Silver Moonblade
There was no way the man would stay still for that; few who valued there lives in the slightest would. Crouching slightly, he would push off the ground quickly towards his assailant, jumping 30 feet in the air. Unless he were tossing the reminants of a volcano at him, it wasn't likely that the heat blast would reach him up there.

Doing a nice flip in midair,
he would have released superheated air slam into him midair.

He controlled heat, it wasn't out of mind once it left his body. The two blasts would curse, losing alot of thier power and alot of thier deadly ability, but 2 blasts of heated air while in the air flipping, not fun.

At the very least he would land disoriented, preferably with the hard rising current front those he would either land on something other than his feet or just land all out wrong.

really, tenma hoped the dude landed on his head but it really didn't matter.

WHAM!

Well, that was something that didn't happen anyday. Not that heat made any sound or anything, but it was what would be heard as he rebounded off his back and backwards onto his knees. It hurt... a lot.

Being passive aggresive wasn't obviously working at all. So he tried something else. After composing himself, he would charge in at full speed towards his opponent in a zigzagged way; he'd be easier to his if he ran completely straight.

If the swordsman had good eyes, he may notice that Silver's left hand had a faintly glowing green veil around it.

Green veil, noted. But not cared for.

As the man drew close Tenma did as he often did. Ducking low and moving quickly sideways with a quick sidestep he would bring his blade in a horizontal arc at the mans knees, the mans speed at him his own agility would make it a hard one to predict, plus it would be cool when the man tried to run on stumps. But that wasn't it. His left hand flashed quickly, going into his vest and back out in a quick shot, 2 kunai, thrown metal blades, would fly at the man as he ran forward, cool trick, like sleight of hand but a little more painful.

Hopefully this all worked, if not he would make due.

~CLANG!

Went the blade as it hit Dragoonari. Silver had allowed the spear to drop down as the swordsman sidestepped. Which left him partially vulnerable to the unseen kunais. One grazed under his right shoulder, and the other one missed entirely. He wasn't dashing in a pattern, which made him somewhat harder to hit with projectiles.

The man might be surpized at how quickly Moonblade came to a halt. It wasn't instantaneous, but it was quick enough to give someone a fright. Without wasting a moment, he quickly turned reached towards the man with his left arm. Preferably, he would have grabbed the neck or his arm or something, but anything availible would do right now.

If the Mystic Glove would make contact with his opponent, he would immediatly feel the energy being drained from his body. Not his physical energy, but his Chi or Magical energy would be taken first. Meaning unless that was exausted, Moonblade could easily be thrown off and attacked.

Though it would be foolish to under estimate the speed at which thier magic might be drained.

Simply put, it wasn't going to happen, pushing some of the heat from his arm into his own chest he would throw himself into a backwards lung hitting his back and rolling into a crouching and in a second standing position, heated blade at the ready he would smile as the man grasped air.

No energy there.

He would dash in quite quickly, blade coming at a verticle angle straight up and down angling with the mans throat and groin, that would hurt.

Moonblade would quickly leap and lean backwards, the blade cutting into his leg, Kimono and brestplate. Those lost moments almost proved fatal, not to mention excruciating.

Quickly he placed Dragoonair onto his back; it wouldn't be useful in close quarters.

As his slash ended at the groin his arm moved hard up and diagonally right aiming from groin to collarbone. He would also push the blade towards the man much harder seeing if he couldn't embed heated metal into the mans body.

While he did this heat was gathering on his left arm again. It would be a new skill, hopefully a killer.

Right now, avoidance was key. Though it was probably working twards the swordsmans goals, he did his best to back away and avoid the well placed swings. With the heat waves, it was getting increasingly difficult to see. One wrong move, and he was dead.

The purplish blood flowing freely from the sharp cuts were a grim reminder of this, but he had to wait it out for just a little longer if he had a chance to overcome his opponent.

Simple, really simple, get close, keep em backing up, charge, kill.

Life follows patterns, it was the simplest thing that humans identify withs, it why people know what to expect in the future.

As he slashed once more he stopped, inches from making whatever contact and his left arm straightened, like a piston extending but he wasn't punching, opening his hand the small word cut into his hand would glow breifly.

Heat

And something cool would happen. Heat would compress between them from all around, the average temperature within a 30 foot radius would drop as heat came in and in a blink all exploded. It would feel amazing for Tenma, he was extremely resistant to this, his body would fly backwards and he would land catching his balance, he focused all of the blast though straight into the other mans face and chest.

It would be like exploding a propane tank in his face. Not funny, very painful, perfect.

As tenma landed he would hold his now dull silver blade out ready to charge if the man got up, he hoped he did, he liked to see his handiwork.

Out of all the things the man could have done...

He was thrown, violently, by the extreme explosion of heat which tore and burned into his flesh. Steaming, he landing not so gracefully far from his opponent. He staggered to a stand. Though his blood had stained the earth, his terrible pains were all but a memory.

One might expect a look of anger or rage. That was what might see if he looked into his now indigo eyes, but on his face was the most malicious grin one would ever dare to look into. He was through with all this. It was his turn to strike back.

He placed his arms in front of him, rotating them in a cricular pattern once. Thrusting them forward, he would create a translucant, Fuschia sphere around his person. The globe would dissipate moments after being created, leaving Moonblade to wait for his opponent to charge in.

Now, this sphere resembled many many many things that could be absolutely obvious, he didn't think any of them would be true, he hadn't seen to aweful much of this mans power, he really didn't want to test it too much so he did something relatively simple.

Reaching into one of the small pouches in his sash he pulled out a handful of....sand?

Indeed, white sand from one of the southern beaches of the continent, there was some cool stuff to pick up just lying around. Holding the sand in his hand he heated it in seconds making a red hot globule of glass, forming it into a still hot ball he threw it at the man hard, reaching into his vest and retreiving one of his remaining kunai he waited, right hand resting on his hilt ready to draw.

Range weapons; the bane of his technique. The fresh, smoldering glass would deflect the Fuscia Glass Shield, which would become visible just in time to shatter into countless pieces. They pieces ranged from small shards to ones the size of a mans fist.

With blurring speed, they would dart out towards the glass orb, impalling and shreading it. All in all, it was a lot of glass going after the small orb of... glass.

The shards would dissapate, leaving nothing but the shattered and shreaded remains of the orb. Silver wasn't dumb enough to advance at this moment, as he didn't fancy getting showered by bits of glass.

Something new, fresh, more glass to say the least. He had 2 pouches of sand, taking one he poured it over his left hand, as he heated the air around it it made an oddly spike glove made of the once a gain prevailing glass. The spikes would hurt, and having glass slivers dropped under your skin might hurt too, He stood laughing gently at this.

Moving now slowly, side-stepping keeping his eye on the fighter his fist tight and ready to slam some glass in someone's face. Hopefully it wouldn't backfire.

Chris Custard
"So are you, it would seem." neutral "And if you think I'm giving it back. You're wrong"

He took a basic boxing pose.

Sun ran a hand through his hair. This kid...how's he controlling it? What's he made of?

"Fine." His arms came up, his right foot leading. The blow would come swiftly into the guard, a straight left, a test, a lean into the left, and then an uppercut with the right from below the two arms.

Sunstrike

Siat Dacore

PostPosted: Fri May 26, 2006 3:16 pm

Siat took the first punch into his forearms and juked sidewards as the uppercut came in, grabbing it at the wrist to yank Sunstrike into an elbow aimed at his stomach. If it connected, he would then turn so he had his back against Sunny's chest and wrap his arms around his head until Siat fell onto his arse which would drive Sunstrikes chin directly into his shoulder.
