*Mystina fades in, her hands had been wrapped around a sword that she'd created out of energy, which was no longer there*
...wha?
*She blinked and realized where she was.*

*Mystina walked over to the bar and placed both hands over it, hopping up and onto the other side. She landed on the other side and began to look for water to drink*

*Mystina drinks down the water, and then hops over the bar again, and wanders to the door. She grabs her key and leaves the Brink to continue playing with her sword*

:::Cora emerged from the guest hall, she had tied her hair back in preparation for another long stay of study in the library, which she was stopping at the bar to prepare for with a bottle of wine and clean glass:::

**Enter Dafyd**
*Dafyd fades into the brink on his knees his arms outstretched to either side and his head bowed. He mumbles something too soft be heard under his breath*

:::Cora heard the mumbling behind her suddenly and she turned around... was he praying?:::
Excuse me. :::She interupted him, not realizing that it was rude. Though had she been aware she likely would have interupted anyway. Cora had little tolerence for it after everything:::

*Dafyd ignores her in any case and continues his prayer. When he finishes, his eyes snap open and he barks* What?
*Turning his head, however, his expression shifts from one of annoyance to one of surprise. He rises to his feet* Cora... forgive my tone... I thought you were someone else.

:::She stays where she is:::
It's alright. Just be careful with that sort of behavior in here, you might not get in touch with whatever it is you're trying for.
:::Then she goes and fetches the bottle she's looking for:::

:::She sighed. He was appearing regularly now from what she could tell... which was more than she noticed with Hajime:::
I don't know if anyone has explained it to you yet. There are forces at work here that are sort of at odds. If you're trying to reach heaven... this probably isn't the place to do it from.

*Dafyd smirks* One could say the same of anywhere in Prydn. The Danes worship one eyed crows, the Angles would sooner piss in the house of God as look at it, and that old b*****d Ceretic is such a fine Christian that he routinely sends good Christian men and women to the Picts. I hear the Picts pay in gold for such fine, God-fearing slaves.
Where in all of the earth is it safe for a man to pray? No man reached Heaven who did not first risk Hell. If I'm cowardly enough to renounce God and save my skin, why should He not renounce me?

I don't know... It probably depends on whether or not you're of any use. :::She sits down at the bar:::
I'm not going to pretend as if I know the difference between heaven and hell. But it seems to me like the lines between them are kind of blurry here. Ask the Captain when you see him next, he can tell you all about it.

That would be him... :::She nodded. After a moment she glanced to the floor and back up:::
Dafyd, also... it's only fair of me to tell you now that the forces I'm talking about are hostile to the people who appear here. I don't mean it to alarm you but there's an army of Seraphim who are interested in taking the Brink of Time for themselves.
:::She felt strange, referening to the Seraphim as though he were more than one person, but it was time she started:::
And they're willing to kill for it.
