"Well," Monoe said, "my step-cousin-once-removed isn't that nice. One time, my favorite stuffed toy I was paying with went into his yard, and he said I had to pay him tons of money to get it back. I still haven't paid it off..."

Ecchymos looked displeased.
"That isn't very nice at all."
Then he smiled.
"Let me see the Necronomicon, please?"
Ecchymos flipped through it until he found what he was looking for. He turned to Monoe.
"How much more do you owe him?"

"He says I violated space-time property, and thhat I'm lucky he didn't shred it up."

Heratik let out a loud scream as he fell to his knees. He held his head as large sickle like projections stabbed out of his back ((His demon's legs)). However, he did not complete the transformation. His claws extended to about a foot long and a barbed tail tail grew from the base of his spine. Random parts of his body began to twitch violently.
"yOu mAgGoTS...yOu dOn't KNow wHaT yOU'Ve dONe.."
He strengthened his fear aura, almost to the point that people in other rooms could feel it.

Ecchymos didn't really know what to say to that. He looked down at the page and began reading again.

Rufus handed the gun back to the girl. "How much for the gun and bullets?" He took another breath of tobacco smoke in.

Heratik's transformation had given all teh Mini-Wadsworths enough time to coalesce into one being again. Wadsworth giggled.
"Dissonant vibrations, interrupting the thought process of organic beings, presumably creating paralyzing fear."
The giggling grew louder.
"Well, that's not gonna work on me, sorry."

Ecchymos closed the Necronomicon and pulled another book from his myriad pockets. He looked something up, then put both books in his pockets.
"I'll be right back."
He babbled an incantation and disappeared, leaving a puff of greasy smoke behind him.

Monoe looked around, and, confused, went outside to look for Vhozd.
"Vhozd?"

Vhozd was sitting on the ground, next to the door. He tapped Monoe on her shoulder.

She went and sat next to him.
"I wish I could leave, even if only for a second... ah well."

Vhozd patted Monoe on the back. After a minute or two, Ecchymos arrived back from his castle, holding a large, bulging cloth sack. He looked around before calling Monoe's name.
