You've never tried this?
Maximos seemed honestly surprised, his eyes were wide open, he even stopped walking for a second. The ball didnt spin andl fell out of his hand and started to fall towards his shadow stretched out in front of him. Almost immediately the shadow began to peel off the ground like a carpet, to meet the ball.
Gyaaah!
Shock, almost fear, spread across his face. The two were not more than an inch from each other, when Maximos' hand swooped down and snatched the ball up and away, and his shadow fell back into place, as he made an audible "whew". And then turned to Ryugi.
That...was close. This really only works with these two elements. Fire and Cold oppose each other, but one is truly only the lack of the other. While, Darkness is the lack of Light, it has certain metaphysical connotations that give it more substance. Darkness, linked with evil, with shadows, with negativity. Understand?
Of course he did, Ryugi was a bright fellow. No pun intended. So taking it that Ryugi did understand, Maximos continued, placing the ball atop his head. And it stuck like velcro. He reached his left hand in his pocket and pulled out a coin and held it flat between two fingers.
Like anything on an opposite spectrum, if you go to far to one side...
His finger moved to the edge of the coin.
You fall off, and end up on the other side.
His hand moved under the coin. His fingers moved to both sides of the coin, and then he flipped it off his thumb, sending it twirling into the air. Being his right hand, it went high...into the air.
Now nature, and reality, are constantly trying to keep the stronger elements in balance. Not too much light, not too much dark. Not to much good or evil, but both are necessary to make a whole.
And he caught it. And he started to repeat the gesture of passing over the flat coin, as he spoke.
So if you become as dark as can be, and push farther, then fall off, what are you? You cant be dark anymore, or you break the balance. You must be light. But born of absolute dark? That would be a breakage as well.
He smirked, putting the coin away, and pulling the ball from atop his head.
I cant believe you never asked that, or ventured to see for yourself!
Max held up the ball again.
The answer is this. Its called Darklight. As opposed to what you would get, called Lightdark. What I've done here is compress, and focus all the dark I can into one tiny spot, dont be fooled it takes alot. Nature struggles to compensate for the loss by providng an opposite, as I roll off the edge of the coin. That one spot becomes so dark, its light. Darklight.
He made a waving gesture to Ryugi. He was sure the dragon kept up with the science, but it was harder than science. And he figured there'd be no harm in teaching him!
Try it! What is light to you? Focus on that. Bright, warm, focus on an infinitesimally small speck and force as much of that feeling into it as you can. Watch what happens.
He resumed tossing the ball between hands. The truth was even Walter can only manage a few of these, or Shadow Island's innards would be rather well lit.
I'll warn you though, its a lot harder than it seems. Once you've got a formation you've got to hold it...bind it...then...well it takes a a few steps, making it somewhat difficult. But you should see what you can do when your finished! This...
He gestured to the ball.
...is step one, sounds like fun doesnt it?

What amazing thinking... If you look at it like that, then there is really a number of different things shadow and light can do. Perhaps even shadows or reflections of the other elements...
Now Ryugi's head was going. His brain was thinking. What else did he not fathom about his own elements? How much had he limited himself by not experimenting with them more fully? Could fire...actually be cold? Could light really be dark as well? What else lay hidden from view behind his preconceived notions of his elemental powers?
Fire was more than just flames. It was heat, it was burning passion, it was the spark of life, its power could be amplified by emotions. Light was the living force that flowed through all things. It was the light that gave brightness and color to the world, it could heal the wounded and sick, strengthen bodies to incredible levels, and it could be reminiscent of the other elements like a reflection.
But now was not the time to be pondering what other things he could do with his elements, he had something to try first. He moved off to the side of the road near a large rock, presided over by a large willow tree. He sat down, and moved out his hands. He moved them into a position similar to one where he would be holding a basketball between them. He was ready to begin...
Alright, here goes nothing...
And he started to gather and put forth the energy from the positive energy plane. His hands glowed for a moment, and a warmth would seem to flow from within his hands as a ball of energy took shape. It was about the size of an over-sized softball, and glowed white, tinged light blue by the purity of the person wielding it. It shimmered and slowly began to turn golden as more and more energy was placed into it.
Ryugi's face was still calm, but it was determined. His hair swayed slowly as a soft wind picked up around the glowing orb. Then, his eyes snapped into focus, his jaw gritted, and his hands twitched inward slightly as the glowing ball suddenly shrunk and its radiance increased to the point where it was the purest, whitest white one could imagine, and Ryugi had to squint from the brightness.
...Alright... Its compressed. Now I'm going to add more... You might want to stand back a bit, Max. I don't know exactly what I'm doing, and this much energy could be unstable.
The brightness intensified more as Ryugi's face suddenly looked more stern, and a bead of sweat dripped down his face. Now, Ryugi may not have needed to put as much energy into the ball as he was, but he was certain that in order for it to be used in battle, it would need to have plenty of energy behind it. In that case, he wanted to see if he could make something battle level.
The energy ball quivered a bit, expanding a bit before being compressed further. The sphere shrunk to the size of a golf ball, before expanding to baseball size, then back to golf ball size, and expanding out to softball size. Its radiance stayed constant however, a blinding brightness from the high concentration of raw positive energy. A final surge of control from Ryugi pushed the ball down to the size of a golf ball, the sphere quivering as a halo of sorts began to take up a form around it.
Warmer, lighter, brighter, more pure, more energy, these thoughts raced across Ryugi's mind as the aura of light around the ball quickly pulsed pink for a moment then back to white. More energy, shifting the ball to the purest white it could, and trying to force it beyond that, pushing it further. The aura pulsed to pink and quivered, flashing to white, to pink, to violet, to pink and back again.
And then, with a final surge of energy and force from Ryugi, his body glowing from the energy he was using to force the light to be lighter, breaking its boundaries, the sphere of energy pulsed to the purest white one could imagine, as swirls of black tendrils spun around it and were sucked into the center, before the whole mess finally stopped. The wind died down, the energy around Ryugi faded, until the only thing that was left was a softball sized sphere.
The sphere was unlike anything Ryugi had seen before. The inside was white, pure white, but the shimmering halo of an aura around it was black. Purity surrounded by a black and violet glow. It looked very different from Max's violet orb of energy, which had been violet with white light seeming to emanate from it. Ryugi could only stare as he watched the ball shimmer.
This... There's so much energy in it.
Ryugi's red eyes sparkled as he closed them, allowing the fields of arcana flow over him, his energy senses trying to read every facet of the sphere as if it were a fine gemstone. He could feel the slight imperfections in it, and he corrected them, each one making the orb easier to maintain despite the level of its energy contained within.
I can feel it. Its so pure I can't explain it, but at the same time, its almost like it isn't there at all, like it shouldn't exist.
It was truly a paradox. Something that shouldn't be, was. Something purer than light, something so pure that it was actually forced to take on the characteristics of its opposing element simply to exist. It was...
Amazing... Simply amazing Max... And this is only step one?
Something so fantastic and it was only the beginning? What else could there be hidden within the shrouds of light and dark that were present in Ryugi's hands?

"What amazing thinking... If you look at it like that, then there is really a number of different things shadow and light can do. Perhaps even shadows or reflections of the other elements..."
Maximos only grinned. But that grin said so much, it was a confirmation of every idea rushing through the Dragon's head and more. It said "You have no idea", even as Ryugi's mind fed him idea after idea. The tip of the iceberg had been reached.
That look, that awakening of inspiration came across Ryugi's face, and with a chuckle Max said.
Now your getting it, you wield a ruling element. And it rules for good reason. Hot, cold, wind, earth, water, fire, none of the other elements have this command over the balance. Look at our lives, divided into day and night to balance light and dark.
And let the Darklight ball fall into his palm where it was squelched by his clasped fingers. He didnt need it anymore, time to show was over, now it was time to watch. Excitedly he followed Ryugi to the tree, stand a few feet off as his companion sat and prepared himself. A smile was plastered on his face from ear to ear.
"Alright, here goes nothing..."
Oh, but this was so much more than nothing. It was quite a something. Maximos' right eye took on a faded white glow as he engaged his Magic Sight. He had of course seen spectrum pulled to dark, but to watch it pull to light was a brilliant thing. No pun intended. The way the positive plane poured over and into Ryugi with a milky warm sort of calm was so very opposite of the almost violent infectious appearance of the dark. And this was just the start, this was going to get big...very big.
...Alright... Its compressed. Now I'm going to add more... You might want to stand back a bit, Max. I don't know exactly what I'm doing, and this much energy could be unstable.
Maximos nodded. And then he took a step, just one. More because as close as he was, which was still several feet away his eyes were stinging. If it went off, he might very well go blind and well, that would definitely be bad.
It was astonishing to watch. Maximos was speechless, and still. His only action beside intently watching, being to lift his hand up to shield his face when the light pulsed the first time, to try and save his eyes from a blast that thankfully did not happen.
But no sooner than light came, then did reality react. Light bent and warbled around the ball of white, and out came the darkness to compensate. It was like watching a miniature dusk. And when the ball, was finished...
"This... There's so much energy in it. "
Max walked forward, crouching beside his friend as he stared into the ball.
Yes, yes there is, you did good. Very good.
He layed an affirming hand on Ryugi's shoulder.
"I can feel it. Its so pure I can't explain it, but at the same time, its almost like it isn't there at all, like it shouldn't exist. Amazing... Simply amazing Max... And this is only step one?"
Maximos grinned that "trouble" grin again and said.
Indeed it is, now let me show you what it can do.
Without skipping a beat he flipped his pack around, tossed it open and started digging through it, talking as he did so. Occasionally his eyes popped up to Ryugi to make sure he didnt lose the Dragon. You see there was a mystery left to be resolved.
Now imagine this. Imagine what you are holding is the corner of the spectrum, both sides of a flat surface. Whats on the other side? Whats the opposite?
It was rhetorical of course, he paused for a moment, but continued digging out several books and laying them in the grass.
You have Light Dark, I had Darklight. But what if the two met? Then a flat spectrum is made round and havoc is wraught. That isnt a balance at all, that would be a loop, wouldnt it?
Of course it would. Another book, few folded pieces of cloth. A bag full of flat black stones.
Now you, Ryugi, personally do not have the access to true darkness to make this reaction. But if we cant physically find what you need, we metaphysically find it. And what you need is the opposite of what your holding. Aha!
Maximos pulled out a square, wrapped in black cloth, it looked like a tile of sorts, he held it in his lap as he started to load the other contents back in and continued.
Now this is where it gets confusing.
He pulled off the material, revealing a flat grey surface which he began writing on with a paintbrush. Where did the brush come from? Now THAT was magic. And he wasnt telling.
For me its easy, my shadow is saturated with dark. It is the very opposite of what I am, when held up to light. For you, we'd need access to your light, as it is the very opposite of what you are when held up to the dark.
Max was drawing runes in black ink, a very intricate design across the gray tile. Magic circles and lines between them, it was extremely precise, and yet very fast. Brush strokes being like sword strokes made him quite the penman.
What do we use to show us our opposite? Our reflection as it were?
Rhetorical again! But the answer came soon, as he placed his fingers around the edge of the gray tile and lifted it revealing that it was not infact a gray tile. But on its opposing side it was very clearly, a mirror! But this mirror did not show Ryugi's reflection right at all. In it, he seemed very many many times brighter. Infact his entire form seemed to be made of glowing white, and ball remained impossibly black.
A mirror! A magic one of course, and sadly it wont survive whats about to happen. But behold, your Light Shadow. Now...
He stood up, and dusted off pants, closing his bag. And seemed, for a moment to completely change subjects as his eyes peered far down the road behind the tree Ryugi was leaning against. He tapped his chin with folded arms as he spoke.
...Ryugi, do all Angaran dragons have a level of control over an element?

Ryugi listened intently as the secrets of the elements were laid out and explained in a way that he'd only been able to grasp in parts before. Light and dark were completely reliant on one another to exist. Positive could not exist without negative, and thus, the two were heavily related to one another. It made logical sense that something so far gone from the normal conventions of how the system worked would have strange side effects as the universe moved to balance itself out. Something HAD to exist to fill the gap.
So many things were uncertain about magic. Of course, this wasn't magic. This was elemental control. Magic was a term used to refer to something seeming to happen with no reason at all, something unexpected that someone created without the normal processes of their body. Incantations, invocations, chanting, spell writing, even runes were all forms of manipulation that lead to the core of the elements of the world. Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Dark, these elements were present in every living thing, and in every non-living thing.
What Ryugi did, what Angaran dragons did, was simply form a connection to the elements that were already present within themselves, and use their bodies to pull forth more of that element from its natural source, the various elemental planes and realms. Ryugi's key traits were his purity and his passionate drive to fight for what he believed in. It was a common perception to believe that those traits were given to him through the use of his elemental abilities, but this was not the case. His strongest personality elements were fire and light, and thus, when he began to train his body to call on them, they were the easiest to find and make use of. They flowed the most freely to him compared to the other elements, and thus, he'd learned to make them a part of himself, and to wield them.
Yes, they do. All Angaran Dragons have some form of elemental manipulation. It comes to them naturally during their Time of Awakening.
Where was Maximos heading with all of this? What purpose did the mirror hold in all of this? So many questions, so many answers! Max had tapped into another of Ryugi's great interests. Elemental manipulation and experimentation had always been something that fascinated him. The concept that one could wield an element of the universe as a part of themselves was impressive to him, and he was always wondering about how the elements worked together. He knew this experience would be one that would aid him greatly in his quest to better understand his own elemental workings, as well as assist him in understanding the very nature of the elemental universe itself...

Excellent!
Max said, his were most definitely locked on something past the tree, and behind Ryugi. That answer was everything he was hoping for. He defly, flicked the mirror toward Ryugi and said.
Hold this please.
While taking a step back toward the road only to suddenly stop cold and spin one heel shouting back as it flew.
Do not let that touch the Light Dark!
There was a sense of urgency on his voice that truly and honestly should not be trifled with. He made it quite honestly sound like the two meeting would end the world. It was that serious. And then he spun back to the roadside.
He would wait a good minute, before Ryugi would see what Maximos saw. A man, or rather a dragon as a man, in brown and green pulling a wheel barrel full of plants and fresh soil.
Max presumed it was a type of earth or nature dragon and that was perfect. He immediately waved the dragon down.
Sir! Sir!
He said, running up beside him.
Sir, my name is Maximos.
And Maximos presented his hand for a shake.
I'm demonstrating something for a my friend there.
A thumb gestured over his shoulder to Ryugi.
Could I perhaps borrow a moment of your time, and a smidgen of your elemental ability?

Ryugi awkwardly gripped the mirror as he balanced the ball of Light Dark in his other hand. If he'd looked graceful before, he certainly looked awkward now.
The elderly man hauling the cart smiled and shook Maximos' outstretched hand with a warm accepting smile.
Of course, kind Maximos. I'd be pleased to assist ye. Anything making this much of an elemental stir must be mighty interesting to watch!
The man wheeled his cart off to the side near Ryugi and nodded in greeting, before taking up a position near Maximos.
Well, just lemme know what ye need. I'm ready when ye are.

Wonderful!
Maximos said with a bright smile from ear to ear. Expirements he loved them!
I promise you'll get quite the show.
He said, making a gesture for the man to follow as he moved toward Ryugi, and then stopped a good ten feet away from his companion, and said.
If you would stand here please?
And then he'd move 10ft beyond that, both men at a V angle with Ryugi at the center point. Maximos drew Ankokuko, blade down in a completely non-threatening manner, and then turned to Ryugi and said.
Ryugi this kind gentleman is going to help us with our experiment. Tell me, despite your focus, are you still able to access your Fire element?

Ryugi grinned and positioned the mirror under his armpit, gripping it there as his opposite hand reached out and turned into a fist as orange energy quickly surged along its length and turned into a fiery palm as fire elemental energy roiled around the extended limb, separated from the mirror and the Light Dark that Ryugi held in his other hand, still under control, still focused.
Of course, Max. Accessing elements while keeping another under control is all a part of dual elemental combat. I'm ready for it when you are.
The elderly dragon grinned as well, and looked to max, letting him know that he was as ready as Ryugi to get this hullabaloo on the road as well.

Alright.
That grin was back, and wider than ever. He reached into his jacket inside pocket and pulled out a white sheet of paper covered in runes, and whispered something to it. There was a sudden tuft of black, and Maximos was holding a bright blue ball, that seemed to be dripping frost, and with what appeared to be a small woman inside. He was set.
Alright Sir, if you could, please perform some sort of manipulation on the spot between us. At the same time, I'll manipulate the dark, and Chyrstal here...
He lifted the orb.
...will blast it with ice.
Max turned back to Ryugi.
At the same time, you will assault the same spot with fire. A fireball will do, and lastly, once all of our attacks meet...
He paused for suspense. A dramatic pause, to the dramatic tone he had taken to mark the occasion.
...let the mirror and the Light Dark touch. And then gentleman...hold on tight.
Ankokuko rose above his head, hovering in his grasp for a moment before it fell and he shouted.
Now!

In an instant, Ryugi snapped into action. The flame element on his arm swirled around it until his palm moved outward as if he was trying to make something stop, and a simple fireball flew from his palm. Ryugi hadn't made a fireball like that since he was younger, playing with his inner fire as he learned his abilities. It was almost ironic that he would be learning something new now with that very same technique. At the same time, the elderly man slowed with a dark golden energy before a clod of earth, rich with rock, soil, and plant material shot forth up from the ground to collide and mix with the fire element that Ryugi had just launched. * * * Then, just as Max had said, he would wait until Maximos had unleashed his own attacks before he would press the mirror and the Light Dark together, and wait to see what happened...

Nothing.
Thats what happened.
At least in the first few seconds, it was enough to make a person think Max had just played a royal practical joke.
But then Ryugi would feel the rumbling in his hands, the Light Dark, and the Mirror fought. Like magnets of opposite polarity they struggled to rip apart from each other. In a moment, a heartbeat, Ryugi would be able to feel that keeping these two together would take all his strength and then some, it was unlikely even the elder monk would have had the strength required. But no sooner than it seemed to break free did another force make itself evident.
Pull.
Just as much as the mirror and light were pushed apart, they were pulled together. They faught for what would feel like an eternity, though really only took several seconds.
And then stillness.
The Light Dark was half buried in the mirror. Cracks of white spreading out in all directions across the glass and yet by some miracle to stood together. From the stillness came a warble. A visible bend in reality, like a wave in a pond, but this pond was thin air. The wave rippled outwards, as time itself seemed to slow to a crawl. It would spread outwards for a good 200yards, but the reaction did not wait for the ripple to pass.
No, no. No sooner than it had passed where Earth, Fire, Ice, and Shadow met, did the mirror react. It shattered as a half black, half white ball flew toward the intersecting elements.
The world went blank. It was nothing. It wasnt white or black or any color, just nothingness. A sound was heard, but had no words to fit it as it ripped outwards. Existence went white. Then black. Then red. Then green. Then blue. Then white again.
It was impossibly cold, boiling hot, incredibly windy, sandy and dry, darker than sin, and brighter than the sun all at the same time.
Ryugi and Maximos would be able to feel it, while the elderly gentleman would not quite as much. For a moment, Ryugi would feel writhing tendrils of black tear through a hole he did not open nor wished be open. Darkness. It crept around him, no sooner than he realized he did not want it there, was it inside him. It was where light should have been, and the light that should have been under his control was gone. His breath was black. His eyes would feel as if they were darkening.
Maximos would feel the same, only with light.
And then, in a flash of white. It was gone.
Literally.
Before Ryugi should have been a half frozen, part burning, blackened eruption of soil. But instead, before Ryugi was absolutely nothing but the grassy plain he started with. A grinning Maximos, and a likely confused elderly gentleman.
This was an answer to one of the worlds oldest questions. What happens when you pull all the light and all the dark from a room? This. This is what happens. Everything within a mile, had likely seen the sky go night, and day in one 200yard radius for a breaths notice.
There was silence, holy unholy silence, before Maximos voice broke it.
Whew! That is what happens when the wielders of reality attempt to break the rules. Reality extracts the wielder and adjusts.
But there was more to this. Maximos held up Ankokuko to reveal what everything within 200yards was feeling. 35% of the blade was missing. Gone. Ryugi would feel absolutely no pull from any element, and no element would heed his call. Not even the slightest bit.
And to be sure that it has the time to recover, it locks all of us, the manipulators out.
Maximos was all smiles, from ear to ear. And he sheathed and Ankokuko. As he did, there was a visible warble following his arm, as reality showed its very lucind weakness. And he said.
I call it the Omni Backlash.
Not only were light and dark reversed. But the rock, the fire, the ice, and by partisan the water, were all undone. Everything element within a 200yard radius effectively was in lock down. It was a nice way to even a fight. No level of elemental control would break the lock only...
In about five minutes everything should return to normal. Quite a ride, isnt it?
...Time. Chyrstal's orb vanished in a tuft of black, returning a sheet of paper that he tucked back into his jacket.
Thank you good sir, you'll find that once you get outside of about 200yards of here, everything will feel as it should.
And back to Ryugi.
The earth and fire and ice and shadow were mostly for show. It takes alot of preparation, but with practice, think of the battle advantages for an attack like that!
He walked closer and sat down beside Ryugi.
Granted it makes one rely on skill for a time, and would require one incredibly strong sheet of glass to form a mirror from...but...
He let that fade out for Ryugi's imagination to fill.

Ryugi was stunned. It was as if the experiment had just just shown Ryugi the very creation of the universe from nothing. He was almost certain he had felt himself cease to exist, and then, just as quickly, it was as if he had been completely reborn. It was the universe itself shutting off the paradox of negation and opposites, and preventing an infinite loop of powerful elements from cycling out of control. The system effectively restarted, removing the elements that were out of flux and then working to repair the damage before any real harm was to come to pass.
The system was so powerful, and yet at the same time, Ryugi saw the whole fragility of the system as well as Max's simple motion of sheathing Ankokuko caused the area around him to waver with distortions. Seeing all of this with his own two eyes, feeling all of this with his own body, reminded him of just how fragile the universe and the planes really were. If someone were to somehow manage to hit all of reality like this, and then attack with another attack...
Ryugi shuddered a bit. He didn't want to know what could happen. The thought shook him to his core. But then he heard Maximos speak once more. Something about glass for another mirror.
And he grinned.
Sometimes, max, I wonder if you don't have all of this stuff planned out beforehand.
He'd chuckle and walk over to grab his things, already wondering of the possibilities of his new-found knowledge.

"Sometimes, max, I wonder if you don't have all of this stuff planned out beforehand."
Grin. Trouble. It was there.
In no words, Maximos said, "Maybe...maybe not!". And chuckled a bit, scooping up his bag, and wondering if anyone was going to come wondering what the blast was all about. But hoped that the large mountain masked it well enough.
He had just opened up a new door for the dragon, and behind it lay infinite possibility. Ryugi might notice, that reality continued to warble as they moved until they left the range of the blast.
Max followed, directly beside Ryugi. A refreshed smile on his face. 'Nothing like a good experiment breaching and pushing the boundaries of what is, to set the day off right!

Ryugi would continue to walk with his friend, until his brain started to ponder a host of different things. He'd just gotten himself a new ability, but he also wondered how exactly Max knew so much about the way the world used elemental energy. It wasn't exactly broadcast to everyone, and it made him wonder.
Say, Max, how do you know so much about elemental planes and energies?
It was an honest question. Ryugi was curious. Perhaps Max knew more than he let on? or did he have a hobby Ryugi didn't know of? Either way, he had to wonder.

Maximos' eyes simply lit up. It was like asking a scientist about his latest project, or an artist about his newest masterpiece. These are crafts born of the heart, and out of the hearts abundance the mouth speaks. He paused, still walking of course, but his arms folded and his hands rested on his chin, timed perfectly with a "Hmmm", as he tried his best to formulate an origin for this hobby of his, and come up with a suitable answer, that wasnt simply a rant.
Life!
Was the only answer he could say, random as it was. He immediately moved to fill in the gaps.
My entire life. On Aria, we call them essences not energies because to us that is what they are. We are all engines to push the great flow by our very essence. So I grew a natural curiosity about where and how, and why. Alternatively, my childhood visits with grandfather to the Shadow Realm, and my isolation on Gaia has perked my curiosity in "other worlds".
He reached back, over Ankokuko's sheath, his hand ruffling through his pack for just a moment to pull out a book. It had no title, but it was black and large, and Max continued.
These, we're the first things I picked up in Vergan, the Great Desert. And involved many a trip to the ruined library of Ariak. Days lasted months and for a shadow like myself sometimes outside was just too bright, so I spent my days in the library with these.
He peeled open the book, it had diagram and text written in a language not seen on Gaia, ever. Not due to age, simply due to distance.
Of course that pushed me across many a language barrier, as you can see. This particular book is about the origin, birth, and nature of various elemental beings. And involved many a trip to the ruined library of Ariak. But my knowledge grew in volumes. Still...
The book was slipped back as he let out something of a long sigh.
...most of these books were written by safe men, who learned the boundaries from what they saw, and never pushed them. For that my friend...
Remember that grin? There it was again.
For that I've paid a good portion of my blood, health, and time.
He nodded, rubbing his side idly where a Light Scar used to be, but was no more.
Experiments! Sometimes the only way to learn is to go out and see for yourself! Shadow Island nearly crashed the day I first accidentally used the Omni Backlash.
A chuckle, rolling into a laugh, calmed behind a hand to the face.
Though for everything its taken, the knowledge has certainly given me much. I dare say I wouldnt be living the life I am today without. But I digress, I'm far from having all the questions I'd like answered. Yet the answers I have, have come from everything I've done.
A nod, satisfied with his answer, concluding it with an all too signature...
Indeed.
