Lance perked a bit, "your mothers are breaking in? dear, oh dear, that can't be pleasent." he looked at Daren and for a moment there was concern in his eyes before he smiled and it disappeared, "that must be awkward. how many times have they caught you naked?"

Daren flushed and picked his knife and fork back up, "more times than i wish to remember." he shook his head and took another bite. "even if we get a new lock, they'll just break that one too. we'll have to get them a key and deal with it."

Lance snorted, "have they tried to spank him yet? film it for me if they do. this guy's a succer for moms, he can't fight back, so he'll just lay there and take it. should prove quite amusing."

Daren had been taking a drink when Tim said his mother sloved him. the water went down the wrong tube and he had to cough into his napkin, lance patting his back to help him get it out. "oh yeah," he said sarcastically, "they love me."

Lance shook his head and signaled for the waiter, "sorry about your glass. usually my having meals with others means it's a business meeting and they have been trained to only come when summoned, lest they hear something they shouldn't."

"They are testing him for whether or not he is trustworthy?" Lance asked in disbelief, "Him? Daren Aomine, the man who can walk on water as far as most of the city's residents are concerned? good lord, what kind of women are your mothers? i'm frightened to meet them! trustworthy indeed," he huffed, shaking his head as he took a drink.

Daren shook his head, "it's not like that. they are trusting me with their precious son, they have every right to test me." he was flushed at what Lance had said about him, "and the majority of the people don't think i can walk on water, i bet most of the people here in this resturant don't know who i am, let alone people in the city. they may know my name, but not my face."

"Ever After," Daren supplied without thinking. "didn't work too well for Da Vinci, did it? well-at least not until he was startled."

Lance snorted, covering his mouth as he tried to not laugh out loud, "Wow Daren, didn't think you the chick flick type." his smile widened as Daren blushed, "i learn more and more about you every day."

Daren rolled his eyes, "shut up, Lance. it's a good movie."

Lance grinned, "anything with a hot main actor. the prince in that movie was alright, but he wasn't sexy. if i take time to watch a movie, i'd like to be watching eye candy. like Avengers. I had to change my pants after watching that one."

Daren shook his head, though he had to agree. the men in that movie were easy on the eyes. "he's a shallow being, isn't he? easy to please, though."

Lance shrugged, "goo food, hot men and good sex. that's all i need." he saluted with his drink and finished his meal, full even though he'd only finished about half. "please tell me you two are having dessert."

Daren nodded, "I won dinner finding the keys." Lance looked at him curiously and he smirked, "we lost the keys, i found them. therefore we get dessert."

Lance shook his head, "child." but he said it lovingly.

Daren took one more bite and sat back, not quite full, but he was saving room for the creme brulee. "that just means i see the world through different eyes. not a bad thing, right Tim?"

Lance nodded, "of course we do, we also have tarts, which are like pies." he motioned to the waiter and ordered a dessert menu. the man bowed before hurrying to get it and Lance turned back, "we also have many varieties of pies, here we are." the menu was brought and he thanked the man. "we have some delicious cakes, as well as italian doughnuts, gelatio, ice creams, whatever you can imagine."

"You know what I want, Lance." he smiled and looked at Tim, "the tarts are delicious. i've tried it before."
