Lydia looked around at everyone. Why were they all looking at her? Didn't they understand that she wanted to be left alone? Attention was never good. And now her crystallis wasn't talking to her! This couldn't be good.
Lil carefully reached out a hand to Kir and put it carefully on his shoulder. "Kir?" she questioned.

Kir looked over to Lily and then shook his head slowly.
"Alright everyone. Lets' calm down okay?" Amaranth said, seeing Lydia being uncomfortable. Kir was far enough away from her at the moment, "It's been a long day. Maybe we should try to get some rest," She suggested to try and take the heat off Lydia.

Lydia looked at Mana. She had remembered him doing this to her before and she pushed herself away from him.

Kir looked at Lily again and then away. He put his hand over his left eye again and started rubbing. He bitterly moved away from Lydia and sat down on the edge of the bed. He put his face in his hands and tried to think.

Lily let her hand fall from his shoulder. Apparently, he didn't want her help. She stepped back, giving him move and leaned against the wall.

Mana gave Lydia an apologetic look. "I dont want you to be scared. I dont like when people feel those emotions"

Lydia's fear faded a little, and became more caution. This man had had a number of opportunities to hurt her, and he didn't. She again wondered why these people kept her with them.

Kir sat still on the bed.
Amaranth sighed and tried yet again, "Why don't we all just get some rest. I know some of us must be exhausted," She said.

Lily nodded in agreement with Amaranth. "That would be a good idea." For those of us who sleep, she finished to herself.

Amaranth looked to Lydia, "You can sleep on one of the beds of you want," She said, offering the bed Kir is not sitting on.

Lydia looked around at everyone and just pushed herself into a corner. She felt better there than on a bed. She still didn't know if she should trust these people.

Amaranth nodded a little. She understood why Lydia was acting like that. She took a blanket from the bed and placed it on the floor in front of Lydia, "Do you want me to cover you up? You'll be warmer in that," She said kindly.
