Quinn gawked as they talked. "Wait, gun-battle? Sniper range?!" Oh, man, what has Tolly gotten me into now? "Are you guys fugitives or something? Some sort of resistence group?"
His mind was still tied up in knots. One minute, he's working on a ship, the next he's made to pilot it into some giant dogfight. At least he was now getting a fresh supply of air to his brain.

"Well..." Kayako directed her attention a third way, to their new pilot-guy "I wouldn't call it resistance per se. Me, Asuka, Rain and Gray there are all fugitive experiments. Medri's a hacker, and Reiku pretty much hates the ground the UF walks on. We're just sort of a bunch or renegades."
Yup, more Kayako-logic. It would've seemed absurd, had Asuka not been nodding the whole time to signal it was all true.

He watched as they all spoke he then nodded." Got that right kayako." He crossed his arms and walked towards twilght where some people where doing work on it. he over heard one groaning." This dam LFO is so weard it has so much stuff I never saw and where did he get these parts was his father a mechanic!?!?" Reiku gave a small smile."Yes my father was one before he died I finshed it got a problem?"

Great, I'm on a ship with a bunch of lab-ratty guinea pigs. "Okay, ya know what? I never should've asked." He rolled his eyes. "If the UF catches us, look, I'm not associated with you people. I was just the pilot."
He crossed his arms and peered into Kayako's eyes as a statement of finality. Sure, it wouldn't do him any good, but at least he'd look somewhat neutral.

Medri was in daze thinking about what all he can do with the ship... He smiled and then gave kayako a blank smile. "I am going to work on the ship's programing... don't touch anything I will be working on, you might fry it." He dove into jenny and came out halling more then his fair share of tool and gloves and other weird doodads. "MWHAHAAHAH.." Medri just ran into the ship seeming unphased by the large pack and the heavy weight. " I am gunna get this think fully automatic!"

Nic just stood there and watched everything unravel. She could see what she had walked into, and was ready for it knowingfully what she would have to do. Placing her hands in her pockets she could feel the book that was also in her pocket. Nic held onto it while she listened to the conversation.

A noise was all ready hear from the ship construction site... Medri was kicking people out of a section of the ship so he could 'Wire' it up. It was the room he was going to make into the secruity room, and he was finding no end to the stuff he could complain about. "What hell you guys doing to this poor computer! Don't put it there!" THe crazied hacker might be worse then kayako when computers that will more or less be his was involved, he will end up driving the crew insane with him profectionism.

He could hear Medri screaming, he burst out laughing at what was going on, he turned and walked on board toward's where all the LFO's where gonna be. A couple workers where trying to screw on a few peices and these guy's coudent do it he sighed and grabed a drill." HEY MORON'S MOVE!!" he went up on the machine and started to screw on the few plates with ease. he jumped off and walked away leaving the two workers to yell at each other for droping the wrench they needed, he walked off the ship and back towards Tolly." god that ship is huge." he smiled."

"Yeah, Actually it is. We tore alot off the main frame to size it down but the whole things still big enough for whatever is needed.
Also, the launch hangers have been made into one big one. There's a main landing pad from the rear of the ship. The LFO's can be docked along the left and right walls. Trigga will be adding launch doors on the sides. If it works like my designs are layed out then you'll be able to launch all the LFO's from the left and right hatches at the same time. It's an improvement the UF hasn't tried yet."
Looks at Reiku. "Hey, that's pretty good. Listen, why don't you start working on the bridge area. The window's still need to be put in and there alot of welding to be done on the front of the ship. Just be careful and take your time."
Tolly turned to Nic then. He knew she would be going with them. It seemed inevitable that she would. Ever since she had returned to his base he had the feeling she was looking for somewhere else to be. It was a shame really. Somehow Nic had come to be almost like family to him.
Walking up to her he put his hand on her shoulder,"Are you sure this is what you want? You know.. It's not going to be the same without you around."

Nic turned and smiled at Tolly "I never know what I want. But this feels right...and don't worry I'll stop by from time to time, when I get a ride of my own that is." she said turing back to see everyone either yelling at someone else or doing something and making it look important. Then she let her eyes wander to the sky and she held tightly to the book, and sighed.

He looked up as well, "It will still be a week or two before the ships ready to travel to Trigga. If... if you need anything. Well, just let me know okay."
He took his hand off her shoulder then and looked back to the group. Medri was doing fine. He was relieved to see someone competent being added to the construction job. Reiku was an unexpected bonus too.
All around he felt things were getting better. Looking over to the mercury though the mood seemed much different. The boy they called Gray seemed to removed to talk.
He'd leave him for now.
"I'm sorry Kayako. Did you say caught? By who?"

Seeing as she didn't know anything about mechanics, Kayako had quietly walked back over to Senturi and climbed up, lounging on it's shoulder as the girl often did.
"Who do you think Tolly?? She ran into a ship that took her...back to the foundation....those idiots escaped under KLF fire so I couldn't get to it in time...."
'This is taking way too long...' she thought 'Did I hear him say we have to g somewhere ELSE?? ARRGH! Rain could be DEAD by then, are these people insane??'
At that thought, the purple-haired girl rolled over on her stomach and let her hair fall over her face. No one needed to know what she thought right now. They could all focus on building the ship...maybe they would move faster if she didn't make them all mad like she usually did.
'She will be fine....This one knows Eden will watch out for her...'
'That doesn't keep me from worrying you know. Those people are MONSTERS...if we don't save her no one will...'

Tolly was very quiet. He walked over to the Senturi and looked up at the young girl.
"She's in Warusawa."
There seemed to be a million thoughts running through his head. None of them good. Letting out a long sigh he shook his head.
"I'm sorry. The ships not ready. I'd say we'd hurry.... but hurrying has just made a mess of things here."
He looked over at Asuka's LFO then and saw the damage to it. For a moment he started to get mad. It didn't show though. As quickly as it came it was gone again.
"Looks like we rushed that to," he said. "If the girl is at the Foundation then they must have wanted her badly. I doubt they'll hurt...."
He stopped. "No.. I don't know what they'll do there. I used to have a... connection there, but.. well... it's unreliable now. Not much point in that."
"Listen Kayako I'll do what I can to get your friend back."

He nodded and went back on the ship towards the bridge and started to weld it was something to calm his nerves he just let it flow like a ref board dose in the trappers." something that I like to do." he mumbled to him self as he went over his weld a couple times."
