Yami followed the three onto the train and sat a few seats away from them. Oddly enough, they did not find it suspcious. A smile was present underneath the darkness that hid his face. Shiro, Suijin, and Bryni looked as if they would all make a great family. He waited and nonchalantly watched them until they all fell asleep; unable to sleep to keep his disguise, he waited more..
Immediately after the group passed him, the man quietly stood and slipped into his buddy Shiro's shadow, unnoticed. It was so much easier to shadow someone when you could be so literal about it. Through the shadow, he listened in as Suijin explained more in detail of their reasoning for being there. It was the same reason as himself.

"Eh? So it's a government thing? Politics aren't really my thing so I do't know what kind of stuff the government here is doing. But if something doesn't feel right then it's usually not." He said quietly, not wanting others to hear the conversation, and not wanting to wake Bryni either. The hair on the back of Shiro's neck stood up and he glanced behind him, but saw nothing. Brushing it off as his imagination he continued, nodding at Suijin's suggestion. "Sounds like a plan. We can discuss such sensitive matters in the privacy of a room. Maybe over some room service?" He said with a wink as he leaned over to kiss Suijin lightly, now remembering that he was carrying a little girl as his balance was thrown off and he had to pull back from the kiss or risk falling. "Eh, maybe not. Hard to be romantic with a kid around." Shiro said chuckling a bit as he readjusted himself and Bryni, careful not to disturb the little one.

((Wow, I didn't even realize it's been this long. I'm so sorry. crying ))
Suijin awaited a kiss but chuckled at Shiro when she saw he was unable to give one. 'How can he be romantic at a time like this?' she thought to herself. "She's not too heavy is she?" Suijin asked him. It's only been a few minutes since they arrived, and a little longer more before they go to the hotel.
The bus arrived in front of the group. People began boarding the bus when confirmed where the vehicle was headed. Suijin got on and headed towards the back where there were less people and sat down, making room for Shiro and the little girl he was carrying.
"What a pretty little girl!" an older woman exclaimed as the two sat down. "Children are such fun, aren't they? I have seven!"
"Oh, she's not-" Suijin began to explain but was interrupted by the woman.
"She must be tuckered out from a long day, huh?" the woman said with a laugh.
"Y-yeah. We went on a trip..." Suijin replied. She glanced at Shiro and Bryni. "I can barely handle this one, I can't imagine having seven kids."
"It's good to be calm and understanding. Oh, this is my stop. Sorry! It was nice talking to you!" the woman smiled happily and waved to them as she left the bus.
"Good Hyne, seven kids." Suijin said, almost in disbelief, waving to the woman from the window as the bus moved on. Just a few moments later, and the bus stopped again. This time, it was the trio's stop. They got off and walked into the grand lobby of the hotel.

"Naw she's like a feather. I just didn't want to bump her into you when I kissed you." he said chuckling a bit. As they boarded the bus Shiro sits down with Suijin, relaxing into the chair and taking it easy, his attention grabbed by a woman suddenly. He simply chuckled as Suijin took this one, goign along with the whole thing and letting the woman talk about kids. Once she left Shiro just smiles, nudging the red eyed cutie a bit. "Heh heh, maybe not seven. But I can see us with a few. Maybe you and I should go ahead and get married and start our own family when this is through." He said half joking, half not as they entered the hotel. Holding Bryni in his arms made him think about it, and seeing the faces of their potential children was nice.
((ack, me too ))

((Is Yami going to show himself to them before going to the hotel room, or are you planning something? xP))
"A-a few? Married?" Suijin's face turned red. She could sense his joking tone but still, the thought of it made her think of the possibility... and the process of it, which is why she became shy all of a sudden. Trying to recover, and make it not-so-obvious, she looked at Bryni. "Maybe." she said, also in a joking manner.
They reached the counter inside the hotel and requested for a room.
"One bed?" the woman behind the counter asked, ready to reach for a key.
"No!" Suijin said quickly, a bit flustered, "Two... two beds. Please."
The woman apologized with a smile and then gave them a key for a room, "There is also a restaurant down those stairs to your right. Please enjoy your stay."
"Thank you..." Suijin said. "Are you feeling hungry?" she asked Shiro.

Shiro just smiled and nodded at Suijin's answer, her flustered reaction a clear sign that maybe she wasn't quite ready to discuss that sort of thing. Though to be fair, he was also kinda joking himself. Now up at the counter Shiro turned a little red at the woman's assumtion, and just chuckled a bit as Suijin shot back immediately. "Yes, two beds please." He said after her, smiling when they got the key. "Hmm, a bit. But I think we should put this little one to bed first and wait. Or get it delivered to the room, what kind of parents would we be if we left her in the room alone?" He said with a wink, kissing Suijin lightly on the top of her head.

"She might be hungry, too." Suijin said, gently shaking the little girl's shoulder as she called her name a few times. "Bryni, we're going to go eat..." she said, and the child finally woke up.
Bryni opened her eyes wide and nearly toppled herself out of Shiro's arms. "Food?!" The two quickly reacted and kept a hold of her so she wouldn't fall and hurt herself.
"Are you hungry?" Suijin asked, although it didn't seem like she needed to.
"Yes!" the little girl wriggled herself out of Shiro's arms and landed safely on the ground, then did little hops. "Food, food!" Bryni held out her moomba doll and made him hop around too.
'How is she so energetic when she was just fast asleep?' Suijin thought to herself, a bit surprised by the kid's behavior. "Are we not her parents? Bryni is practically a mini you." Suijin quipped, to Shiro's earlier comment.
"All right, all right. Let's go." Suijin said. They walked down the set of stairs that led to a few tables and booths, and a stage with a piano stood in front of the room. The place was empty so the three were able to sit where ever they wanted.
They chose a booth to sit at and a waitress approached them. "What can I get you?"

Shiro just laughed as Bryni nearly vaulted out of his arms upon waking up, watching her hop around happily with her doll. it was pretty much the cutest thing he'd seen in a while. "Heh heh heh, you're right. She does have a certain maximum flare to her doesn't she?" He smiled the rest of the way down to the tables, walking close with Suijin more thoughts of children buzzing in his head making him blush a little looking at her from time to time. When they finally sat Shiro did the only thing that came natural at a time like this and started playing with a couple of straws he'd snatched up on their way to the table. "Anything with meat, nice and rare." He said not looking up as he tried building a pyramid with them. He peered up slightly to catch Suijin's eyes and stopped playing, turning to face the waitress properly, wanting to be on his best behavior. "A-and some veggies I guess."

Bryni sat in between the white-haired couple in the booth. She was immediately interested in whatever Shiro was doing with straws and watched him. After Shiro glanced at Suijin and finished his order, she had to give a little snicker.
"Ew, veggies!" Bryni scrunched up her face and stuck her tongue out.
The waitress smiled while facing the girls. "What would you like?"
"I'll have... fish and a bowl of noodles also with some vegetables, please. What do you want, Bryni?" Suijin replied.
"I want a grilled cheese samwich and fries! No veggies!" Bryni said, bouncing in her seat.
"Mhm, all right. I'll be right back." the waitress wrote down their orders with a friendly smile and left.
Suijin looked around the room with a high ceiling, then to Shiro and Bryni who were playing with the straws. "This is nice." she said, temporarily forgetting why they were there in the first place.

"I'll say. The straws back at the garden don't stack this well." Shiro said as he concentrated on making a taller box like structure with Bryni, but it fell apart making them laugh. "Heh heh, it is nice." He said as he leaned over Bryni to give Suijin a light kiss, sitting back properly as he patted the little girl's head. "Some day maybe we can look forward to a life like this. Once all the adventuring is done you know? Heh heh heh, when I'm all old and tired you can tell me all about your adventures right kiddo?" He asked with a smile looking from Suijin to Bryni, Shiro had pretty much forgotten why they were there as well. He'd even forgotten that Bryni wasn't even suppose to be there, things were pleasantly peaceful right now.

"I want to go on lots of adventures with you!" Bryni exclaimed to Shiro.
In Suijin's mind, adventuring was more like a job than anything when it comes to being a SeeD. Maybe she would enjoy having a simple life without adventures? She never imagined her life without weapons, magic, fighting... what would it be like? The little girl knew what it was like but still was excited to go on adventures. Oh, to be young.
Things for them were peaceful. The three of them sat in the booth, playing with what they could find on the table as they waited for their dinner to arrive. However, the peace wouldn't last. They soon heard loud clanking from beyond the stairs, and the noise was getting closer. Suijin brought her attention to the staircase as Galbadian soldiers came storming into the room. The soldiers stopped at a distance from the booth the three of them were at, with their weapons drawn. Bryni shrieked and held onto Shiro.
Suijin stood up. "What is the matter of this?" she commanded the soldiers.
One soldier with red under his armor came forward. "We have been tipped that you are Balamb Garden spies."
Suijin was surprised but didn't let it be shown. How could anybody know? None of them were wearing the Garden's uniform. "We are a family just trying to have a peaceful dinner." she said.
"Do you expect us to believe that? Take them." The red soldier commanded the other soldiers.
Suijin clenched her fists. This wasn't going the way she had hoped and this was quite unexpected. Since they were found out, she wasn't about to let the soldiers lay a hand on them. She raised one arm, "Blizzarra!" Ice formed around the soldiers in the room, but only for a moment. "Let's go!" she told Shiro and Bryni.

Looking forward to the nice meal with his girlfriend and their young companion, Shiro was enjoying the fun they were having together. It all seemed like the perfect night out, as much as Shiro loved adventuring this was very pleasant as well. But of course, their fun was spoiled by some soldier types who decided to storm the hotel they were in, closing in on them. Shiro shot up as Suijin stood, putting himself in front of Bryni as he looked at them angrily. He glanced at Suijin for a moment, spies? But the family story was quick thinking on their part, it was very believable if nothing else. The way they were interacting together, how could you think otherwise? But the red soldier, clearly the leader, didn't buy it for a moment. Shiro was about ready to explode in a fit of rage, ready to charge at the men who would point a gun at a child when Suijin used her attack to cover their escape. He wanted nothing more than to break them with his fists, but he looked behind him at Bryni and nodded with a frown. Scooping her up quickly and kicking off the ground he took Suijin's hand and bolted for the exit. "Keep your head down and hold on kid." He said to the little girl he held close to his chest. "I don't know this area that well, you lead honey."

Suijin nodded, although she didn't know the city that well either but she'll wing it. Bryni was swept into Shiro's arms and she clung onto him tightly. The three of them ran up the staircase and into the lobby where a few other soldiers were waiting. Suijin cast a thunder spell on them and the soldiers fell to the floor. The trio can't stay at the hotel since they came looking for them there, they will have to get away from the building. Suijin lead Shiro outside where it was busy. Suijin bent her knees so that she could be hidden by the people walking the streets, and motioned to Shiro to do the same. Weaving in and out between citizens, the three made their way down the street and around a corner. Once they were far away enough from the hotel, Suijin found a dark spot to hide and rest for a moment.
"Are you okay, Bryni?" she asked the little girl who nodded.
"What's going on?" Bryni asked them, clearly scared from what they just went through.
Suijin brought her index finger up to her lips, "If we're caught, we're in a lot of trouble." she explained quietly. Only, it would probably be worse. If they're caught then they'd be in trouble with Deling City, Galbadia, AND Balamb Garden for their unauthorized visit.
After a minute in the shadows, Suijin looked around. It was clear. She walked along the wall and then... a clearing. A wide, paved clearing. With tons of soldiers. "There they are!" was all one soldier had to say to get the attention of all of them. Now Suijin had wished she brought along her staff for an easier fight.

Shiro followed close behind Suijin, it was unusual for him to take this tactic and a big guy swerving around with a little girl in his arms was a tad awkward, but he managed. He didn't know what was going on, and thought that maybe Suijin knew more than she was letting on, but now wasn't the time for that. Duckign into the shadow with her Shiro took a moment to breathe, setting Bryni down. "Big big trouble it seems. But don't worry, we'll keep you safe." Shiro said with a smile and a wink as he patted the young student on the head and ruffled her hair a bit. Still Shiro was a bit concerned, without a staff guarding against bullets was gonna be tough, and guns seemed to be the standard for these guards that marked them as spies. Well, so long as they stayed out of sight it shouldn't matter. And if worse came to worse, he always carried his knuckles in his back pockets. Quietly he followed Suijin, holding onto Bryni's hand as they went around the corner along the wall with Suijin, who was pretty much leading this expedition. And as they got to the clearing, Shiro lightly pushed Bryni behind him, looking at the many soldiers looking at them. "Well, so much for not being seen." Shiro said with a chuckle. Lots of soldiers, lots of guns, two of them. Seemed well enough, except that they had a little one with them. Shiro's blood boiled at the thought of a man who could point a gun at a sweet little child, but he shook his head as the voice of reason spoke in his head.
"Calm yourself Shiro. Think this through, for the little one and for the one you care about" Ifrit growled in. Though beastly, the fire demon was not without experience. "You know what you have to do as a man."
Shiro nodded, taking a step forward as he looked around, hands up in the air. "Alright alright lets just calm down." He said as he walked next to Suijin and whispered to her. "Run when I tell you, and don't stop. Keep her safe." He said. As he looked at her he smiled kindly, but his heart was beating as he lightly pushed her back a bit as well. "Now!" He called out, feeling heavy hearted as he used his palm to shove Suijin roughly back towards the shadow spot, a green bubble surrounding him as he cast protect on himself. Gunfire rang out as they started to fire due to his sudden movements, but as they did Shiro winded up smashing his fist into the wall causing it to crumble, the cracks going high and causing the stones that made it to tumble down in a pseudo rock slide. The ornate stone structure connecting that wall to the one adjacent also crumbled tumbling down from the force, and the ruble made an effective blockage that separated the clearing with the Soldiers and Shiro from side that Suijin and Bryni were on. Not much could be seen from their side, but continuous gunfire could be heard as it pelted the wall of debris.
