Shiro smiled at his 'Student'. He had a good attitude.
"Alright. Yesterday we took the first step in your basic training, Interest. Now that I know you are interested, we touched on the second step: comprehension. We've been over how the Chakra system works, and you've shown me that you understand the basics of how it works. The third step is Emphasis. I've put emphasis on the need for proper Chakra controlling by making you perform the tree climb over and over. Are you with me so far?"

Snapping out of his contented daze, Sage looks around and wipes some drool from his face, " er...uh, yea, and mr. neko sir, please feel free to feast upon the breakfast of champions.....it's got enough cholesterol to make a fat mans heart stop!" after saying this he laughs and looks back to shiro, " emphasis, right..."

Kenshin walked quietly past the others eating and talking and went straight to making his own breakfast, humming cheerfully. He then walked out to the same tree he'd studied in the night before with his Belgian waffles ( razz ) and scarfed them down quickly, eager to get back to his studies. His waffles thoroughly devoured, he made himself comfortable on the branch, and closed his eyes, focusing hard on his goal. Then, bringing his fingers to his lips, he snapped, and blowing between them, blew wispy streams of water out from the tree. It was all he could do so far, but he'd keep practicing until he mastered the...Kenshin thought for a second, then looked back at the scroll. The... Suiton Suijinheki, yeah, that's it, he said to himself.

Misa walked into the room looking at the others. Her face scrunched when she smelled the food. In her right hand was her sai, with a red and black handle. She was twirling it around, not really thinking about it. She came to a stop next to Sage and Shiro.

Shiro turned back to Sage.
"Sort of. When teching, I usually put emphasis on important subjects or key phrases by speaking in a bolder tone, banging on stuff to make loud noises, and returning to the same subject over and over to make sure you get the point that it's important. Anyone can jsut say it's important, but the first time people say anything, it usually goes in one ear and out the other. By returning to the important topics, I can be sure that you'll understand. But you did a good job in using humour to put emphasis on the cholesterol part, that was good."
Shiro took a bite out of a juicy slice of canteloupe.

Misa blinked and slowly started her way over to Neko. There was a small look of shock on her face, as to the presence she could feel. She stood a few feet in front of him, waiting for what could happen next. She barely ever moved, standing almost completley still.

with a grin, Sage replies, first to neko, then to shiro, " suprise? ooo....is it shiney? as for using humor to make emphasis, good catch. in truth I was just throwing it out there to be funny." and with that Sage let out a laugh. it was at that point that he noticed misa and the twirling sai, " nice fork, is it for super sized pancakes or something?"

Her gaze quickly turned to Sage. Her eyes were narrowed. "Not really, I do not eat much. But if would like to see what it can do, I would gladly show you.." A smirk formed on her lips as she brought the sai to a stop, and held it in front of her chest, a gleam in her eyes.

Here's the deal...We're gonna put you guys through a little test today...You have to catch two people...If you catch the first, you automatically bumped up to take your Genin tests...I have a cadet that shows a lot of promise...He is your first target...

A chill ran down Shiro's back as he sensed the flow of Chakra eminating from Neko before turning to Sage.
"Okay there, humour is a good was of making a point, but using it too often makes people lose interest and think that the lesson isn't important. Humour is good once in a while, but like anything else, overusing it wears it out."
He turned back to Neko.
"A cadet that shows lot of promise? Ha! I can catch anyone, anything, any time. And by the way, who here shows more promise than I do? And what happens if we catch teh second guy?"
