Stuff happens. Scary as it might be, one can't go through life letting fear dominate their actions. But one would be foolish not not be afraid either, the world is cold and unforgiving. I stopped watchign the news because of stuff like this, ignorance is bliss.

oh, trust me, I know; I'm quite the optimist. my mom was telling me about this herself, so it's hard to be ignorant. I don't watch the news either, but I'm still really cautious.. and easily scared. D:

Optimist? No no my friend, quite the opposite. I simply believe that things are so hopeless that any efforts to prevent things from going down are futile. Watchign the news isn't going to prevent you from being the news, being paranoid isn't going to help any either. It's better to simply not care, since it all widdles down to luck in the end. Least that's how I see things.

Optimism, pessimism. Neither matter so much: it all boils down to how much of the news is real, and how much of it is fabricated. Either way, allowing the news and all of it's fear-mongering get to you is no way to live your life. Crenu's got a point there.

A +3 Flaming hammer won't do it unless you roll a natural 20, unless you're class is barbarian. Use my +3 Swordmace that ignites when you say "Toast!", it's friendly to all classes except wizard and ranger.
