 For the first time in three years, Asuka stepped through the massive gate into the Village Hidden in the Leaves. The last time he had been here the cloud shinobi was only a chuunin and was coming under attack from a mysterious force before being pulled away for his Jounin exam. Asuka now returned to the Hidden Leaf for one simple purpose, and that was to get stronger. ”It’s been three years since I haven’t had a mission to worry about. It’s about time I got some training done.” Asuka knew he had not grown much stronger over the last three years, but indeed much more experienced and wise. He was no longer the child that everyone expected him to be, but you wouldn’t know it by his still brash fighting style. Asuka made a bee line straight to the largest training yard in the village. Asuka knew exactly why he was here and what he needed to learn. It was time for him to master the techniques only used by ANBU black ops shinobi. The cloud jounin pulled a large scroll from his bag as he approached the open training area. He set his bag down and unraveled the scroll across the ground so that the majority of its contents lay revealed to him. Asuka read through each entry of the incredibly powerful ANBU techniques that lay before him. He took about an hour to just sit in the open yard and read the giant scroll as he memorized every single instruction laid out in the paper. The cloud jounin would have never had this kind of patience three years ago, but he had learned many helpful traits during his time as a jounin. Finally after an hour of quiet study Asuka slowly and carefully rolled up the ancient scroll and placed it in his back pack with every word of it inscribed in his mind.  Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama looked out over the village, taking in a deep breathe. It had been three years, giving him time to develop and grow. He's developed his mind, his body, his patience, and his jutsu. He stood on the roof of a building for a moment, before jumping out onto another. There wasn't time to waste. There were only so many hours in the day, and he needed to make the best of them. He headed towards the leaf training grounds, intending to continue the perfection of his jutsu. As he approached, he could feel a chakra that was vaguely familiar. He moved into the trees and then down into the training grounds. He could see a man, clad in garments that made it clear they were another ninja. He approached calmly, certain he was at least a chunin in rank, if not more. Asuka had finally attained a moment of clarity as he prepared to begin practicing his jutsus when he was interrupted by a voice behind him. The cloud jounin turned around slowly to see a boy there. The boy did not seem to look familiar until Asuka saw his eyes. He knew those eyes, for they were the first thing he noticed about Shikarama when they met three years ago in this very village. The Nara boy’s eyes held an intelligence that vastly exceeded most ninja of his age. Asuka found it rather strange to see a familiar face here after having been gone for so long. The cloud jounin lifted his circular hat a bit so that shadow did not cover his eyes and Shikarama could see his full face. ”It has been some time Nara boy. I haven’t seen you since before I took the Jounin exam. You look well. I imagine you have achieved a lot in these last three years, for so have I. What brings you out to the training yard?” Asuka already knew the answer, and he knew that it would likely give him the opportunity he desperately wanted to have a fight just for fun as he used to do so many years ago. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius He crossed his arms, looking at Asuka. He appeared to be preparing a jutsu, but was quickly stopped as Shikiarama had spoken. He just looked to the man not recognizing him at first. However, he knew the chakra from somewhere. It took his a moment to remember, and he began to smile. Then, the man confirmed it, by revealing his features. It was the former chunin whom had been in the bar. "It certainly has, Asuka. You took the jounin exams? Judging from how much your chakra feels to have increased, you must have passed. I certainly have been developing myself. I've been working on bringing my clan's jutsu to a new level. As a matter of fact, that is what I intended to do here." He was happy to see a familiar face. And this could certainly help his training, perhaps they could get a chance to test their skills against each other. It had all worked out perfectly for Asuka. He realized this was a very beneficial situation for both of them. "Well then lets see what you've got boy. It's been a long time since I had a fight that didn't involve cheap shots or stealth. I'll go easy on you while you get warmed up though." That being said, Asuka took a fighting stance and waited for Shikarama to prepare himself or strike. He planned on making sure that this would be a fight that neither of them would forget.
Chakra surged through the Jounin's body as his thoughts thrilled him. Asuka wanted to release it all and show himself just what he was capable of, but he knew better. The cloud shinobi hurt Shikarama, so he held back his chakra surge, however tempting it was to let his curse mark run rampant, which had only happened a fair few times since he received it over three years ago. But Asuka kept his composure in his fighting stance, waiting patiently for his opponent.

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius He was surprised by Asuka's willingness. But his eyes quickly shifted into a concentrated, scanning, battle glare. "If you say so..." He began to gather his chakra. "But I warn you, I won't pull my punches." He suddenly reached into his cloak, raising out numerous shuriken and kunai. They appeared slightly odd, of a somewhat darker color then normal weapons. He tossed them into the air in front of him, not throwing them. He formed a quick hand seal. Wind Style: Multi-Pronged Trap. A large wall of cutting wind formed in front of him and fired forward. It carried the kunai, pointed at him, and shuriken. They aimed for him, as well as the area around him, even at the ground around him.A few flew towards his shadow. Asuka was rather impressed with Shikarama’s opening attack. It was a solid offense that would be difficult to dodge, making blocking the more practical solution. But the cloud jounin knew better than that. If even the shadows connected Asuka knew he would be at risk. He could not let that happen. Asuka drew his sword from Hidden Katana that he made himself and it sang a bright note as the blade left its sheath. Chakra immediately began flowing through the katana as Asuka spun around. Almost immediately an orb of spinning chakra engulfed the cloud shinobi and the kunai and shuriken bounced off harmlessly as the wind attack blew around him. When the offense was neutralized and Asuka glanced down to confirm that his shadow was not in contact with any projectiles, he knew it was time to attack. Since his sword was already in his hands the jounin figured he might as well use it. He side stepped out of the pile of thrown weapons and dashed towards Shikarama. When he had closed the distance he made sure their shadows were not in contact before his arms and sword became coated in a thin layer of what looked like clouds, making it incredibly difficult to see exactly where the attack was coming from. Asuka then slashed the blade downwards upon the Nara boy, wondering if he would be able to handle the melee attack. Quote: Technique Name: Shining Sword Rotation Description: When wielding Shainingu Hogosha, Asuka can hold the sword out parallel to the ground and begin spinning rapidly. As he does this Asuka pours chakra into the weapon, which creates a spinning orb of chakra around him. This chakra orb acts as a shield that blocks any projectiles or regular melee attacks. Only the most powerful of chakra based attacks can break the shield. This acts very similarly to Neji Hyuuga’s Heavenly Spin. After using this technique, Asuka must wait at least 8 posts before using it again. (No chakra cost) Cloud-Style Front Beheading - The user slashes forward to attack an enemy. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama watched in awe as Asuka blocked his attack with shear chakra. He noticed Asuka's shifting eyes. He showed caution towards the shadows, indicating he was familiar with his shadow techniques. Shikarama quickly drew his chakra blade trench knives. His eyes followed carefully as he ran straight at Shikarama. Shikarama formed chakra into his blades prepared to defend against the up close attack. The clouds formed around Asuka's arm and sword, blocking it's exact position from view. He wouldn't give him a chance to use it. He quickly grabbed a smoke bomb and tossed it towards Asuka's face as he reached him. It exploded to hide shikarama from sight, as shikarama jumped back from the range of the blade, and out of the smoke cloud. He quickly formed a handseal, as Shikarama could still see Asuka's feet. Shadow Possession jutsu His shadow shifted under him. Rather moving directly at Asuka, he sent it as thinly as he could through the shadows of the strings. As they moved past Asuka, the lines of shadow extended from the strings, they moved to circle around him, and get even the slightest touch on his shadow. 12536 SP/chakra Spendable skill points:13 Flying Nail Mist Pierce: 400/400 Quote: This is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. It's original purpose was as a skill to help delay any pursuers. After forming the needed hand seals, the clan member is able to manipulate their shadow along any surface. By using other nearby shadows they can further extend the reach of their shadow, however they are limited to the surface area of the original cast shadow. Once the clan members shadow reaches the target shadow, it will attach itself. While attached the target will be frozen, only able to replicate in mirror form the actions of the clan member. If the clan member is low on chakra, the technique will falter and the shadow will return to its normal form.

As soon as Asuka saw the smoke bomb he knew there was a problem. He did not even wait for it to explode before taking action. As smoke filled the area around the cloud jounin, he would use one of the oldest tricks in the book to simply disappear in a burst of speed. Asuka wasted no time in turning back on to the offensive. The jounin then reappeared just behind Shikarama, as always taking care to place himself so their shadows did not cross. But that did not matter for long. As soon Asuka arrived behind his opponent, his blade was coated in a large surge of white lightning, bright enough to ensure that there would be no shadows between the two of them. But that was not the electricity’s main function. Asuka brought his sword up and struck downwards at the Nara boy with his sword emblazoned in his signature white lightning. It would be impossible for him to block this attack physically, so Asuka knew that unless he had some crazy jutsu up his sleeve that dodging would be the only option. Which would be hard enough given the extension the lightning gave Asuka’s katana. None the less the cloud shinobi hoped that Shikarama would evade the attack. If he was strong enough for that then the fight could get really interesting. Words = 2,929 + 225 = 3,154 total Quote: Technique Name: White Lightning: Celestial Blade Description: Using his signature White Lightning Release, Asuka can make melee weapons far more deadly by channeling the sharpened lightning into the blade. When white lightning is channeled into a blade, the weapon is much sharper than before and the range of the blade is extended by about 6 inches. This technique allows the weapon to easily cut through stone and weaker metals. The nature of white lightning is quick and fleeting however, so once used this technique can only be held for 3 posts and then must cooldown for 10 posts before being used again. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius The moment that Asuka's feet disappeared from under the smoke, Shikarama knew what was going on. He turned. His head turned, glancing back as he quickly gathered his chakra. The sword, covered, extended, and enhanced by lightning sliced straight through him, apparently, blood appearing to fly everywhere. Then suddenly a puff of smoke engulfed his form. The illusion had been created in combination with the substitution jutsu. However, instead of a log, a flash bomb was used as his replacement. It went off in front of him, blinding his eyes, and producing and extending his shadow directly behind him. Shikarama appeared a few feet behind him. He held a handseal with one, and and partially covered his eyes with another. Asuka was beginning to see just how smart this boy was. When the flash went off the cloud jounin had been looking directly into it. He knew it would take a few seconds before he could see again, but he could not wait that long to make a move. So Asuka let out a battle cry as a ring of his signature white lightning formed around him and fired outwards in all directions at an incredible speed. He hoped Shikarama would be in range and would have to avoid the attack, but more importantly the brightly lit lightning would disconnect his shadow as it traveled outwards, if only for long enough for him to recover. Asuka knew he needed to move, but he still could not see very well. So for now he allowed lightning chakra to surge through his body as he activated his own off-shoot of his clan’s Flash Force meant for sword fighting, the Flash Blade. As Asuka’s sight began to recover, his blade still covered in white lightning, he knew he was prepared for whatever may come with his newly improved strength and speed. But for now he would have to wait until his nova of white lightning carried out its purpose in order to determine what he would do next. Words = 3,154 + 215 = 3,369 total Quote: Technique Name: White Lightning: Celestial Nova Description: Using his signature White Lightning Release, Asuka sends out a massive burst of the wicked fast and razor sharp lightning in several rings around him. This rings vary in angle but they do not reach above the user, so they only affect those that are vertically level with him. Within the area however, which is about a 10 meter radius from the user, it is very difficult to avoid given the speed of the white lightning and the multitude of differently angled rings. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama cursed under his breathe, gripping his trench knives and letting chakra flow through them. He ceased the shadow jutsu, and slashed forward with both trench knives, his wind chakra enveloping and extending from them. His blades cut through and dispersed the lightning rings that reached him, keeping him safe. Once the ring had been dispersed, He placed a hand on the reel under his cloak. He moved in a semi-circular path, rushing past Asuka, heading towards his weapons. He quickly turned the reel, drawing the strings in further as he got closer to them. He turned around quickly towards the cloud ninja. He formed a handseal as he began to gather his chakra again. He would need to use Asuka's strengths against him. He knew he wouldn't be able to out-last the man in chakra reserves. He would have to find a way to trap him so he could use his strongest techniques without a chance of failure. 12824 SP/chakra Spendable skill points: 301 Night Lightning Bolt - 301/800 Quote: Flying Swallow Technique: This is a Taijutsu technique in which the user feeds their chakra into their weapon to extend the length of the blade. An extra extension of invisible chakra will create a sharp edge that functions like the normal blade itself. Even if the opponent manage to avoid the metal portion of the blade, the chakra portion may cut into them as well. This jutsu was combined with the effect of the chakra blade and wind chakra.

 Shki ducked as a strange kunai flew past his head, moving in a bee line to the two fighters some distance away. Shki sighed as he kept his distance from the two as they continued to battle. He seemed to be acquiring a bad habit of interrupting fights. Shki loosened up his sickle and kept light on his toes, preparing just in case he was randomly attacked from the fighting two. " I feel as though I'm intruding a little more than I should" he said, scratching the back of his head with the blunt side of his sickle. 5074 SP/Chakra Spendable Chakra: 0 (I think) Words= 99 Total ((Sorry if I'm typing this is in wrong, I'm a little new))

Asuka could see that Shikarama was changing his approach. He was being far more physical than before to stop the Jounin’s attacks. The cloud shinobi decided switching up his tactic might be a prudent idea as well. So as Shikarama ran by Asuka sheathed his sword and flashed a few hand seals, causing three lightning clones to form around him before dashing at Shikarama. All three clones gained a sudden burst of speed and strength as they activated the Sinobi clan ability known as the Flash Fist. With this improved speed and power they began attacking from different angles. The first clone came straight on at the Nara boy and began unleashing a flurry of blows from both his hands and feet. The second clone came up around Shikarama’s left side and quickly ducked as he arrived before sending out a powerful kick upwards that would lift the boy into the air if it connected. The third clone leaped into the air during this and was now coming down on top of Shikaram intending to deliver a powerful kick downward. While all this was happening Asuka had no intention of sitting idly by. With a few more hand signs eight large and fluid beams of white electricity shot out from the Cloud Jounin’s hands and came around the Nara boy’s right side and even hooked around to his back with incredible speed. Shikarama was now being attacked on all sides with improved speed and power. If he could get out of this, Asuka would be extremely impressed. It’s not that Asuka didn’t notice the random little boy that had run up beside them. He simply chose to ignore him. For his Ryuugan eyes revealed that the boy posed no threat to him even on his best day. The cloud jounin’s focus would not waver from Shikarama. Words = 3,369 + 306 = 3,675 total Quote: [N] Lightning Clone Technique: This technique makes a clone using electrically charged chakra. The clone is also able to attack using only taijutsu moves that deliver shocks of electricity to the opponent's body with each landed hit. When the clone disperses it will launch an electric shock waves outward that will shock everything with a ten foot radius. :: 900 Skill Points x3 = 2700 chakra points Laser circus uses his Storm Release to create several bright beams of electricity that shoot at his enemy. A halo of bright energy spreads from Darui's hands as he uses this technique. However, the white lightning infused jutsu moves more than twice as fast as normal and is incredibly difficult to dodge, as well as dealing more physical damage, in the form of cuts and slashes from the wind chakra, than the normal base lightning jutsu would. Cost: original technique plus 800 Clone 1: [T] Flash Fist (( Clan Technique )) : A technique that actually causes invisible surges of electricity to surge around the hands like spikes. Although only a unseen manifestation of chakra, the Flash Fist works around the same style as the Flash Force, but has the added electrical ability to it, making it more deadly. It also, surprisingly lasts for a longer period of time, due to being an advanced technique. (6 posts; 8 post cooldown) (Requires Flash Force) :: 2000 Skill Points Action: 400 Skill Points This is a taijutsu technique used by Maito Gai. Gai will launch himself at his opponent and then use a barrage of strikes and kicks. Clone 2: Flash Fist, Konoha Super Strength Whirlwind: 800 Skill points This jutsu is a set-up attack for a stronger jutsu. It consists of a simple, but very fast, duck followed by a powerful upward kick to send the opponent flying. The user covers their foot with chakra to enhance the power of the kick. Clone 3: Flash Fist, Bruising Sky Leg: 1000 Skill Points This is a Taijutsu technique utilized by the Sannin Tsunade. Using her monstrous strength, Tsunade will raise her leg in a high arc, and bring it thundering down causing massive damage to whatever it impacts. If one of her kicks or strikes were to connect, they would kill a normal ninja. It was amazing that even after three years.. she always found herself back here. The Mythology village had pressured her to become more of ghost then what she already was..and she did so without a fight or without another word. She had gained so much knowledge of innerworking of so many different villages. Karokee however decided to go back to the Leaf village. They had the most wonderful smells and the most lovely looking people. While every village had their beauty..Leaf had the most vistors of all these people..so many faces and sizes to adjust too. She looked up to the beautful day that they had in Hidden Leaf..it was something that put a smile on her expressionless face. Karokee reached inside of her shirt pocket and pulled out her little golden notebook. She started to read through it to see what was on her events for the day.
"Let's see buy more kunais... Eat some BBQ...and buy more kunais. Full day we have today.."
Karokee started to walk down the streets of Kohona.. while the Federation was size wise bigger than what Leaf was.. Kohona was a meca of a city...it was always busting and full of life. However what caught her attention was the fight that was infront of her. She could feel the raw power of one of the warriors..it almost put fear in her heart to see somebody that she would be able to technique..with so much power. Besides her elders..she had never seen anybody fight on such a level. She sat down for a moment and pulled out a pencil and started to draw Asuka and Shikarama. She would have to remember them for the off chance that she would need to sneak anywhere. Karokee kept his eyes locked on the fight and then started to walk again towards her original destiantion. She walked to the kunai shop and she locked in the eyes of the shop owner. As her face started to shift into his she only pulled her wallet dropping a massive amount of cash on the table.
"I need that many kunais.."
She said iwth a smirk. He only handed her a handful of kunais and a few shurikens to date. She gave a smile and as she turned her back her emotionless nonface returned. As she started to walk to her favorite BBQ place.. however it appeared that they were blown up or it had at least seen better days. She walked to the sushi bar next though. She sat down at the coutner and ordered her food as she could feel the dark wind start to blow on the nape of one's neck. She sat there for amoment wondering if anything she would do would matter. However she stuck her hand through her hair and just sighed for a moment. T here had to be somebody else in the world...
