Shadow nodded, it was a fair request but he didn't have much of a heritage being a third generation vampire. He was just glad she didn't ask about his past since that was one very, very long story even when reduced to the short version. "My heritage is short and simple. I am a cross between the Von Carstine line and the Necrarch line. One known for thier abilities to use 'magic' and the other for thier abilities in battle. There is little more for me to say on that subject. Only a third generation after all." Shadow said as they reach the gardens.

Maxine smirked then smiled when seeing the garden. It was quite beautiful, "Its...wow...its pretty nice..."
She smiled and fallowed him to wherever it was we were going to sit.

Shadow wandered deeper into the gardens before takign a seat on a bench. He patted a spot next to him, "Come, sit." He offered as he looked off to his surroundings for a moment. It was a beautyful night too Shadow, almost perfect.

Maxine sat down quickly and admired the surounding around her. She liked it very much.
"Who started this wonderful garden?" she had asked curiously.

Shadow shrugged, "I think it may have been the previous owner of this mansion. I never got to meet him, he killed himself a few months before I stumbled on this place. From what I hear he was a great man... if a little bit crazy. Either way, it is a an impressive sight to behold." Shadow said. He liked it here, the calm was something that he apreciated on ocasion.

Maxine sighed happily, "Would it be alright if I lean him head against your shoulder?"
She smiled and looked around even more. It was quite peaceful.

Shadow felt more relaxed than he had done in a while. At this piont he couldn't think of anything else to say. He was content now to sit in relative silence and just enjoy the company he had right now but he didn't want things to decend into totaly silence so he started to think of something to get a conversation going once more.

Maxine was also content where she was. She looked up at him, "Would you ever consider having another mate?"
She was curious and that was all.

"I always take my relationships seriously. Very seriously in fact. I just apear to have horrid luck with these things at times. " Shadow said seriously. He hopped that his point was made because he didn't know what else he could possibly say after this if it wasn't.
