Vincent watched Alpha walk away, staring after him with solemn, spiteful eyes. But here was Kate... and her infection.
Now that Kate was no longer in any immediate danger, Vincent dropped to his knees and caressed her chin. Then he retrieved a small knife from his belt. Slowly, the knife was lowered towards Sheo's neck.

Seeing that Lulu would be able to keep Travis there, Natsumi let go of him and put away the bandages and antiseptic. Then she walked over to her Gear and picked it up.

Vincent didn't move his head, but maneuvered his eyes to stare at the arm attached to the hand grabbing his own arm. "I'm killing a demon. You want to be next?"
Sheo-thing did not move, although the dark blue color seemed to be fading somewhat from her skin.

Natsumi looked over at Travis then at the others. "We have to go to the lead-lined house. That should keep him from being controlled," she said after she remembered what Travis said about lead.
