Carlos stepped in after Aurora, chuckling at her joke. He looked around as he followed her, taking in what his new 'home' was. It looked big on the outside, but on the inside it felt twice the size of a church. Breathing in, there was a fient, but at the same time extremely distinct taste in the air. Blood. Pure blood, making him anxious and fidgety as he followed Aurora down the corridors and along the rooms silently.
"I don't mean to intrude or anything, but..." Carlos began, trying to figure how to end his sentence. "May I ask... why is there the scent of blood in the air?"

"Alright, I'll try to pick one out" Shadow said, it wasn't going to be too difficult to find a decent rapier for Maxine. he had so many sittign around that he had collected over the years. Some where crafted by the finest of smiths of the time. "Do you want me to pick you one just now or would you rather we did something else for now?" Shadow asked.

aurora turned and looked at him with a smile "because we vampires need blood to live you know" she said walking backwords and she stop at a door "here it is your room, do whatever you like in here" she said as she opened the door and only half way "im hoping your not scared of vampires" she said opening the door all the way and walked in

"No no, I just get alittle edgy around blood." Carlos said. 'Great. Vampires. The last ones I met tried to kill me for my lineage... perhaps this wasn't the smartest idea. I'll have to assess the situation first.' Carlos thought to himself, peering on into the room. "Are you busy? I wouldn't mind talking to someone I'm introduced to before meeting the rest of the people here." Carlos asked, masking his nervousness with common manners.

Shadow placed a gentle kiss on Maxines forehead, "Alright, I have the perfect one for you... if I could remember where I put it." Shadow had too think for a moment. He had two seperate weapon stores for himself, one in his room and the other in his crypt. There where alot of blades all in alll and Shadow was thinking of a specific one. "My room. Thats where I left it." Shadow said out of the blue as he remember its location.

aurora walked to the window and opened it and bit of air blowing in the room making it not feel stuffy inside "i dont mind at all i know how you feel i was scared to meet the people in the house" she said as she sat down on the window leg

She took hold of her bottle and sipped the last few drops of blood from it.

"I'm glad you understand" Carlos sighed, entering the room and sitting on the bed. "Then, could you tell me what they're like around here? I'd feel much more comfortable knowing what my fellows are like before meeting them."
Carlos crossed his legs as he sat on the bed, closing his eyes and taking in his surroundings, awaiting an explenation of the vampires around here.

Shadow smiled and lead the way to his room. After openeing the door Shadow setpped inside, from the looks of it the servant had taken Jenna else where for now. "Come on in." Shadow said as he walked over to the cabinate that he stored his swords in. He unlocked it and opened the doors. Shadow took a moment too look over the mass of swords that lined it. Trying to pick out a specific one from so many was a little difficult especialy when only using the hilt to identfy them. When Shadow was satisfied that he had found the right one he removed it and closed the cabinet. "Here, this is one of the finest blades I have in my collection."

aurora turned and looked out the window "well its not just vampires in this house there more different beings in here like werewolf, there one i know called dave really funny guy, i keep callling him fluffy" she said as she laugh "there demons, angels and so much more but shadow might tack a bit to understand he is a vampire but he is nice to me he is like my dad but dont worry he may be old but he is nice when you get to know him, vickilyn owns this house and she nice too" she said turning her head looking at Carlos "so dont worry if anything goes bad just call me and i try help you its what im here for" she said giving Carlos a smile to tell him there nothing to worry about in this house "but be careful about hunters we dont want them coming here we dont really looking for trouble" she said looking out the window again smelling the clean air

Carlos turned and looked towards Aurora, now questioning which she might be. "I'm not being hunted, so don't worry on that." Carlos announced. "But I didn't expect such a variety... so may I ask which you are? I'm a lycan, but I prefer not to show it. I don't like feeling too different from others."
'It's easier to talk now... but I don't want to say too much. I especially don't want to go down into my past' Carlos thought to himself, remembering gruesome images of his pack, shuddering at the sight.

aurora jumped off the window leg "huh?.. oh im a vampire dont worry im not going to drink your blood" she said as a joke then laugh "know would you like to meet shadow but i wounder where shadow is" she said as she walked to the door and opening it "Dad! "she shouted down the hall ways

Shadow nodded, "Yes, I am sure. The thing hardly gets used and a blade liek this deserves to get used." Shadow said as he walked over to his bed and sat down next to Maxine. "Take it, please."
Shadow heard Aurora calling for him but just barely. Shadow put the sword down for a moment and then walked to his door, "In my room!" he called out to Aurora.
