He made a little thread and then a big thread and then nodded his little head. "It's like, less drawings are needed to pull the green out of me and then more. I don't really know how to explain it..." Then a glance up at Daddy. "do you?"

"But what if I want to make Rawr into a rock guy again or make my draithix or both together at the same time? Last time I did it I used too much and started to feel icky. But Rawr is really big. How do I know how much I need to use and when so I don't ever feel icky?" Because feeling icky just wasn't fun at all.

Zykariel watched and nodded to show that he did indeed understand. "No matter what, right?" Daddy answered yes to that and he, in his childish way, equated it with something he already knew. "Like how Mommy starts out with only a little bit of sugar and milk in the cookies and hten after you mix the dough a little bit then you add more but only if you need it? Okay, I can do that."

He glanced at the little space between his fingers and then tilted his head. "Though when I get big like you that means I'll be using more to start out wiht because the space between my fingers will get bigger, right? But that still won't make me feel icky...right?"

Zahara sighed and knocked on Malik's study door again, waiting. He was probably irritated over last night or still in reverie. It was sort of early after all. Hmm, maybe she should bring him breakfast? It was a little late now though wasn't it. Besides he might think she was actually trying to bribe him which was not the case. SHe would just stand in front of his door. Eventually he had to come out...unless he'd taken a kitchen and slew of servants in there with him.

"Not wrong persay Malik." She sighed, of course he'd be irritated with her. She stepped into the study and closed the door behind her. There was no way in hell his serfs or anyone else in this house was going to hear her request. Settling into a chair before his desk, she raised an eyebrow. "I know, you're ticked at me because I threw you out of your room and out of your bed. But it was for Piper's well being. Focus on that. Please...becasue I need something from you. Steel."

"Right." It was cute how children equated things out now wasn't it? Very very much so. Though Sevilin did rarely ever think anything was cute but Zykariel was the exception. But then another nod to his son, reaching up and ruffling his hair. "Right, when you get bigger, it will be the same, mostly because your body will adjust and such accordingly. You keep practicing with how much you're using. And you'll never feel icky again. Won't that be great?"

Kieran gave a chuckle, laying his sword across his shoulders and rested his wrists on the blade, looking down to his daughter who was in the dirt now. "You can take on a tier'dal and win but you still can't take your old man. Somehow I think this fact makes me giddy in a sense."

Piper got herself up, rolling back her shoulder. Really bothering her. "Well that's because we're bonded...it's not exactly easy to hit you. How come you get to hit me and I can't hit you?"

"Because while you seek to imitate a lethal blow, I see to imitate one that would momentarily cripple, stun, or be wholly non lethal to merely knock you into the dirt. That's how I bypass the bond."

She blinked. "Well...that makes sense. Good to know, next time me and Malik spar I can give him a little surprise. And now that I'm in on this fact...you're going to be the one in the dirt dear father of mine." Giving a giggle and bringing her sword up.

"A endevour which I will greatly wish to see come to pass."

Walking across the town Delaney stopped as she notice the Clinic where she had met Rusty for the first time. She debated on whether to go and speak to what was his name feline.

She pondered a bit and remembered the Vah's name. Moonstone it was and when she first saw him she had been surprised to see another feline in this underground world beside her and Rusty. She had learnt of Rusty through a connection in a far away town and was surprised even back then.

Delaney put a hand to her head to try and forget her thoughts and to brush away a bit of the fluster from her face. She took one last look at the clinic before walking away towards a decent hotel.

Once at the hotel she booked a room and decided to lay down for a bit of rest and to try and figure out what to do next.

"Almost... got.. it...." Rusty was up on a skinny branch of the tree where his map had been caught in a branch. He was stretching as far as he could to take a hold of the map so that he could keep going on his journey.

After much effort he finally grabbed his map. "Hurra-" were the only words that came out of his mouth before the branch he was standing on cracked and broke off. He fell down to the ground fast but landed on his hands and feet. He then tilted to the side and finally let himself rest on his side. He smiled at himself. He actually fell and landed like a cat.

He had his map now and his journey could go on.

"Nope. You proved that one to me when you started messing with her body when you weren't even in the same room. Probably through the bond you share or some such thing like that. I needed her to go straight to reverie and stay there all night. You would have talked to her, cuddled with her, distracted her. It was better that you weren't in there. Plus I wanted to monitor her and make sure everything was normal before I cleared her. Necessary evils, Malik. As a healer you need to trust what I say." She shrugged, "Not in steel. The profits I receieve from the business are in horseflesh, storage, supplies and such like that. The steel is to buy ingredients and rare plants. I couldn't really tell you how much but I would say a thousand to be safe."

He nodded quite happily. " I hate feeling icky so if you can make it so that doesn't happy I'll be real happy." He shoved his hair behind his ear and then practiced with his fingers and magic again. "Does it matter how many times I do this, Daddy? If I do it too much I won't feel icky either, right?"
