with 'the show' over, Sage returned to staring down his current hurdle, the tree! after streaching out for a few minutes and warming up, he ran full steam towards the tree, and focused the vast majority of his remaining mental stamina into the soles of his feet, saving the rest to remain concious and functioning long enough to get onto a branch.
with a yell and a mad dash, Sage kicks off with each step on the tree, using his mental 'charge' in the soles of his feet to pull himself upward and back onto the bark with each step...after a few moments, he manages to come within grasping distance of the branch, only to miss the catch and fall to the ground, luckily landing on his feet and rolling a little bit, not breaking anything. okay.....one mad attempt at getting it in one go...NOT a good idea....lets see if I can lift my finger..... Sages finger twitched well.....thats good.....can I feel my toes.... Sages toes then twiddled a bit. toes, check, this means no spinal damage....okay...my muscles burn like hell....and I'm pretty much spent on mental energies....maybe a nap would be a good idea.....yea....a nap... and with that, Sage fell asleep, face down in the dirt and arms and legs sprawled out next to the tree.

Misa look towards the sky, at the almost setting sun. She winced slightly, and rubbed her back. "It is almost twighlight.. No wonder."

Fenris felt to gust go by and looked down the hall, seeing NEko's door open at the end. She blinked curiously, wondering if NEko was in there now. She walked towards Neko's office, soon noticing when she was cose enough, that Inx was in there. She stood outside the door and said, "Hello Inx."

Shiro walked over to Sage and picked him up.
Kid's had a rough day, attempting the tree climb on his first day of training. He needs a nap. We can finish this tomorrow. For now I'll let him regain his stamina. We'll head back to the dojo.
He carried Sage back to the dojo and laid him down on a nearby futon before getting back to the lounge and dozing off himself.

Both of his ears raised at the sides of his head.-
" ....Hello Fen! "

I guess I should be going now..
Even with her current situation, Misa seemed unhurried. She breifly bowed to anyone near her. "I have to take me leave." With that, her left leg stepped back and crossed around her right. Her body swiftly turned around leaving a shimmer in the air. A glimpse of something black and blue could be seen behind her. Before anyone could figure it out though she was already gone.

((well, this has constituted a much more productive day in a long long time.....but I'm going to be kicked offline soon, so I have to be calling it a night.... sweatdrop ))
As Sage dozed...his dreams:
*this time there are two sage's, and one tree, one sage sits back and watches the other one, while the other one keeps trying the tree...after another failed attempt at the branch, they look to eachother* well then bob, it looks like its not a failure in energy, but in technique....perhaps we need to maximize our usage of power, not the output....agreed, but how? wait, of course, while one of us channels the energy, the other one will study the channeling, and try to improve the efficiency bingo bobby lou! I thought it was bob er....yea, you know what I mean. of course I do, I am you after all.... yea....*they both laugh in harmony before bob goes back to the tree, the other sage watching intenly as the dream figure becomes an outline, his energy channeling highlighted* hmm....I see
((since I could probably write a chapter or so of this, and I dont have the time, I am going to assume you guys can fill in what the rest of sage's dream is.....and if you cant, a summary: he keeps trying to find ways to maximize the efficiency of his energy use, even though he's technically not using any since it's a dream.))

Fenris looked over at Inx and smiled a comforting smile. She walked over to him, still holding the book close to her. "Hello, Inx. How are you today." She was happy to see inx, her old friend, again, and she started to wonder if he too was waiting for Neko.

-Usagi's eyes caught fen's every movement. He still had his usaul dreamy gaze, unique to his race. He seemed more worn, however. Finally, Usagi slumped against the wall as he had done the other night, arms over his bent knees.-

Fenris sat next to Inx and layed the book on her lap. "I am too... I thought he was in here, but instead I found you." She smiles, poking Inx on the nose plafully, the looking at the book.

Fenris looked over at Neko and smiled, "Hello Neko." She said. She was hoping to finsih her conversation with him, but didn'tcare if Inx were to join in, actually, she would like him to join in anyways.
