Vincent thought a moment, then closed his eyes. "Do you remember the last time I was away, and I couldn't say anything about it?" he asked softly, relaxing a bit under her touch. "That was the first time I met her... I didn't tell you because it would have led to questions I'm not allowed to answer." A tear leaked down his cheek. "I was going to ask you to come see her once we'd settled this Tynan business..."
Lily glared at him mildly, then snuggled close, her head on his shoulder. "I would have snuck away." she told him quietly. "You can't keep me here unless I choose to stay. And now I do."

"It's ok.." she said soflty as she continued to stroke his hair. She offered him all the support she could

"Then it's a good thing I'm not going..." Lily murmured, kissing his neck. "I don't want you to get sick again. Especially not because of me." she sighed, then looked up into his face. "Arlen... what are we going to do about her?"
"I was stolen." Vincent answered, voice a little distant, eyes remaining closed. "My egg, from her nest. It was stolen and sold to Xaldin. I'd never met her before.

"Oh My love" she said quietly. He gets to meet her and then she died so suddenly
"it must have been quite a reunion" she murmmued smling gently

"I don't know," Arlen admited. "But we'll figure something out. Maybe she just has me confused with someone else," he added hopefully.

"It was." Vincent smiled a bit more, then hugged her gently. "She would have liked you... you would have liked her." Trying to put aside his grief for the moment, he stroked her tail. "You'll have to come with me sometime... meet my brother and sisters." Suddenly, he yawned, his outbursts having tired him considerably.
"Sweetie... somehow I doubt it." Lily told him quietly, then kissed him softly, a small yawn escaping. "But maybe... I love you." she murmured, on the edge of sleep.
((Mama just said if I don't go to bed soon, she's 'returning' my 'gift', so I gotta amscray. :sigh: ))

"I love you too," Arlen said, settling in on the couch with her. "Good night, Love,' he said, before drifting off himself.
((I should go too. My parent's might revoke the 'gift' from me as well if I don't start waking before 12 and doing chores for them))

"Okay..." Vincent murmured, sitting up and pulling her into his arms before he lay back again, holding her close. "I love you, Ukaia... thank you." With that, he was asleep, looking strangely vulnerable.
"Night sweetie." Lily murmured, snuggling close and falling asleep with a last yawn.

Ukaai relaxed a bit snuggling more aginst him soflty
"You're welcome.. sweet dreams my love" she whispered soflty.. she held him close to her.. protectin him.. praying bad dreams wouldn't bother her like they had lastnight.
