Amane grinned watching Zadina's cape "Ooh well that looks very nice and I like the colour. But my turn..." she trailed off struggling for a moment to rip the tape off the wrapping paper "Oh its not a cape but its a cloak with a hood and its even got little ear holes up top" she stated with a small "ooh" sound. "Thats really nice, but what about you Mr. Alpha? Not wanna open your presents yet" she asked seeing him hang back.

Alpha smiled but shook his head "Nice outfits you have there. But don't worry about me. I already opened my presents for fire demons are not known for being patient. I just got wine mostly as I don't think half the crew knew what to get me" he laughed.

Hebal nodded her head approvingly "Thats such a nice gift so be sure to thank Satoshi when you see her. And a cape and cloak is really good when you dont know someones size to make clothes. But I was good and didn't buy you wine. I got you spicy stuff instead" she added glad to have been the most original gifter to Alpha as she unveiled a somewhat revealing black dress made for her by the ninja.

Oassu smiled recognising the warming presence of Felina's magic "I probably should have dressed more for winter, can get better clothes later on I suppose didn't realise Yithra would be colder than Agralia in winter" he muttered slightly apologetically as he looked over at the happy bunny with a smile.

Gil nodded "That's why it's wise to find a safe place to hide or build a shelter so you can have a fire in peace though I'm not great at tree climbing as you might imagine in my armour" he said glancing over at the bacon hungrily "Sure you don't need a hand there?" he asked eager to speed the process up.

Zadina nodded in agreement "I'm not old enough to buy alcohol neither so you've not got any from me Cap'n Alpha" he said flinging the cape over his shoulders looking out of place with his pyjama's "Does it suit me and make me look heroic?" he asked standing up and posing with his cape.

Felina smiled back wishing at that point she could reach over and hug Oassu "Well you know for next time right? It only gets as cold as this because we get so little sunlight through the trees anyway let alone in the shorter days. At its shortest we only get an hours sunshine a day, Funnily enough the crime rate rises during that time.

Satoshi nodded stepping to one side "Hey you can't rush a good sizzling piece of bacon though if you want to help you can stir the beans and make sure they don't boil as theres only so much I can do with my two hands" she suggested pouring the contents of the bean can into the pan. Fire makes smoke and shelters stand out too much apparently. But we get by, maybe I'll go camping with you one day and give you some tips"

Amane gasped glancing at the bizarre shape of the present left for her by Gil. "Ooh ok though elves in cloaks is pretty much the stereotype but maybe thats because all the travelling ones wear them. But maybe thats a class thing if all you hugher up ones don't weat them much?" she wondered a little confused as she opened up her present "Ooh it's a staff I think. No wonder it was so heavy" she gasped failing to notice the book slide out the packaging next to her.

Hebal raised her eyeborw taking a look at the staff "Ooh now that something from Gil which means its probably something of real high quality. He got me this pretty scarf but he definately got you something more awesome" she added stroking her rainbow scarf "Just be careful where you point that indoors hehe"

Oassu chuckled "Well yeah that makes sense, surprised they'd risk attacking you since everyone must know you are so well guarded being princess and all" he said "I imagine he got a stiff jail sentence for that" he said leaning around the rider slightly to see what the lights ahead were.

Zadina nodded looking at Amane's staff "Well I imagine not all the gear Sir Gilgamesh finds in his travels turns out useful to him and a summoner primarily uses staves right?" he asked uncertainly noticing the book "You got a little something else there too Amane" he said picking up his own present though it was obvious by the shape that Gilgamesh had gotten him a sword "Hehe well I suppose it is something Gilgamesh has lots of too" he said.

Gil nodded "Yeah that cloak is pretty nice, plus it gives me something presentable to meet your parents in since I'm pretty sure they wouldn't appreciate me showing up in full armour and weapons" he said frowning slightly "Though I do miss my armour a bit, feel so unguarded out of it this long" he said.

Felina paused not having heard the story before "Well I hope they didn't hurt you and got punished severely for that. That said someone tried to rob me when I started out on my travels and I still felt really bad having to paralyse them for a week or three" she added quietly.

Corella rubbed her eyes and suddenly clutched the saddle, too focused on the light to notice the small turn ahead "Well I think get got some lashings ans a days in prison. Guess they figured the thief would have enjoyed the meals more than their usual food"

Satoshi laughed flipping the bacon up and onto Gil's plate "Well thats a shame because having your armour off can have some advantages" she flirted wrapping her arms around Gil's back. "Does it really surprise you that not all communities feel comfortable having fully armed strangers wander into town?" she also pointed out while she stroked his chest

Amane blinked looking at the sword now unwrapped properly "That there is a sword? But it looks so small and a bit thin to be a sword I think" she scratched her head looking at the weapon. "It's easy to carry I guess but what other presents have you got. I kinda wanna know whats in that" she encouraged unsure who would have wrapped the present in the bright red paper.

Hebal meanwhile picked up Merric and brought him over to join them with the presents "Hey there are fencer viera too who use these weapons so be nice. Besides this sword requires a lot of speed and footwork to be used properly and good for getting into tiny armour slots and holes if your clever" she defended the blade while she watched Merric tug at the golden string attatched to one present which was also coincidentally for Zadina from Alpha.

Oassu blinked surprised having never heard of such schemes before, leaning around the rider he spied the small wooden watchtower with torches blazing on the sides "Yeah I see it, though I don't know if cold stone jail cells provide better heating than cold stone tiles on the streets! he said hopping down from the horse at the earliest opportunity.

Gil chuckled "Seems early compared to most professions, guess it means you don't have to live a full life in servitude though" he said smiling "Though hope you left some for yourself, would feel bad if you didn't have any" he said as Satoshi emptied the beans into the pot "I take it both your folks are retired then?" he said

Zadina nodded "Doesn't Ardie use swords like this though Amane? Surely you've seen these before," he said sheathing the sword before pulling the present Merric was interested closer to himself "Hehe ok Merric you can open this one" he said encouraging the chicobo to open the present.
