Darkened Angel Vice Captain

A bikini-clad Angel lay relaxing on the beach. Just then, as it was totally unexpected and occuring in a mere moment, nothing happened. Naboo was certainly a friendlier planet. It seemed to be a safe haven for now, as no one seemed to be chasing her down for any reason. " A little to the left. " she said, R1 complying by adjusting the umbrella so Angel gets enough shade.

After a nice lunch at the chateau, Freya had ventured down to the mini-beach situated by the lakeside.
"Ah, now this is like totally relaxing," Freya sighed contentedly just after setting up a parasol-style umbrella, lest the Naboo suns scorch her fair skin.
She smiled, curling up beneath the umbrella's shade. "Mmmm, this is nice. No shady Chiss here to totally give me a hassle. No mega stressful meetings with senators. For the time being ... all there is is myself, this totally relaxing place,"
The others were still at the chateau, though Aurora had expressed a wish to see Bastet, and so, she'd went there in company of Sapphire, and Rusty had also went along to translate.
"She should, like, totally get a voicebox for Sapphire," Freya giggled.

The Revenge II-class Star Cruiser Hektor's Shield dropped out of hyperspace high above Garos IV. Alongside were two Canderous-class Star Frigates and a Wombat II-class Star Frigate Pilum. They'd left Onderon in the hands of a small task force from the Garos IV Sector Fleet after the Mandalorians from Dxun had been moved to Onderon itself, along with a small garrison of a company of Imperial Stormtroopers, there merely to examine and regulate spaceport traffic, the Mandalorians could handle the rest.
The small task force pulled into the Garos IV Stardock with little fanfare, the war with Elladan Kenet may have been big news in the sector, but that didn't mean that the ships or their commander had graced the holos. Imperial Command was making every effort to keep the conflict quiet, and it was paying off.
Borill stood on the bridge as their ship docked, and the flow of supplies began to flow from station to ship. He smiled as a couple of the station personnel stopped to look up at the command tower where a barely visible item had been lashed to the hull. An ancient maritime tradition for the successful commander, a broom sat lashed to the command tower.
Rear Admiral Elsyn sighed as the crew shut down their stations, the last few days had been a real strain with the successful launch of three consecutive combat operations. For a formation that only a few weeks before had been taken off peacetime patrol their performance had been exemplary and draining. Borill glanced around, "Well, we've earned the week of shore leave issued our command... And we'll use as much of the time as we can."
Beside him the Mandalorian cybercommando, Kusei Maki nodded, "My people can provide ship security for the time being." A small band of a hundred odd Mandalorians had come to have made the Hektor's Shield home, the small section of the ship which they'd taken up residence in was already taking the name the Mandalorian sector among the crew, and its dramatic difference from the rest of the ship could easily be seen through the displays of greenery and hydroponics they'd set up in the halls around their cabins, coupled with the addition of tent flaps before many of the doors. They weren't going to get shore leave, the had made the ship their home, and as such they would guard it with their lives.
Kusei was already proving to be a rising star among the mandalorians, and he hoped that her continued assistance and leadership would only cement the alliance between their peoples.
Borill nodded, "Alright, I'll give the ship security teams shore leave as well then. How are your people responding to being under imperial captains on the Canderouses?"
"Quite well, all things considering," Kusei said quickly. "Normally we wouldn't place ourselves under the captaincy of others, but you've proven yourself, and for that reason alone my people are willing to give their new captains a chance."
"Good," Borill answered, "I'll be heading groundside, if you need anything I'm certain you can figure out a way of contacting me."

Link looked at the Image Caster's Datalink Locator for the fifth time in an hour. And it still came up Static. "The Planet's Radiation, interfering with the datalink's signal it is." He muttered. "Unsurprising." "Still no luck?" Leida said as she walked up to Link. "No. The location was not the problem. It was the same where-ever this one went. The Planet's Radiation is fouling up the Datalink's becon." he looked over to the girl as he shut the image caster off. "And you?" "None of the Geonotians I talked to knew anything about a Sith Fortress."
She handed Link a bundle of clothes. "Here you go, by the way." Link tooked the bundle, just noticing that the girl was wearing new, more form fitting garments. He arched an eyebrow. "You like?" She asked as she twirled about. "They had a Corgorlath's At the spaceport! I couldnt believe they had a decent clothing outlet this far out on the Rim!" "You do realize we're heading out into the desert, correct?" "Yeah? So?" He pointed at her exposed midriff and bare arms. "Exposed skin is not a good idea for this type of environment. It will burn and give biting vermin something to attack. Plus, you'll freeze at night." She shot an annoyed gaze at the Jedi. "Its still better than those burlap tunics you're so fond off!" "They're not burlap. This one sewed them together himself." "Tarkin's teeth!" Leida exclaimed. "You make your own clothes?! What planet are you from?! Gamorr?!" Link's eyes narrowed in annoyance, though his own betrayed nothing. "This one was taught to be self sufficient." He stated calmly. "There is nothing wrong with being able to do things for one's self."
"Talib!!!!"
Link and Leida turned to the voice just as a gorgeous, well endowed Zeltron woman swept Link into her arms and crushed the suprised jedi to her chest. "Oro?!" Link exclaimed in shock as Leida glared at the Jedi trapped in the Zeltron's suggestive embrace. "Bo-shudda Talib!!" The woman squeeled excitedly. "Kava na ta galu?!" Link struggled to free himself from the woman's grasp and chuckled. "Me koth, degozaru. Kava na ta galu?"
"Link?" Leida asked in a voice dripping with disapproval. "Who is this?"
The Zeltron looked to the girl as though noticing her for the first time. A mischievous smile crossed her crimson face. "Talib," She purred. "Bun yo muni chu kong?" Link shook his head frantically. "Ne! Ne! Ku cha Jeedai!! The woman looked unconvinced. still smiling she whispered into Link's ear. "Dar'cha ta amani. Ame hagwa ponki chobo. Keel-ee calleya ku kah..."
She licked the side of Link's face playfully, an action that made Link blush and brought an even more dire glare from Leida. Her mischief not yet done, the zeltron released Link and turned her gaze on the angry Princess. "You're cute when you're angry, Sugar." The Zeltron purred. "But you dont need to be jealous. I'm just playing with your boy toy." Her mischievous smile returned in a heartbeat. "You don't mind if I borrow him for a bit, do you, girl? He and I have some "catching up" to do. Though you're more than willing to join us..." Leida's angry gaze`softened considerably, almost as if she was sorely tempted by what the Zeltron woman was suggesting. "Well...ok..."
"Stop that!!" Link snapped at the Zeltron. She gave an innocent smile. "I dont now what you're talking about, Honey. Now lets head back to my ship and-" Link ignored her and went straight for Leida, who was loonking at Link in a rather affectionate manner. Link pressed his hand to Leida's forehead and the girl's eyes suddenly snapped clear. "What just happened?" Leida demanded angrily, trying to mask her embaressment at the thoughts that had gone through her mind. "Pheremones." Link responded, throwing a displeased look at the Zeltron woman. "Probably empathetic emotions too." "Sorry, Sugar," The woman remarked half heartedly, still smiling a playful grin. "I'm just always so very eager to meet any new friend of Talib. Especially one as cute as you..."
Link sighed and shook his head. "Princess Leida, this is Sha'ra Zhad, a longtime aquaintence of this one." he said, motioning to the Zeltron. Leida's eyes widdened. She looked to link with suprise. "You know Sha'ra?! The Galactic Celebrety?!" "Thats me!" The alien woman declared dramatically. "Troubadour Extraordinare! Singer of Songs and Teller of Tales Galaxy wide!" She gave a theatrical curtsie and winked at Leida. "Pleased to meet you, your Highness."

(if you checked my post on page 100, Stellar, those two Canderouses of yours don't exist in the least bit.)
Now that Borill and his Revenge was identified in Garos IV's space, the rouge commander began mobilizing his planned attack. He had roughly a few days worth of planning to prepare for the bothan's return, but things were going to be quite.... humorous.
~
Aboard the VSD Arc Hammer, Elladan's temporary command ship sat silently with a trio of other Victories just out of scanner shot of Garos IV, and a mere micro-jump away. They were accompanied by three Canderouses, and an aging Nebulon frigate.
"Is the Transverter hard-wired yet?"
"Yes," Sven answered from the captain's rear. He showed up a few seconds later. "Installment's done, and ready to fire."
"Good. Your part, Detre?"
The noghri nodded grimly. "The communication relays have been succesfully altered, according to your designs. If and when their slicers attempt to hack our systems, they will find two possible codes for the LT Transverter, the one we were using, and the one they'll think we've changed to, which is 69.754. We'll have a guarnteed forty minutes of free-time before they can breach our relays."
"Plenty time," the chiss acknowledged. "And the other battle groups are aware?"
"Yes sir. The other group hitting Junction, and the two from Dathomir hitting the Hydian just north of Garos IV will be using a slightly different code than the one we will be using, but the same principle will apply."
Sven nodded. "If all goes well, the base will answer each call for help, and dispatch some forces to each area, leaving Garos IV not-so defended as would be. Then, even if it sees through our ploy and stays to fight us full-force, we'll be able to nail three convoys and take another week's supplies from Garos, and a week and a half for Junction. In either case, we win."
"Correct," the chiss answered. "Now let's see how thing's play."
Nearby on the holoproj, one of the three red lights started beeping, signaling that Kathleen's raid south of Junction was harrasing the convoy there. About three minutes later, a second light began flashing, meaning that Drakel's group was attacking Junction. In another four minutes, the third light would signal Seto's attack near Garos' convoy defenses a few light-minutes away. Soon after that, they'd attack the base itself.

Tk-106 finally got shore leave, and he was happy.
He ran up to his squad, "hey where you guys going?" "to the capital, wanna come?" the troopers shouted back. "Ok, just as long as we don't get shot at." He laughed.
They took the next shuttle down planet side.

Aboard Sha'ra's luxuriant private yacht, the two Force users sat in the lavishly decorated lounge in an overstuffed semi-circular couch encircling an oddly old fasioned dejarik board. Sha'ra had persisted in resuming the convorsation onboard her ship, where they could resume the convorsation in relative privacy. And a Zeltron's invite was almost impossible to refuse. So now surrounded by a riot of color and finery, Link and Leida sat waiting for their hostess to return.
"Like it?" Sha'ra asked as she reapeared, referencing the Dejarik table. "Its a perfect replica of the one in the lounge of the Millenium Falcon!" She set a pot and three cups of some hot beverage upon the table as she slid onto the couch. Leida arched an eyebrow. " I was wondering why it didnt match the rest of the decor." "Its even got replicated scratches, nicks, and dents, accurate to the last ding!" Leida glanced at the table and was amazed to find she was right. "Incredible attention to detail..." "I know! Isn't it?!" "Yes! Where ever did you get it?!" "It was awarded to me by Senator Horn of Corellia after my performance on Coronat." "And all they gave you was a copy of someone else's Dejarik table?" Sha'ra laughed. "Its the thought that counts, Sugar. I already had a ship, so it was the best they could do."
Link had remained silent, eyeing the steaming liquid before him with suspicion. Out the corner of his eye he noticed Leida was about to take a drink from her cup. He grabbed her wrist and answered her bewildered look with a silent shake of his head.
Sha'ra laughed again. "Oh, you silly little Jedi! Its just Ansionian Tea!" "No Elixir of Infatuation?" He asked cautiously. "Absolutely not! Would I lie to you?!" "Yes." "Oh just the one time! Honestly, Talib, You need to loosen up!" Link raised an eyebrow. "You're a Zeltron. You think everybody needs to"Loosen up"."
"Theres nothing wrong with this." Leida interrupted. Link shot her a surprised look. "You drank it?!" The girl held up a toxic tester strip that she had dipped in the concoction. "No, but its not uncommon on my homeworld to remove umpopular rulers via poison. I always carry a few of these around incase I partake of a suspect meal."
Sha'ra threw up her hands. "Everyone thinks I'm out to get them!" "You were controlling her emotions before..." Link reminded her. "Oh, so its my fault you two are all paranoid?!" "Yes." "Well if thats how you feel, then you're sleeping on the couch tonight!" "What are you talking about?!" "So why do you call Link "Talib"?" Leida said, forcefully cutting in.
As though the arguement never happened, Sha'ra slid back into her seat and tittered. "Oh that! In my native tongue it means "student". Ever since he was just a wee padawan polishing Hiko's boots, Ive called him that. Its my little pet name for him." As Link glared suspiciously at her and took testing sips of his tea, Leida sipped at her own and made an assumption. "Hiko? His Master?" "Yep! Hiko Shin, the Master of the Way of Two Dragons, or so he says. A total stud. Tall, handsome, dashing- Everything that Talib is not." She cast a sly glance at Link, who seemed to be ignoring her prod. "I wonder sometimes how he ended up so skinny! It must be genetic."
Leida nodded in understanding. "So you know alot of stories, correct?" "Storytelling is my career, Sugar. Alot is only tipping the iceberg." "You wouldnt happen to know any about Drako Prime would you?" Sha'ra nodded. "A few. I know a lot of good Sith legend and lore, like Darth Sideous, and Malak, and Freedon Nad. I managed to impress even Darth Krayt with those stories." Leida's eyes widdened. "You performed before Darth Krayt?!" "Of course! Even Sith Lords need to be entertained by something other than torture and Death every once and a while. It was a great gig, aside from being surrounded by ill humored Sith." "So would you happen to know where his fortress is?" Leida pressed. "Of course!" "Would you mind flying us there?" Sha'ra held back a giggle. "Talib was planning on walking there, wasnt he?" "Honest to the gods, I think he was." Leida rolled her eyes. "Can you imagine?!" Link finished his tea and sighed. "There is nothing wrong with walking."
"Talib, baby, you'd get swallowed up in a radiation storm if you walked. I'll fly you to the fortress myself and that will be the end of it. I couldn't bear the thought of my little Talib dragging his lover out across the dunes, only to become radiaion soaked corpses..." The Zeltron looked off in a direction with a dreamy smile and sighed. "Though the idea of dying in each other's arms is so romantic..." "Lover?" Leida looked over to Link with a scowl. "What exactly did you tell her when we met her?" "That you werent this one's lover. He also reminded her that this one was a jedi, thus very unlikely to develop a relationship with anyone." "That doesnt stop your Master though, does it?" Sha'ra purred. Link sighed tiredly. "This one sees yet another set of trials awaiting him..."

The Yacht kicked up a cloud of dust as it landed on the edge of the shattered husk of a Geonosian spire. Weather bitten stone, still charred earth, and bits of unsalvaged debris littered the area around it. There was an aura about this place. An aura of Darkness, of Chaos and Anger.
As they stared at the debris through the canopy glass of the yacht, Link's face hardened and Leida shuttered. Sha'ra glanced back at them from the pilot's chair. "And I thought the place was delightfully ominous before. When it gives Force users the creeps, its gotta be bad." "It...It just feels so dark." Leida murmered. "So much simmering fury...its like peering into the mind of a serial killer..."
"Stay here." Link told them. "This one will go and find the Datalink. More experience with the Dark Side he has." Tugging his cloak around him, Link swept out the door of the bridge and made his way for the door. Leida made to follow him, where upon Sha'ra grabbed her wrist and shook her head. "Nu-uh, Sugar. You've a few stories you need to tell me. And if they're good ones, I might tell you a few of mine..."

The ship floated out through space, somewhere between here and nowhere. Its crew lounging back as they finally had some peace. The jawa gone, the money given.
Luger was asleep in his large chair as Jean((The only pure human out of the group)) fiddled with his blasters, cleaning and checking them. Haldir was going over some datapad, looking like he was reading some story as Luger's cousin was upfront looking over spacial charts.
It had been a good while sense the incident on Nal Hutta and Lugers nerves were nearly awreck, to the point of exhuastion where as he fell asleep. They would probably be troubled sooner or later by BH's or assassins. But aparently the hunt hadn't begun yet and that the whole crew was thankfull of.

As TK-106 and his squad walked they saw behind a building a woman being mugged by 3 men, they had vibro swords and pistol blasters.
"HEY THERE, FREEZE!" shouted one of the troopers, TK along with his squad lifted their weapons. The muggers opened up one them, TK-106 fired blasts from his ARC-9965 blaster rifle; hitting one in the chest killing him. "BLAST'EM" yelled TK as he took cover by a wall. Soon the fight was over, the muggers were dead but the woman was unharmed, amazing thinking of how much they blasted the alley. "Mam, are you ok?" TK asked, he reloaded his gun, and talked to the woman for a bit, and then filed a report. He and his squad left after that.
