"You tell me." She said as she lifted her shirt to show Khana the active bit. She put the bit from Luke next to it. There wasn't even a hint of the virus in the fresh bite and both were the same depth. Angry black lines were kept in check but still spread slightly from the bite. "We have our answer. You can't spread the virus." She directed to Luke. "The syrum holds the cure."

Luke nodded, but he still didn't like the fact that the blood had tasted good. He wasn't about to go crazy for more, it wasn't like that, but there was obviously some zombie instinctive nature left in him, or something. He wasn't exactly sure. "Yes, it's a good thing that it doesn't show any signs of it, because even if it doesn't spread, it might just be because you were already infected."

Kimmi shook her head. "I'm only infected where the black lines reach. No other area or drop of my blood holds the infection or I'd be undead by now. I think Kay's blood made a sort of barrier that cleanses it as it goes through." She shrugged. "Only way I can explain it."

Finished with one cigarette she lit another one. Come onsssss... Just a little red sssstuff... It callsssss to usssss... Jussssst a little... Kay cleared her throat and turned slightly so that she couldn't see the blood. "So is that all?" she asked, keeping her voice level.

"For now." Kimmi muttered as she let her shirt drop and quickly bandaged her arm. She stood up and brushed herself off. "Well at least we know we have a chance now." She said as she watched Kay closely.

Kay stomped out her cigarettes under her boot and fake a yawn as she stretched. "Good... I'm plum tired out after the all the adventure you've gotten me into tonight." she rolled her neck to buy time as she made sure the thing was under control before she turned back to face Pinky and the others. "I've still got a nice little expanding foam bomb to set of in the morning too... So I think it's off to the cots with the lot of you."

Khana looked at Kimmi's stomach and could see the signs left from the bite that had started to infect her before, and the one from Luke that looked normal. She didn't say anything though, only looked back at Kay and listened to what was said after. Finally she sighed, "Yes, well, I was sleeping... but before I get back to sleep I would like it if you explained things to me" she said to Kimmi, "Or I will never get to sleep wondering about it."
Luke thought about that, but there was something else, it could be the amount of the stuff, since he had some and Kimmi had it in her blood.. so, just to be sure, they should test it on a normal human with none of those things, but... considering that Khana was the only one there that qualified, he didn't say anything. Even though the chances of it infected someone like that were very low, he wasn't going to risk it, just in case.

Kimmi sighed. "Ok. Not here." She rubbed her eyes, she was beat and would like to get the wee bit of sleep prior to the nightmares she could. "Lets get back to camp where I can lay down for a bit." She snorted and moved toward the stairs. "We'll do it in my tent though and I would prefer if you left your weapons outside." She gave Khana a slight glare. "You have a habit of sticking guns in my face when you don't get the exact answers you want." She said referring to truck after she had slit the zombie's throat as well as when she refused to take a weapon.

Khana didn't say anything for a moment, holding Kimmi's glare, before saying "Fine" and raised her hands in submission... then she stuck her tongue out at her and kept walking, going past her and down the stairs. And as she went, she herd Luke snickering in the back before he started to follow her. What Kimmi probably didn't see was that she smiled after going passed her, not really mad about it at all. She was just anxious about this "news" or whatever.

Kimmi rolled her eyes before skipping down the stairs and past Khana. She whirled on the landing and gave the girl a very 'kimmi' smile and wink before moving out of the window. "Just remember, I can be whoever you prefer." She chirped in that perky tone.

Khana groaned after hearing that, then called down the stairs without increasing her pace any, "I never liked perky people anyway!" sounding very stubborn about it. She actually hadn't even liked Kimmi much when she first met her, but after a little while of getting to know her (or so she thought) she came around. Now it almost pissed her off to think that it was all for nothing.. she had made a real effort to get around the whole perky-people-annoy-the-out-of-me thing, and had come to not only like Kimmi, but to even feel protective over her. Something else that seemed pointless now.

Kay sighed in relief as the others started filing out. Hanging back from the group a bit she sunk to the floor against a wall and put her head inbetween her knees. The thing was back with vengeance, it wanted out and it wanted out now. They thing practically clawed at the inside of her mind as it struggled to get any sort of purchase. Kay took a rattled breath as she braced herself for attack after attack, each one a little less stronger then the one before it. It was tiring out, but so was she...

Luke was walking behind Khana, but he noticed that Kay was still back there, and Khana was distracted, so he quietly went back. He saw her on the ground like that and knew, at least somewhat, what she must be going through. He leaned against the wall a few feet away from her and whispered so that neither Khana or Kimmi would notice, "If you hold out enough times, it should stop" he said, even though he was really guessing.

Kay chuckled darkly. "Lets hope so." she stated, slowly pulling herself up from the floor. "I don't know how much longer I can hold out." she added with a sad smile.
