Why in Sam's hell would he have a flagpole as a weapon and not have a banner and corresponding clothing that would work with it?

...So? o wo This isn't really a big moral trope or anything, it's just an observation on how, mainly in video games, the combinations of clothing people wear can look very silly despite its overall effectiveness.
