He blinked several times in confusion when she spoke. When she was done he looked at his patch and then around him. "My lot? You mean-...but the other guys. I'm not like them! And whatdya mean by 'seer'..." Very quickly Jake put two and two together. "...what? Like...Professor Crazy Lady? And what does Voldemort got to do with any of this?"
There was a loud bang! that sounded like thunder right over them, and then another fainted bang! in the direction of Hogsmeade. The Death Eaters there looked about then towards Hogwarts. One of the female Death Eaters fumed so much, that later on her cohorts swore they saw steam seeping out of her ears. "JAAAAKE!" She screamed.
In Hogwarts Jake had waited for the "thunder" to die down so he could speak to her again, but he heard that faint noise of the Death Eater screaming and he looked about. "Did you hear something?"

Anna-Marie nodded, for she too heard the noise from a small distance. In fact, a few moments before it had occured, she saw a flash of Death Eaters apprating in Hogsmeade. "Great, just great....I can never get a moment of peace due to them...." She huffed, crossing her arms. She debated whether or not she should go off and disappear for awhile, or if she should stay. "Wait, did they call your name? Why would they do that?" She asked, recalling that from her vision.
Carina smiled. "Sound's like a plan to me....she'd probably love to help. And, even though Neville can't help with the spellwork, he'd probably help with keeping our memories safe." She added, knowing he'd want to do something.

Jake gave a sheepish shrug. "Let's just say I've done this more than once to them." He looked out towards the small town then back to her, noting her white hair once again. "So...about you. Tell me more about yourself."

Anna-Marie raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by 'I've done this more than once to them' ?" She asked curiously. As he looked briefly at her hair, she subconsciously gathered some in her hand and played with it. "I'm a seer, like my grandmother, my parents and brother are held captive by the Dark Lord in order for me to tell him and his followers what I see...what else is there to say?"

"How much clearer can I get from 'more than once'?" Jake asked her and himself as he thought of an example. "Oh...kinda like...this. Voldemort. Voldemort. Oh Volde- volde- volde- Voldemort..." He sang to the tune of the "Lollipop" song. Every time he said his name, more and more Death Eaters were apparated into Hogsmeade and Jake chuckled as his name was heard more clearly now that there were more Death Eaters added to it. He shrugged wide and rolled his eyes as if he had nothing to do with it. "Oh well..." He shouted with amusement and sarcasm, knowing he'd catch hell from either the Carrows, or Snape himself later.
The 7th Year Slytherin leaned against the tree listening to Anna-Marie's life story before giving a heavy sigh. "You know...I see abduction and blackmail a crime, but an even bigger crime is that you don't know the proper answer to a question from the likes of me." He picked small bark off of the tree and stared at it as if looking for something. "See...someone pretty like you would probably have had experience with being asked out or flirted to all the time so something like this would have been easy, but it isn't. I see THAT as a crime. That none of the other guys in this here establishment, Gryffindor or Slytherin, 1st Year or 7th, has in no way prepared you for the likes of me."

Anna-Marie realized what he meant. Saying Voldemort was a taboo now, and it caused Death Eaters to apprate to check on things. She remembered being told that by the Slytherins that kept an eye on her for Voldemort. After that explanation, and the repetition of Voldemort's name, she was kinda shocked by what else he said. So, he wanted to ask her out. She definately didn't see that coming, at all, future seeing abilities or not. "Oh really." She said, raising one eyebrow. A bit arrogant, wasn't he. He really didn't know the likes of her either. "So, how am I not prepared for the likes of you?" She asked, a bit curious.

"Well...because...I'm American!" Jake shouted, spreading his arms out to the sides of him as if he were selling his body. He gave her a wide grin to go with it. "What other 7th year Slytherin do you know of is American and carries around a big a** sword like mine-..." The Slytherin unsheathed his sword and swiped the air twice, then did a fancy twirl with it before throwing up in the air and catching it with his right hand, slapping the flat side of the blade to his shoulder in a sort of Salute towards her. "...who is also not afraid to speak out the Dark Lord's name, piss off a bunch of Death Eaters, and not be immediately mean to you?"

Anna-Marie couldn't help but laugh a bit at his actions. She watched and shook her head. "Showoff..." She said aloud, voicing her thoughts. "While it may be true that you aren't being mean to me, I do know another Slytherin who is American. Raven. I cannot say that she has a sword, but I do believe she is a seventh year." She explained, leaning against the tree. Her stark white hair was quite a contrast from the brown bark. As she looked at him, she had to admit to herself that he was good looking, and had a sense of humor.

Jake narrowed his eyes slightly at how she named another American. But he noted that other one to be female, and he sighed heavily. "I meant as a guy. I'm the only guy American, yes? I mean...in Slytherin. There may be others in the other houses, but c'mon! A guy with a sword, that pretty much makes me a knight!"

Devin Williams walked through the halls at the head of his little posse. They were in a V-shape formation much like one would see a flock of ducks in. Though they're much meaner than ducks. The formation did not break but rather barged through groups of students where ever they went, they literally took up the whole hallway and they only broke formation to let those loyal to the Dark Lord or fellow Slytherins through.
Everyone else either had to get out of the way or be trampled over, and that last part was not an exaggeration as a 1st year Hufflepuff too slow to move out of the way was literally shoved to the floor and stomped on.
When the group did finally disband it was for multiple reasons. A nap, to see their other halfs, a meal, to study, class, etc. Soon it was just Devin, the pack leader wandering the halls, until he came upon Raven and Carina.
He grinned and wrapped an arm around both of them, invading in their conversation. "What're you two ladies up to?" Though Carina was a Gryffindor, he knew where her loyalties lied.

Anna-Marie raised an eyebrow. "Really, a knight...You'd have to be chivalrous to be a knight..." She noted casually. Personally, she wondered how he would respond. Absently, she twirled some hair around a finger.
Carina almost jumped when Devin wrapped an arm around her. She managed to supress the urge. After all, Devin was kinda friends with her brother, Crucius. She bit her lip momentarily. "Not much Devin, you?"

Raven gasped. "Devin. Jeesh. Scare the crap out of me why don't you!" she said giving him a push on the shoulder. "What brings you to our neck of the woods?" she said looking around for Draco.

The 7th year Slytherin relaxed from his stance, and sheathed his sword rubbing the back of his head gingerly. "Actually I have been working on that a bit. Not cuz to pick up chicks or be a real knight or nothing. It just feel's right." He shrugged and sighed heavily. "Don't worry about it. I can take the hint when I'm not welcome to your....lot...actually that sounds stupid. To you people."
Jake was...kind of smart. One he was being brutally honest. Two, he was pulling the card that would hopefully make her feel sorry. It was usually the last one seeing as he HAD to walk away to put the entire act into effect. And that's what he did, he slowly began to walk away.

The other 7th year Slytherin gave them both a wider grin. "Oh nothing...I was just wondering if you had any friends I could take out to the Halloween event." Unlike Jake, Devin was picky with who he went out with. After all, he could never be caught with anyone else other than another Slytherin or a loyal follower of the Dark Lord, what kind of image would that send out to everyone else? A bad one.
And also unlike his American friend, he didn't like to work for much of anything. If he had to pick out the sluts of the House he would. That was just the sort of person he was.
