Ted just waved a hand. "Enh. Not something I can change. Wait, I could, but then I would be a different person. Even with a demon in my head." It was at this point that Virgil decided to vie for dominance. "Well, you have to admit that it is funny in the long run, huh, squirt?"
"Shut up, Virgil. It was not funny. You didn't have to deal with guys hitting on you."

Hope blinked as she watched him wave a hand, then blinked again when Virgil began to taunt Ted a little. "A-ahh..V-virgil, th-that's not nice." she murmured, her fingers lightly fiddling with one of Ted's soft feathers in a nervous manner.

Virgil had the honor of becoming shamed. Ted let him take ove so he could express himself. "Sorry, Hope-chan. I hope you aren't mad." Ted face-faulted at the -chan added, but felt it oddly appropriate to the apology.

Lunch repast had come and gone, but the girls hadn't stopped for that. Now it was pushing for the evening meal. The watchers kept on staring at their dance of death. Though restrained it wouldn't take much to get them to go beyond practice and actually try to hurt the other in the mode they were in. Sphynix and Sionet kept clashing, both knew that they had each reached their limits.
In a clashing of their swords, they slide down to each others hilts and gave the look of let's finish this, before they pushed away from each other. Hovering there in the air, each catching their breath. Soon steeling both their backs, they did the honorary salute with their blades to the shoulder. And were slicing and slashing once more.
This time though their weapons were moving at incredible speeds that it was hard for the on lookers to even keep up. It was over in a matter of 30 seconds. Sionet kneeling and Sphynix leaning on her long swords. Standing up Sionet stood up and turned for all to see. On her right cheek was a thin cut that was bleeding. 'YOU win Sphynix you drew blood. I will tell you." Was all she said as she hide her wings again. Her skin once more that palid drained yellow.
Sphynix turned at this, wondering why Sionet didn't take the opening that was presented. She looked on at the woman before her just nodding her head. "MY master was a dual swordist like you. But he preffered to use two long swords or a long and broad sword. His name was D'ursitz D'munen" Was all Sionet said as she walked on by Sphynix and layed her wooden bokkoden on the table. It only had a few dings and nicks in it that would smooth out easily.
Walking still she passed the elders and Eda Uru who just watched her in silence as she left. Stopping at the door, she didn't glance back with what she said next. "I would love to sparr with you again. May be next time we can use other magical abilities as well." As she stepped out the door closing it behind her. She leaned against it, waiting for what was to come.
They all turned their looks on to Sphynix who still was confused as to why Sionet didn't take that opening. With a shrug of her delicate shoulders, she stepped forward. Her mind also reeling at who her former teacher was. They all heard a ripping sound, as her robe fell to the ground into the pieces it had been sowen from. this brought a bright red stain to her cheeks as she screeched out loud. "YOU BRAT! YOU DID THAT A PURPOSE!"
After hearing what Sphynix said Sionet trudged her way back to the house and to her room. Grabbing the Amulet she looked into it's depths. "Sir Xacvier Dragon. Do you have time to speak with me tonight?" Came her tired and soft query.

Hope hadn't expected Virgil to turn right around and apologize, but she offered him one of her shy yet sweet smiles. "I-it's alright, I'm not mad, but the person you should say s-sorry to is Ted." she murmured, her fingers still fiddling with the feathers.
Xavier heard a light sound in his sleep and stirred but didn't wake. Then a light coming from the amulet shined on his face in an irritating way, making him shut his eyes tighter before blindly groping for the object. When he had at last grasped it with one of his dark-skinned hands, he held it up near his face and opened his eyes while yawning. "Hello..?" he asked, seeing that it was Sionet and offering her a dazed, half-asleep smile.

A Weary and tired blush crept across her pale features. "Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to wake you. I just finished my second day of training. And wanted to see how things were progressing with you and the others. Sorry, so sorry didn't mean ... T... too... wa....AHHHHkkee you!" she said as she covered her mouth in a small yawn.
Her warm brown eyes glazing as she talked to her friend. She felt the ful effects of the battle now. Sionet knew that she would be taking a really hot bath before she slid into bed later after dinner.

Xavier watched Sionet through the amulet, resting his head in his hand as he did so. An oddly fond smile came across her face as she yawned while talking to him. "Hmm, it appears that the last two days have really taken a toll on you.." Xavier was somewhat awake now as he watched the blushing Sionet through the amulet. He chuckled lightly before speaking to her again. "Now now my dear, no need to apologize; I have been sleeping for quite a while, it's about time I woke up." he said, his beautiful purple eyes burning through her even though he wasn't truely there with her. "Tell me, my dear, if you are so tired, why do you contact me instead of resting..?" Xavier was curious as to why she had chosen to speak with him, wondering if she favored him in any way or if it had already become a habit.

Blushing a little deeper at his comments. "oh ok... and sleep isn't that bad of a deal. And the reason's I am not sleeping is because I haven't eaten. Not taken a ba..... well any ways still in my clothing from training. And thought to let you know that in two more day at the least to come and visit. If that is alright with you." She said still smiling while covering another yawn.
Her eyes lighting up a little showing warmth though they looked a little sunken. "Oh yea, when i sleep there is a restoration spell going on. It isn't a widely used healing magic, but by the time 8 hours of sleep has been had, your body is at 100% though there are some draw backs." She said as she thought about the wafting smells of food. Her stomach gave a audible growl to let her know she was starving.
blinking in surprise at the vocal announcement from her stomach she spoke soft aloud to herself. "Oh that is right I haven't eaten since this morning. I got so caught up in my practice sword fighting with Sphynix, we went right through lunch!" she said as she reached a hand up to face and wiped at the thin line of blood on her cheek.

Xavier couldn't help but grin a bit at the increasingly dark blush on Sionet's cheeks, listening intently to what she had to say. He caught her almost saying bath, his eyebrows raising before he spoke again. "Oh..? Is that so?" he said, grinning slightly more. "Of course, I'd love to visit..." Xavier said, his voice lowering to a soft yet inviting purr. His head tilted slightly when she mentioned the restoration spell, his jewelary softly jingling from the bit of movement as he watched Sionet with burning curiosity. "Intreguing, I would like to hear more about your talents with magic sometime." after he spoke he heard her stomach growl and couldn't help but let his warm and boisterous laughter ring out, his jewelary clanging quietly as his body shook with the laughter. When she touched the cut on her cheek Xavier's laughter abrubtly stopped, his eyes burning through the amulet as he sat up. "The blonde woman with hardly any clothes did that..?" he asked casually, his lips pressing into a tight line afterwards; clearly he was unhappy at the thought.

Her blush spread from her cheeks down her neck in embarrassment. She was not used to this kind of joking. Well hell this kind of attention in general, it made her realize just how sheltered she was. "OH this magic isn't mine, the elders set it up, so they could push me to my limits, break them. And them build them up stronger." she said stuttering a little.
Tilting her head at his next sentence she narrowed her eyes reflectively. She thought how best to answer that one. "As for my talents and magic... I don't like using them. So I have no stamina and tire quickly. I would just prefer to be a doctor healing people. I enjoy that. But when I need to like the day you meet me, I used them. Hence the reason for my harsh training. I will need my abilities more then ever with the paths I will cross in the future." she said as her eyes took on a painful distant look of sadness.
"Mmmmm yea we got into it really well. The deal was first to land a blow would get pacific information from the other. I let her land this one. But I had retribution in the end. I have a great swords master before her.... one of the best dual swords men ever. He taught me sword flash, safe to say when i left the room. She went to place her weapons on the table her seams on her robe fell apart in front of several people. I don't like being under estimated. She learned that one the hard way." She said in an amused voice. Her soft rose petal pink lips curving softly lighting her face gently.

Xavier gave another hearty laugh as Sionet turned even redder; it was too much fun, just the slightest little poke made this innocent girl have such strong reactions. He smiled as he stared into the amulet, watching her lips as she spoke to him. "Hmm, I see.." he said as he let himself lay on his stomach. "That's all very interesting, I would like to hear more about you sometime." Xavier thought for a moment or so before getting an idea, a grin starting to spread at the thought of it. He held the amulet in front of him with both hands as he stared into it. "Oh Sionet, dear." he said, and as soon as he caught her attention again he quickly pressed his lips to the amulet as a playful kiss. "Mwah!" the mischevious dragon could hardly wait to see what her reaction would be, seeing as how just changing the way he spoke to her made her blush from head to toe.

She had been pulling the dagger pins from her hair while he talked, When his voice changed tone, she yanked them free to pay attention. As her hair cascaded down in a light forest green mass of curlz she saw him kiss the amulet. Shocked to the core, her blush went from the roots of her hair to the tips of her toes. Which were now very visible since she dropped the amulet to the floor.
"u... ummm! Aaahhhhh haaa! I ... ummm whatt... ddaaaa was that ....uhh.. *looks away from floored amulet* that that fo...... for!" she stammered quite loudly. Her surprise very evident in the fact that her brown eyes were a lighter shade of the forest green her hair had turned.
Reaching down to pick up the amulet she just stared with few blinks every now and then at Xavier, not really sure how to speak or react. Just feeling really really shy.

Xavier rolled at her reaction, quite literally; he was laughing so hard that he was rolling around on the ground, and he could barely hear what she had said. He looked into the amulet, trying to control his laughter but the black look of shock and her red face set him off again. Finally he managed to calm down, nearly gasping for air afterwards. "You should have..! You should see what you look like! You look-" Xavier then blinked, the laughter suddenly gone again; the look on her face, her blush, the sudden change in her eyes and the way her hair fell over her..Xavier then shut his eyes and quickly shook his head, his jewelary jingling as he tryied to rid his mind of some of the inappropriate thoughts he was now having. "Hmm..purely beautiful..." he muttered, using one of his dark-skinned hands to massage his temples. Xavier hadn't really expected such a reaction from himself towards Sionet, so really his own little game had somewhat backfired on him.

"uhhh i don't really get what was so fun...funny Sir Xavier Dragon. But I guess I am glad that I made you laugh... quite a bit. And thank you for the compliment. Though I don't think I am anything special to look upon." She said as she tilted her head to the side again, as her eyes slowly faded back to the warm brown color.
"Well I guess I should go and get ready for dinner and bed. I have another busy day tomorrow..... and that training isn't something I want to look forward to." she said softly as she stood the neck of the robe slide a little off her shoulder. Catching it before something embarrassing and improper could happen she nodded her good bye and closed the link.
Threading the chain through her hair so it rested against her fore head she wandered behind the screen to run some hot bath water. when her copper tub was full to the brim almost she slide in and gasped as the heat hit all the sore spots on her back muscles. Sinking in lower she let herself soak for an hour before grudgingly pulling herself out and putting on a light gauze robe adn going to dinner.
She was met with several approving gazes and one dark glowering one of hatered. nodding she sat down as the meal was served. IT was a silent meal no one really wanting to say anything for the one sided tension being exuded from Sphynix, who for some reason couldn't meet Eda Uru in the eyes when he looked at her, his face slightly stained in a blush.
