"The only thing stopping us is me, you, and our properness." Grinning, he got an arm around her again, pecking her lips. Looking back up to the stars, he sighed. "We should probably get back." Yawning, he nodded. "Yes, let's get back." His gaze falling back on her, he whistled and Syrva walked up next to him. "I'll race you home," he smirked.

"I'll win." Amaya laughed and then jumped on Crow, taking off into the woods. She soon reached the stables and she jumped off the horse letting a stable boy get the horse as she waited in the dark for Syrva and Roran.

As she whizzed off, he smirked, getting on Syrva. "She doesn't know you're the fastest horse in Syra." He patted her neck. "Crow canhave a head start." After a minute or so, he kicked Syrva to speed off. But as the darkness of the forest took them in, Roran and Syrva got lost. Slowing her down, he looked around worriedly. "Hey girl, you wouldn't by any chance know where we are..." As Syrva shook her head, he sighed. "Well, maybe we should just walk around now. I don't want to make everyone worry over me."

Erika heard footsteps and a voice outside of her door, even if they were quite faint. Opening the door, she looked left and right, seeing a man. Walking over she examined him. "Excuse me, are you okay?" With a worried, concerned look on her face.

Running through the forest, Saber smelled Syrva and Roran. He didn't smell Amaya, and that worried him as he ran to where they were, barking a little. Keeping back so Syrva wouldn't become startled, he let them know he was there.

Seeing the wolf, he stopped Syrva. "I recognize you. What was your name....oh! Saber! Do you know where we are?" He asked, Syrva seeming calm around the wolf.

The wolf nodded his head as he looked at Roran and then turned to walk into the woods, barking at him and Syrva over his shoulder to follow.

As the wolf nodded, he smirked. "I know some smart creatures." Kicking Syrva to walk behind the wolf, he sighed. "Well girl, it looks like we lost the race," he laughed. "We'll get Crow and Amaya next time."

Saber led them back to the stables where Amaya was waiting. Confused, Amaya walked up and petted the excited wolf, praising him. "You two get lost?" She asked them.

Nodding, he sighed. "Apparently we aren't goo when racing in the dark." Laughing, he poked her nose. "So you and Crow here win this round. Next time though, don't expect to win just because we get lost." Winking, he kissed her cheek as he walked passed her. "I'm heading to bed. I'm kinda tied for tonight."

"That's too bad. But Crow and I will make sure to beat you in the next race as well." Amaya laughed. "Goodnight, sweet dreams." she called after him. She'd be lucky if she got any sleep tonight. Saber pulled on her dress gently and she brushed him away. "I know. Give me a moment." She told the wolf as she slipped out of the clothes she normally worn when going on missions and dawned a new outfit that no one had seen before, burning her old clothes. This new outfit was a large red tunic and black pants, with a red cloak. She tied her hair back and pulled the hood over her head. A stable boy brought her a tan horse instead of Crow and the queen mounted the horse, kicking it to a gallop as Saber led them off into the forest.

Heading up to his room, he practically fell into bed. Pulling the covers up and getting himself comfortable, he was asleep very quickly.

The mission last all night and by daybreak, Amaya had still not returned. Saber was badly injured and could not move, the horse Amaya had brought ran into the woods never to be seen again, and the queen herself, lay on the forest floor near Saber in a pool of her own blood from a stab wound. A fallen tree lay on the two and they were still a couple miles from the castle, not a trace of them left behind.

Having woken up, he walked around the castle. Having poked his head into Amaya's room, she wasn't there. Expecting her to be in the castle somewhere, he asked a few maids where she was. When one of them told him she had been out all night and hadn't returned, he got worried. Walking out to the stables, he took Syrva out, going out in search of the queen. Wandering around for a long time, he passed a few fallen trees, but had no sight of Amaya.

Waking up finally, Amaya groaned and looked around. "Damn I lost..." She sighed, as she looked over, seeing Saber. "I'm so sorry my friend...We weren't able to complete our mission before this tree fell on us..." She apoligzed to the wolf, extending a bloody hand to his head so she could stroke him, though they were both pinned under the tree. She sharply inhaled in pain, feeling the stab wound in her shoulder. "I don't know how we're getting out of this one." She laughed bitterly.
