Well, it might not make you feel better, but I live in South Texas. We're so close to Mexico that we get a whole lot of the culture that just seeps into the area. Part of the Mexican Old-world type culture is the idea of Machismo. Men are supposed to be strong and not show weakness. There is no good word for gay in the spanish language that I can think of. They're all ugly epithets. It's damn hard to find somebody down here as well. Not much to choose from. I want to move to a bigger city because of this.

yeah...I'm gonna be stuck like that. I'm joining the military...no openly homosexual people are aloud to join. But if I don't like it I'll just tell my commander "I'm questioning my sexuality" and I'll be out of the military.
