Being run over by a boulder is not fun. Neither was being headbutt by a Sudowoodo. Neither of which were enough to keep the young trainer down, whom just managed to get back up. Letting out a breath, he continued forward, trying to be more vigilant.
This time as Alex was passing by, he would see a familiar shape roll by him. It was the Geodude from earlier! Was he walking in circles possibly? Or getting lost? Either way, he could continue moving forward.
As he traveled, he saw another geodude. Or was it the same geodude...? Was it following him? either way, Alex figured he as getting close to his destination and decided to just keep pushing.

What with the Mudkip's squirming, the Sandile would be forced to release his 'opponent' before it could hear the snap of bone. A little further and the Water-type would have flinched. As it was the Sandile would turn sharply, attempting to trip the amphibian with a sweep of his tail!

">Oh my stars and garters!<" A small voice like a silver bell would chime ">Why I do declare Miss Human, you have the look of something the Meowth dragged in!<" Floating down from above, Jin-Hua would soon find herself face to face with a Chingling, the strings at it's backside tied into a neat little bow. ">Why don't we have some tea on the veranda and see if we cannot do something about this dreadful hair of yours. How do you feel about bows?<" The Pokemon chimed, tilting her head, and hence her entire body a bit as she looked at Jin-Hua curiously.
Well, that was undiginified. Alistair had literally gotten knocked over by the wind. If any of his siblings had seen... but he was alone, save for Lucy who was currently fussing over him. He calmed the agitated rodent with an ear scratch, and deciding he could probably take more punishment, left for deeper into the forest.

Jin-Hua was a bit startled upon seeing the Pokemon. But it's demeanor wasn't angry or evil, it seemed almost (dare she say it) nice?! That in mind, while hesitating slightly, she would smile and nod politely. The Pokemon was chattering along like it was talking even if she couldn't actually understand Pokemon.

Once again, the boat reached the island, and once again, Alexander was glad to be on semi-solid ground again. He was used to traveling, but he was more used to his transportation being stable."Maybe it's just another way to thin out students..."the boy quietly mused as he looked around to see where he ended up this time around. He actually wasn't quite sure which of the three areas would be worst for him anymore, given what he had at the moment.
As Alistair was nearing the edge of the forest, the fog would deepen and the area would seem to get darker. A cloaked figure was half hidden by a nearby tree. The boy wouldn't be able to tell what exactly was under the cloak because the hood covered his head and the cloak covered his entire body. A deep voice would greet the boy in words he could understand perfectly.
"Stop! Who would cross the Forest of Death must answer me these questions three, ere the other side he see.
What....is your name?
What....is your quest?
What.....is the air-speed velocity of an unladen Swellow?"

It was about that moment the Chingling would spontaneously explode, a spooky chuckle and an odd wordless song echoing from a short distance away. Apparently some didn't want others to play nice.
Now a few things I need to point out. One. Next time you need to wait for a mod to provide you with transportation to the Island. The Pokemon center and the docks in which students go to leave are separate. Two. Your character shouldn't know there are three areas to the island, please remember to keep in character knowledge and out of character knowledge separate.
Restless Volcano
A strange rocky land that always seems to be hot, no matter the time of day. The ground occasionally churns beneath the feet of any poor traveler who happens upon these shores. Keep an eye out whenever you take a step—you’re likely to take a fall down a particularly jagged rock slide, and you might not like what you find at the bottom. Still, as any good adventurer knows, it’s the roughest paths that brings the most rewards!... Sometimes. In the very least, it’s where you are now, so suck it up, roll up your pants, and try to avoid any lava.

Alexander frowned a bit as he took in the place he had been brought to this time. It didn't seem he would have to worry about getting stuck in the mud during this trek, but instead high temperatures would be his concern."First a bog, then a field with a huge storm, and now a volcano? Great..."the boy groaned as he started to walk. Granted, it wasn't the different kind of areas within the island that was making him feel less certain about succeeding in his mission, at least not on their own. If it hadn't been for what his mission was, he would have loved to see what other kinds of terrains might be on the island, just to see if there were any nice places to relax. But he still had to find some sort of evolution-inducing rock somewhere on this island, and as big as it might of seemed just from the sea, each new type of area the boy encountered made the entire island seem larger. Finding one rock in such a large area... The phrase "needle in a haystack" came to the boy's mind as he tried to keep on what passed for a path in the area.

{{OoC: Ah, my apologies. >_< I had recalled (potentially incorrectly) seeing a few people go back without waiting for a mod after their first failed attempt and had assumed it was alright. It seems that, for one reason or another, I was mistaken. Likewise, I had sort of assumed that, at least visually, there were three (or more or less) spots/areas that could be seen while on the boat heading over that looked like viable spots/areas for being brought ashore, or at least that, again, visually, it could be noticed that the island hosts multiple different environment types and, therefore, different potential landing spots. Again, though, it seems I mis-assumed some aspect of that through one means or another, and again, I apologize. o n o}}

How long had he been on this island? Good lord, hopefully he wouldn't be here at night. Who knew what kind of nonsense resided in these forests?
And just as Alistair though that, so appeared some of that nonsense. It was either a very small person, or a talking Pokemon. Both were questionable in and of themselves... as were the questions the figure was asking. For a second, Alistair glared at the figure suspiciously. Had he been put up to this by Genovese? Was he doomed to answer weird trivia questions for the rest of his time at Akumu? With a sigh, he nodded at the figure, shutting this eyes. "My name is Alistair Blackwell. My quest is..." He trailed off. Eh, why not. "To become strong. And..." Alistair hesitated, mind doing several calculations. Something didn't quite add up. "Excuse me, do you mean a Swellow from Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, or Kalos?" This questioner needed to clarify his terminology.

Hiro and Fluke was both caught a bit off guard as the pokemon charged. They creature went from dance mode to attack mode in an instant, and neither of the duo was ready as the Baltoy did Rapid Spin.
Fluke would dig down at that moment. Sticking his legs into the ground as he tries her best to not let the attack do anything more than bounce off of him. He would turn the shell/stone on his back so that that was what the Baltoy would hit.
No matter how this came out, this was an attack that promise to do some sort of damage.
In the Garden of Monsters
(Sorry to hear that, I hope everything has gotten better)
As Alistair answered, if he could see beneath the hood, he would've seen the creature's eye twitch. "What? I don't know thaattttttt?!" he suddenly screamed. Out of nowhere, a large Swellow appeared to grab the back of the creature's cloak and the hood fell back to reveal it had been a Nuzleaf quizzing him all along! As he was carried upward, a berry would fall from his cloak into Alistair's hands. What kind of berry? Well the boy would have to look closely to figure that one out! Both Swellow and Nuzleaf were long gone, having disappeared somewhere amongst the forest skies~
