"There are some... but as you said just not enough I suppose. If there were more who appreciated old things then maybe there would be more museums, more national parks. I dunno." Faye rubbed the back of her neck with a soft sigh. "Not to say I don't like new books. I actually prefer some of the newer romance novels to the old ones from Emily Bronte."

"Oooh romance novels." Megan laughed lightly. "That's true. I like museums." She blinked, and tilted her head. "This this place is big enough to have one around here?"

Faye considered the size of the town and wrinkled her nose slightly in thought. "Nothing as big as the Met, but definitely at least a smaller sized museum. I know I've seen other museums in small one horse towns so this one could have a fair sized one. It just matters on what the museum would have in it. Natural History or whatnot. I know of a few museums we visited up in the maritimes, there was a string of them together from town to town that were basically just old houses of some of the more prestegous members of the community. Lawyers, old money, you know the type?"

Megan nodded. "I might be interesting. And yeah." She brushed a few bangs out of her face. "I like museums. I can't rememver the last time I was at one...Maybe I should find the nearest one in a nearby town and convince my mom to take me next time she's around."

"It would be fun." Faye mused with a small smile, twirling her parasol before tilting her head back to look up at the moon. "Gosh it's such a beautiful night. I love it when it gets like this. Cool but not chilly and clear all around so you can actually see where you're going. No clouds to hide the moon and make things difficult you know?"

"Kind of romantic how you can see so many stars. Like a thousand tear drops of angels frozen in space." Faye whispered then cleared her throat. "Maybe I should lay off the romance novels..."
The pale girl curled her fingers tighter around the hilt of her parasol and looked down at the ground, her cheeks pinkening slightly as she continued to speak. "May I ask a favor? In return for seeing you home safe I mean?"

Megan chuckled. "Maybe so. But there's no such thing as too many. And..." Megan blinked, and tilted her head. "I suppose?" She raised an eyebrow, curious. "What is it?"

Faye blushed and tilted her parasol down so it covered the two of them. She slowly edged forward, the wind brushing her skirts ever so slightly.
"May I kiss you goodnight?"

Megan only seemed surprised a moment, then tilted her head, and pushed her lips to the side slightly. "I suppose, if that's really what you want? Though, somewhat of an...odd request."

Faye fidgeted and tilted her parasol up once more so the moon could shine freely on both their faces, giving her skin a slightly translucent sheen.
"You don't have to if you're not comfortable."

"Live on the wild side, that's one of my personal rules." Megan shook her head slightly, getting bangs out of her face. "Doesn't matter. I've done worse." She shrugged. Ah, memories.

Faye smiled, tilting her head so her eyes were shadowed ever so slightly. "Then... you wouldn't mind if I took my kiss now?"

Faye smiled and slid her parasol closed, closing the distance between them as she did so. One lithe hand slipped behind Megan's back to rest at the small of her back while the other went to her neck, gingerly cradling the girl close to her. Her heart rate increased at the heat of the girl next to her, making it feel like her normally cold hands were being soaked in warmth. She tried not to show a hint of fang as she leaned in closer to whisper in Megan's ear.
"Thank you for this..." the pale girl whispered and moved her lips to the elegant neck.
