There is no cause for alarm. I am not being facitious when I say that Salu can take care of herself. I do not choose inept assistants.
Everything is going to be fine. It is illogical and foolish to concede defeat before even knowing the ransom.
I'm returning to my lab. Caitlin, might I suggest you do something to bolster this one's confidence before he decides to do something stupid like storm the AI's stronghold again?

Well, then what to do?! A rescue has to be at least attempted - but I'm not going to harm the girls life... I assume Brainiac 5 is formulating some kind of plan. I'd like to help in any way I could... I spent all last night with Vi, I've grown quite fond of the girl...
And no, I don't think so either. It's just, "never-really-was-that-stable computer genius scorned by now kidnapped girl" you know?

Last I talked to Salu this morning.. She was quite.. conflicted you know.
She had a big date with Tenzil. That.. Didn't happen. Now she's missing.
