Looking around,"Xi, I'm not sure...the only thing I can think of is that Runa must be in trouble. I knew that clerk at the Inn was up to something but I couldn't put my finger on it." sighing.."Can you come with me just incase something bad is happening?" she asked.

"Alright, I will go with you," he replied as he looked at her."What am I going to get into this time?", he thought to himself. Perfecting his art was his life, and he only hoped this would lead him to further his training.

Hearing that Xi would come along, Takara looked down the alley to see if it would be quicker or not, "Do you think this way would be faster or should we just stay on the main road?"

"Main road," Xi' told her, as he quickly glanced down the alley. He'd seen enough of those the past few days. Raising his arm up, he rested the butt of his staff on the ground. "Lead the way, Takara," he said, trying to ready himself for anything that might happen.

"Alrighty Xi, lets get going for I still need to get back here before the blacksmith leaves for the day." she said smiling as she turned around and headed back to the Inn.

Xi' nodded and began to follow a few feet behind her. He wasn't sure which inn she was talking about. Wondering what she needed a blacksmith for, he decided to ask her as they walked, "Blacksmith?"

"Yes Xi, Runa and I are here to see a blacksmith. To tell you the truth I'm not exactly sure why all I know is that we had to get a couple of items to help parth out." she stated as she continued walking down the road. Then seeing the building where she had left Runa at. She stopped right in front of it....pausing for a brief moment she realized that something indeed was wrong. "Xi, I dont think Runa is in the room anymore."

"Xi, I dont think Runa is in the room anymore." "It's only morning, the blacksmith will be open until dusk. However, you were going in the wrong direction to begin with," Xi' told Takara, then he paused for a moment before continuing, "Who gave you directions?" He asked this in a suspicious manner. "Where do you think Runa could be?," he asked calmly.

I strained against the ropes, tied to a pole and I flinched feeling them cut into my skin. I had to get to my dagger. I finally stopped almost there I looked out of the corner of my eyes to my hands they were bloody now and so was the rope. I strained harder ignoring the pain in my wrists and was able to touch my dagger. I smiled and continued poking it almost grasping it, until the dagger fell to the floor. I sighed now I had to reach even further for it. I closed my eyes and tilted my head back, and opened my eyes looking at the ceiling. I felt tears building up but they didn't come. Oh Kang....I wish you were here....or Takara....or anyone....I wish I knew if you were alright.... still alive even....", I looked down and then strained once more to try to reach my dagger.

"I mean someone mislead you into thinking the blacksmith was that way, he's not. Now who told you?," Xi' asked a little more sternly this time around.

"The clerk at the Inn where Runa and I were staying." she quickly answered..."Oh no, it was a trap wasnt it?...I knew he was up to no good the way he kept staring and smiling at us."

"Let's go inside and see if he is still there," Xi' suggested, figuring if it was a trap, the fake clerk would be gone by now and someone that actually worked there would be. He turned to the door and then looked at Takara, waiting to see what she would do.

As I went into the building, I quickly glanced around and not seeing anyone around. Walking up to the counter I rang the bell for service. Waiting impatiently, I rang it again...thats when this older man came out.
"Sir ma'am how can I help you?" he asked.."Are you ok ma'am?"
For the look upon my face must of told them something was indeed wrong..."Ahh, where is the other clerk that was here earlier?" I asked.
"Excuse ma'am, but I'm the only one that works here, do you need a room?" he asked.
Turning around, I quickly said to Xi, "That cant be, Xi.....I know this is the Inn we stayed at, see here's the key." taking the key out of my pocket and handing it to him.
