Ronnie took a short cut throught the forest to get to the beach and saw Sun and Jack run across the sand by the water and dissappear behind some trees. As she walked up she notes that not very much damage had occured during the storm, luckily.

As she walked down the beach Ronnie thought about hockey some more. "If I could just talk to Sun she could help me but she is always with Jack." she complained to herself. Then she started wondering odd things like what day it was and how long exactly had they been on the island in their hearts it felt like forever but it couldn't have been that long could it?

"If you keep distracting me like this, we will never have a house." Sayid said as he made another dive for shore. Shannon grabbed onto his leg and held fast.
"Nooo..." She whined. " Don't leave me in here alone. What if someone sees me? Then you'll have to protect my honour."
"Why don't we both get out, and you can cut up that food you brought and I can get back to work on the house. There obviously isn't much done except for cut timber and timber by itself on the ground won't help us much will it?"
"But..."
"Shannon..." Sayid said sternly and she pouted like a little girl but allowed him to lead her up onto dry land. She had brought two towels with her-originally with the plan of them being the picnic blanket but now they were going to be much more useful.
As she wrapped the towel around her, like a small strapless dress she did as Sayid said and sat down next to the bag of food. He dried quickly and was in the process of getting dressed by Shannon held up a hand.
"Don't put your shirt back on. I like looking at a man work shirtless." She grinned, morning sickness gone. Sayid laughed at the demand, for it had been an unmistakable demand and let his t-shirt fall to the ground.
"Are you happy?" He asked, tossing her his towel. She continued to grin up at him and proceeded to used the towel to scrunch at her hair and dry her face. Sayid went over to the pile of wood he'd cut.
Carefully Shannon extricated her make-up case and fold-up mirror.
"What are you doing?" Sayid's voice was soft and Shannon raised an eyebrow.
"I'm putting my face on, I have to look good."
"Don't...I like you better without all of the make-up...don't get me wrong. I like it when you dress up but right now you look very natural and I would like you to stay that way...at least for this afternoon."
"Alright...I guess it's an eye for an eye." She muttered under her breath, eyes glancing over his bare chest and then, back as he turned back to his work. There were small scratches by his shoulders and she smirked, wondering what Sawyer would have to say when they returned to camp and Sayid was covered in scratches and smelt like Apricot Utopia.

After a few minutes of silence she set aside the piece of coconut she'd been nibbling on and looked up as Sayid sawed at a near-by tree. She felt utterly useless and sighing she rolled onto her stomach, towel blanketing her against the grass though now, barely covering her. "So I suppose I'm just going to be a big fat distraction?" She asked. Sayid chuckled.
"You're just a distraction right now, but perhaps in several months time you'll be a big fat direction." He narrowly missed being hit with a coconut shell.
"You-"
"You're the one who referred to yourself as a blimp earlier. Not me. I was only trying to agree with you."
"Har har..." She dragged her fingers through her hair and pulled his towel over to cover her backside before she set her head down. "I'm having a nap."
"Here?" He asked, saw falling to his side as he turned to face her. "You cannot just sleep naked in the middle of the Island! What if someone sees you?"
"Then you'll have to make sure that they don't." She turned her head to the side and smiled. He felt a pull and without thinking he set the saw down carefully and was halfway across the distance between them, dark eyes studying the curves of her body as he neared before a brief moment brought a second of clarity to the situation.
"You have got to be the most...tempting distraction I have come into contact with."
"And you love me for it." Shannon grinned into the towel before stretching her arms out towards him.

Hours later, the sun was setting on the exhausted couple, now sharing a towel with the same ellated smiles plastered on their faces.
"I hope you realize that because of you, I got no work done on our hut today." Sayid said in a serious tone, though he was unable wipe the smile from his face.
"Well I guess you're just going to have to work twice as hard tomorrow." She shrugged, sitting up and taking the towel with her. "I'm hungry." she rose to her knees and picked up her discarded clothing.
"Well why don't we go back to the beach and eat some supper then? I'm actually getting hungry myself and I don't quite like the idea of making the treck back once it's dark out." He stood quickly, reaching for the pants that lay mere feet away and stepped into them, watching as she pulled the last strap of her top over her shoulder.
"We could make a fire, invite a couple people..."
"Oh I get it." Sayid said, wrapping an arm around her as they started back through the woods. "You just want to show me off."
"Maybe."

As the couple began the long trek back to the beach, Shannon stopped, suddenly. "Our stuff is in the caves." She said in almost a whine, almost.
"We can get it tomorrow." Sayid assured her but Shannon shook her head, feet planted on the path.
"Our blankets, our pillows and our bags are there and I'm not going back without them." Sayid frowned.
"What if the storm comes again, then we will have to move it all back again."
"Then we're staying in the caves."

"Shannon..." Sayid sighed tiredly. She knew his dislike of the caves.
"I'm serious."
"Then you walk back to the beach and I will go collect our things and then come and find you, alright? There is no sense in you walking all the way back to the caves and then all of the way back to the beach." He answered, with worry. Shannon sighed.
'But I don't want to walk alone."
"I'm sure you'll be fine." Sayid re-assured her, reaching to cup her cheek. She leaned into the warm, calloused hand but still looked up at him, with pleading in her eyes.
"I don't want to walk alone..." She said, this time with fear in her eyes.
"It's nearly dark...I suppose we can stay under my shelter..." He smiled softly and then took her hand in his.
"Without my stuff?"
"Shannon..."
"Look, fine. I'll walk to the ******** beach but you better meet me there." She crossed her arms across her chest, eyes narrowed.
"If you don't feel-"
"I feel fine!" She snapped and then spun on her heel towards the beach. Sayid went after her but she turned back and glared at him. "I can go by myself! I'm a big girl."
"But you said-"
"Who cares what I said, just go get our stuff." There was an authority in her voice and tiredly Sayid watched her go, worried but positive she would be alright.

Heather looked at her new place and smiled. It was a quick make. But at least she would now have a roof and a floor. She'll work out everything else later. For now, Heather was going to spend her first night in weeks with a real roof and a real floor. Heather set to making her way to the caves to get her belongings.
OOC: I do believes that openings are coming up for a posible attack.
