Sonyo walked through the gates and through the rift that made the natural protection against any attackers. She remembered her first time here, the Hatake attacking Liz, how scared she was. Things had changed a lot since she had come to the Village Hidden in the Sand, and she had changed too. Exiting the natural formation, she spotted Theo just sitting outside the gates. She smiled brightly and ran up to the man, "Theo-san! Hey! How did the things go with your daughter? What was Konoha like?" Never having been that close to the Land of fire, Sonyo didn't know what Konohagakure or the surrounding land even looked like, though she could dream. Mononoke groaned in protest, crossing her arms across her chest.
"We really should get going, Sonyo. We have things to do and if we take too long, Miyamoto-san will get anxious." Sonyo just waved dismissively at her, this wouldn't take too long. Though she hadn't shown it at the time do to other stressors, she had been worried about the whole situation with Theodin and his young one.

Spotting Knives up high on the wall, Theo nodded to the other jounin, “Hey knives, good to see ya around again.” It was then that he saw Sonyo running up to him. Landing quickly, Theodin chuckled a bit, “Hey there, Sonyo, Things went ok, I guess, Noriko’s back home somewhere in the village.. I’m guessing things didn’t go well between her and Taka in Konoha, but it’ll all work out fine in the end, I’m sure. Sonyo bounced in excitement, clapping her hands. "Oh I'd love for you to come with, Theo-san! It's always a pleasure to be in your company." To Sonyo, Theo felt like an old friend though they hadn't known eachother all that long. Perhaps it was because they had so much in common when it came to their bloodlines and chakra natures? Though she was sure Theodin was born here in Sunagakure, the blood of Yukigakure still flowed through his veins, as it did with every Hyouton user. Theodin couldn’t help but start laughing a bit when Sonyo got all excited and started bouncing and clapping. Rubbing the back of his head inside his cowl, Theo smiled, “Thanks, Sonyo.. yea, let’s hit the road, then… I’ve seen Bast angry.. Sonyo briefly wondered just how scary a kind-looking woman like bast could get, but then she remembered the feeling she had gotten from bast, all the power under her demeanor. She knew that the woman probably had a pretty nasty, and scary, temper. She shook her head and laughed lightly at theo's comment, echoing him. "To takumi!" And with that she set off down the path with Theo.

Sonyo appeared at the gates, and like Mononoke had promised, Bast's workers were there. They began to gather up the supplies and carry them off to Bast's workshop. Sonyo followed them off, a big smile on her face. She was glad to finally be back home, the warmth of the desert sun beating down on her.

After so many, months abroad it was almost a shock seeing the fortress that was his home of Sunagakure again. As always the shinobi stood guard in their lines, their brown armor like gilded trim to the walls. He had learned much in the time with the monks, even been officially recognized as a sage of Nishuu. On the back of his outer kimono, was the five ringed dot over the nine tomoe. Making his way over to one of the guards he returned the bow the man gave with a smile and a bow of his own. When he asked if Sonyo had returned the guard told him that she was last seen heading towards Basts place. Thanking the man again he placed his hand on the palm of his katana and disappeared in a whirl of sand.

An enormous wolf was trotting through the sands of the wind country. Following a faint scent as if her entire purpose in life depended upon finding the source. Every once in a while this massive wolf would let out a whine as the scent got stronger and stronger. The closer she got to the source the faster and more urgent her movements were. As she saw what appeared to be a village in the distance she could no longer contain herself. The wolf moved as if she were a star falling from a sky. She knew that her journey was going to end in this journey she just knew it. That was until she saw dozens of guards around the gate to the village. Bracing herself she slid a bit through the sand gazed at all of them. What she saw shocked her just as much as what they saw shocked them. A wolf that was barely smaller than Daichi with fur as white as snow and strange markings upon her fur. She paced back and forth determining what to do as she needed to get into this village but she couldn't fight off all the guards here either. So she was stuck here solving the most important puzzle of her life.

Daichi on the other hand was trained on something completely different he growled at the vast expanse of desert and Ayame turned. Another wolf? Daichi be still. Who are you and what do you want? She asked of the wolf as Daichi kept his ears and tail up.

Yato stilled as a woman an a wolf far larger than even herself appeared in the area. Yet even as she was questioned and the other wolf growled in response she showed no fear. Nor did she show any aggressive behavior either.She sniffed the ground some more and took a step towards the scent. Her eyes shifted back to the woman and the wolf beside her. Yato's eyes widened only slightly as she smelled the same scent on the both of them. It was faint but they were with the source of the scent not too long ago. A day? Maybe two? As thoughts raced through her mind she looked back to the woman as she couldn't talk. She knew what the human was saying but Yato wasn't experience enough to talk like some animals could. She didn't know what was going to happen. Whether or not they would kill her right here and now. But she couldn't stop in her journey. Not when she was so close to finally finishing it after all of these years...
