Amnity rubbed her eyes a bit, then read that message. She sighed, knowing that this day will come. "...I suppose that means we'll...We'll have to avoid seeing Circe, Asmo, Wolf, Julian, and Damian...Otherwise, we're going t have to..." She couldn't finished her sentence, she just sighed again and closed her eyes.

Mephlius sat back down in the chair. They can't just say 'them' can they. They always have to call us a 'murderous beast'. He was more concerned with the direct insult than the new orders. He raised a fist to slam it on the table, then put it back at his side and shook his head no. He sighed, and stared at the ground.
((Idk why, but I'm going to reveal part of the plan I was going to reveal on the 15th. On the 15th, I'm going on spring vacation, and won't be able to be on my computer. The reason I'm using to explain why Mephlius will be gone is...
a secret. twisted ))

((I hate cliffhangers...))
Amnity shook her head as she read the order over and over again. What could she do? She has to obey it. It would be better if she had no friends at all then to have to fight the people she cared about. It's best to avoid them... She sat up, wincing a bit as the pain shot through her system. She brought her legs to the side of the stretcher and held the IV to keep herself steady. Amnity slowly staggered next to Mephlius and leaned against the wall.

He looked up at her, and smiled. She was one of three people that could convince him he wasn't a murderous beast. She was the only one who could do it without saying anything.

Amnity saw him smile and couldn't help but smile back. The uncomfortable fabric of the hospital robe rubbed against her skin as she bent forward and kissed him on the cheek. She straightened her back again, saying nothing, and continued to smile.

Wowmonkey ((1 of the 3?)) Amnity saw him smile and couldn't help but smile back. The uncomfortable fabric of the hospital robe rubbed against her skin as she bent forward and kissed him on the cheek. She straightened her back again, saying nothing, and continued to smile.
He stood up, bringing his IV with him, and leaned against the wall, next to her. He paused a second, then turned quickly, and kissed her back on the cheek.

Amnity blushed. She opened her mouth to say something, suddenly, she heard familiar footsteps heading up the hall. "Crap! It's Dr.Gail!" Holding her IV encase she needed to bolt, she turned to Mephlius. "I don't want you to leave yet...Think of an excuse!"

Mephlius thought for a second, then smiled. "I have just the idea... Quick, get back in the bed." He led her over to the stretcher, then sat down in the chair by the stretcher. He held her hand with both of his, and waited for Dr. Gail to come in.

Amnity hopped back on the stretcher, which wasn't a good idea because it hurt like hell. Stifling the pain, she closed her eyes and pretended to still be asleep. Hearing Gail enter the room, she wondered about what Mephlius was planning...
"What are you doing out of the recovery room?! You need as much rest as she does!" The doctor fumed, how hard could it possibly be to sit still and sleep?

He turned to face Gail, but didn't let go of Amnity's hand. He had an incredibly depressed facial expression on his face."Please, Dr. Gail... I'm only here for her health. I know that if I wasn't here, she would have had just as much trouble sleeping as before I got here. And I know about her heart condition... if she hadn't known that I was okay, her blood pressure would be more erratic than it is. And if I didn't know she was okay... who knows what would happen to me? You have to let me stay... for her sake..." He paused a second, then said very lightly. "Please..." Without stopping his depressed facial expression, he thought. Nailed it!

Oh wow... His sadness was so convincing, she wanted to just sit up and hug him. But she managed to just laid there, motionless with her eyes closed, fearing that if she talked, it might ruin the act.
Dr. Gail looked at his sad face and gave a quick nod. "A-alright...Take as much time as you need." with that, she exited the room, leaving the couple in peace.
Amnity waited for a few seconds, then opened one of her eyes to see if Gail had really left. She then sat up, not letting go of Mephlius' hand. "Amazing!...Did you go to an acting school or something?"

He waited until the door was closed, paused 10 seconds, then turned to Am, and smiled. "No, but I did do some community work in my teens."
