I think you mean je voudrais instead of j'ai voudrais? Voudrais is a conditional conjugation of vouloir. If you wanted past conditional it would be j'aurais voulu, unless I'm mistaken (this doesn't really matter since the past conditional would sound funky in this sentence, IMO). My Francais amour is confusing to me. You'll need mon or ma for my, depending on the gender of the noun it relates to (I'm assuming it's singular). Blah, I think I'm even confusing myself with my explanations! Also, I think you mean et instead of est (which is a verb - etre) and there needs to be an a (accent grave, methinks) before Paris since you're talking about going to a city. Not sure about Normandy. A or en? You can see how mushy my brain gets when it comes to grammar. sweatdrop Either way, you need a preposition before Normandy. Since spring break isn't a French word (unless it's like le week-end and nobody gave me the memo gonk ) I personally wouldn't worry about an article (but my laziness makes me biased). However, if it were in French, you should have an article before it.

P.S. I don't mean to be rude or snobby (which I really can't be because my French grammar skills are nothing to brag about). Just trying to help! Helping others improves my grammar bit by bit, even if my suggestions turn out to be wrong (hopefully someone will correct them if they are). biggrin wewt

I want to go to Paris, too. In fact, I'm going to be studying abroad there for about six weeks this summer. I'm so excited that my brain spasms whenever I think about it. heart Too bad I'll be totally broke when I come back to the States. Does anyone want to help me pay rent when I come back? crying

Actually ... You're right about the tense of the verbs, but I think she meant 'et' instead of 'est' :/
Which would give something like

'Je voudrais aller à Paris. My français amour [now that's a tough guess XD ] aller à Paris et en Normandie pour les vacances de printemps / de pâcques' [ french words rarely [ in fact never, or almost] end in 'y' . It's rather 'ie' ]

You're very good at grammar I must say surprised

Well then you'd better not think too much about it ;]

J'ai retourné! Paris was great. :] I bought several CDs and a few children's books. My favourite is one called Monsieur Hippopotame which is in Japanese and French. On the last day, around midnight, I stubbed my toe very hard on the hotel door and the toenail lifted. I had to use a wheelchair at the airport the next day and everything. gonk

Yeah I really do. The worst part is, it really doesn't hurt too much at all, but it's so dehabilitating and I can barely walk. So school is going to be an issue.

Yes, I did get Le Petit Prince :3 And the Hippopotame book is very cute. I also got Le chat chapeauté hahaha ...

Bonjour! Comment allez vous?

Warning: My French is limited.

Bien. I found out that I didn't come close to failing the sociology exam that I thought I completely bombed. heart

For my oral presentation in French I'm talking about the weather and traffic. Hail as big as my fist and drunk students causing accidents on the interstate because they were drinking like it was Thursday night! I'm excited. xp I need to come up with more things to say because it's only 1 min 30 seconds long right now. JE NE SAIS PAS~! gonk

I need to hurry and do homework before all of this energy vanishes.

I only had 1 year of French in high school and it's been 2 years since then. I wanted to take it in college, but I'll have to wait until I go to a college that has it.

Aww. sad Je suis triste. Are you trying to keep the info fresh my studying it on your own or are you just going to completely hold it off until you go to a college that offers it? I really should have kept up Spanish on my own, but now it's been 5 years since I've done anything with it and I pretty much remember squat. sweatdrop
