She squeaked, hugging Jak, tightly. "Of course not! I was hoping you would! It'll be so much fun. And if you guys wouldn't ride us too much, Po could come with you!"

Jak hugged her back, then stood up. "I think Po would rather come with you love," he teased. "But you'll need to talk to him about that. Suru's making breakfast if you'd like to join us." He moved back to the door, aiming a grin at her before exiting the room.

Canti's eyes widened and she lauched another, small pillow at Jak as he exited, screeching his name mortifiedly. "OhmygodsJak, STOP THAT!"

Laughing wickedly, he padded down the stairs, stopping in the kitchen.
"I believe Canti is well awake now love. A warning about the dangers involved in waking that little kitten would have been nice." With a wink, he slipped out the back door to the garden, searching for Tessie.

"No idea what you mean." Suru said brightly, shifting pans between oven racks, not looking up.
Tessie was at the far end of the yard, on her hands and knees working in a flower bed, dilligently.

Making his way to the far end, Jak watched her quietly for a few minutes before dropping onto a nearby bench. "Good morning. You've done a wonderful job back here."

Tess didn't seem surprised. She'd heard him come up to the front, and had hoped he would come to see her. She turned, beaming softly. "Thanks. The frost has made it difficult, but I've managed. And those vines have more strength than I ever imagined they could have left, after being dry and pitiful for so long." She motioned to the fence wall that was covered with a beautiful crawl of ivy ropes.

Jak glanced at the vines, smiling softly. "They respond well to you. You have a lovely gift Teresa." He rose, offering her a hand up. "Suru is making breakfast if you'd like to join us."

She beamed, shyly, nodding and taking his hand. "Hai, breakfast sounds nice, thank you." She dusted her dress off, lightly, and pushed her hair back off her forehead lightly.

Tucking her hand into the crook of his arm, Jak led her slowly across the yard. "You've settled in here? You're happy with Suru and Canti?"

She nodded brightly, smiling. "Hai. I feel very at home now, with Suru and Canti. I feel like a real part of the family, now. And with my ... my friend, Rohan ... he makes me feel very special."

She padded inside, murmuring a soft thank you as she did, smiling and waving at her brother.
Suru popped up, bearign a tray of egg and 4 cheese souflees, grinning broadly. "Morning, petal, how are the vines doing?"
"They're good, they managed to survive the frost last night, so they should be okay now."

Jak followed her in, closing the door behind them. "Breakfast smells good," he grinned as he passed Suru, moving to the cupboard to remove plates and glasses. Setting the table quickly he poured Suru and himself another coffee.

"Thanks," Suru chirped brightly, smiling as he started setting plates.
Tessie took a seat at the table, spreading her dress out, gently.
Canti was down quickly, too, still yawning lazily and looking ruffled.
