noko laughed" Yeah thats usually the point. " she said handing him a cup of strong coffee. " Here drink this. " she said sitting down next to him. " ill sleep on the pillow. Just pray i dont go all gargoyle on you in the middle of the night. "

John looked at Noko. "I'm not sure I'd notice,if you do," John replied, " and thanks for coffee." John took the coffee. and sat there and deep thought taking a sip of it every so often. The coffee was strong and with every hour, his mind became more focused. Alright I need to figure out what to do. I can't spend the night here if I'm just gonna turn around and leave in the morning. Ugh, I can't believe this is all over a piece of paper!. Well I can't let it end this way. When I wake up again tomorrow I'll ask her to go out with me again. Hopefully she'll say yes. I just hope I haven't done anything tonight that'll ruin my chances of getting back with her... John thought. her laid down and looked up at a sleeping Noko, who was in her cat form. "Goodnight Neko" He said, more to himself then her, as he fell asleep.

Jacen had talked with the Professor about everything. And true to form, Xavier was understanding of the situation and more than eager to have Jacen back at the Institute it seemed. There was only one thing that Xavier said that seriously stuck with Jacen. Those words were: "If you were made to be an instrument of hate, you've already won against Apocalypse. Just look at your relationship with Kim. Look at the way you've been since you've enrolled at my school."

Jacen was actually smiling considering all the things that had happened in this short amount of time. His smiling was unnerving. Especially to alot of the younger students who had always seen him with a scowl or a just plain nasty look on his face. What was most unsettling was the tone of his voice as he greeted his fellow classmates. Everyone was caught off-guard as he smiled and greeted everyone with a warmth he hadn't had in what could have been construed as forever. Even Kitty was stunned when Jacen greeted her. And yet he kept on moving along until he made it to where he saw Vincent and Lindsey speaking.

When he actually made it to the two, he let them finish their conversation before he spoke up. Vincent looked up and saw that Jacen was standing kind of off from the two and when Jacen knew he was noticed, he approached the two.

"Hey, you guys. Things going good?," Jacen asked. Vincent and Lindsey both nodded before Jacen spoke up again. "Cool. Hey. There's been somethin I've wanted to say to you guys since the whole Apocalypse debacle. I'm...I'm sorry I dragged you both into all that crap."

Jacen sighed and stood up a bit taller. "If I'd have known what was going to transpire, I would have chosen execution rather than serve that madman. Again, I apologize." The air was a bit..somber upon his apology, but Jacen just smiled at looked at his friends.

"So, anyways, what's the occasion guys? We just standing around to stand around, or is there some s**t to do?," asked Jacen as he started to fidget with some loose change in his pocket.

Eric, Greg and Lily made their way down the halls of the institute and all wore serious expressions on their faces.
Finally Lily looked over at Eric. "Will you die? Can you see your death?" She asked, concern in her voice.
Eric sighed. "I've seen my death . . .yes . . .but it's not all clear. I could die now, tomorrow, or fifty years from now, you never know."
Greg nodded, understanding what Eric meant.

Nicole stepped out of her cab and stared at the institute that lay before her. "Little brother, I'm home . .."

You can always RP someone answering the door for you, you don't need to always rely on someone else, I know that gets irritating. Besides, jamie already greeted you. I guess you missed that.

ic: "Don't apologize Jacen, it wasn't entirely you're fault. Each one of us was involved in that last little gig in some way or another, it wasn't just the fault of one, you know that. Besides, we're X-Men, this is what we do." She said giving him a playful nudge in the shoulder.

"Now maybe we should get downstairs for the thing. I believe Scott, Jean, and Jamie are down there, and I smell a new student."

Nicole stared at the young man and shook her head. "Want in?" She asked him. When he didn't reply she simply pushed the gate opened and looked back at him. "Are you coming in or should I close the gate?"
