band at my school.

my band teacher asked me to switch to tenor a week after i bought the alto(i was borrowing one before that)

I used to play the French Horn, but then I switched to the Bari Sax.. I'm not sure which one I like better, but in my school, the Saxophones get the funner parts in our pieces.
