The embers that Sunfire sent off quickly hit their target. The Butterfree squeaked in pain as the supereffective fire burned it causing massive damage. But it still kept going.
"Okay Butterfree let's get this whipersnapper! Hit the Flareon with a Psybeam and then follow up with another Gust!" He said. "Dodge and use Ember!" Mag commanded. He looked over and saw a large black helicopter fly off towards the Viridian Gym. Hm.. I guess the leader is back again maybe. I heard he dissapears quite often.
Mag looked back to see Sunfire get slammed by a powerfull rainbow colored beam. He cringed himself but Sunfire kept up. He shot another powerfull flame attack at the flying bug. He was obviously annoyed with the bug.

Kasiya watched the two Pokemon for a moment or two over her shoulder before she entered the room, leaning against the wall on the other side of the door, waiting to be told what was what. She listened patiently, looking down at the map again, and then towards Sabrina.
Viridian City, she mused, remembering there was a gym there. She also recalled the fact that it was where she first met Shocker. She chuckled to herself, remembering the eager Pikachu who'd only wanted a bite of her lunch. She glanced up, seeing Mitsu leaning against the wall nearby. She too seemed disturbed by something. This dangerous mission, perhaps? Her thoughts swirled around like dark storm clouds in her mind, and she did her best to focus. Aw great, she thought again suddenly. Here I am about to help take on Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket, and I've left one of my most valuable team members with Professor Oak. She sighed to herself and shook her head, wishing she could reverse time.
((This will probably be my last post for an hour or two, my hubby needs the puter to plan for tonight's RPing session, seeing as how the party kind of ruined the story for the next part. xD rofl ))

Upon reaching the gym Dante stepped inside and blinked a few times. It was very, very dark inside and took a while to adjust to the light. Finally he managed to get used to it and scanned the gym. There didn't seem to be any trainers inside but there was a large black area between one end of the gym and another. Shrugging Dante walked over to the black part and as soon as his foot touched it an odd sensation over came him and he found himself a few feet back from where he had been befor. At first he didn't quite know what to think of that befor he started shaking slightly. He had no idea what had just happened and it freaked him out.
He glanced over at the now 'treacherous' black void and slowly inched up to it. When he got there he bended down and reaching out slightly he made to poke it when something popped out of the floor that caused Dante to scream bloody murder and Meowth to fall off of his shoulder in a dead faint. It could be said that Dante's scream could be heard from at least a mile away.

"Thank you, Nina," Sabrina said with a little smile. "If you will all excuse me for a few minutes, I need to take a trip to the Pokemon Center. There's one very important Pokemon that I want to bring." When Nina gave her a quizzical look, Sabrina replied, "Remember when Kilik was in jail, and he threw a Pokeball outside of his jail cell window, and we picked it up?"
Nina thought for a moment. "...Oh!" she said, an almost surprised look on her face. "You can't mean...?"
Sabrina grinned, and nodded. "But I do. Now, I'll be right back." Walking away from the table and exiting the gym, she made her way to the Pokemon Center. Almost automatically, she walked to the PC, and input her information. She touched the screen, which caused a Pokeball to appear in the tray. Picking up the Pokeball in one hand, Sabrina grinned and exited out of the PC Storage System.
A few minutes later, Sabrina had arrived back in the gym. She walked back into the hidden room, and stepped away from the tables. "Everyone," she began, "I would like to introduce you all to a new member of our family. So long as we have this Pokemon, Giovanni will do nothing to harm us, because he would only want its safety... Hopefully." Sabrina said the last part under her breath. She flung the Pokeball out in front of her, and a Pokemon appeared in a bright white light.
It lay on the floor, casually licking its paw. "This is Giovanni's Persian," Sabrina said. "When Kilik was thrown into jail, he discarded this, and Nina and I stumbled upon it."

Great, water equals boats. Mike shuddered, remembering how terrified he was on the ride to Dewford. "Alright Sabrina." He said assertivly, standing up. "I'm ready to go whenever you give the word." He glanced over at Nina and Mistu. "Good." His eyes met Kasiya, he remembered how well they've battled together. Damn. She's on another team. He frowned and walked out of the room, heading towards his Pokemon.
"Hey guys." He spoke up, Nitro and Portabello halted their fight and came to him. He released Proton, Titanium, Felsic and Shiver, all his Pokemon crowding around him. "Now, we're about to go on a dangerous mission to try to cripple Team Rocket and rescue a friend of ours. Anyone have any objections as to the severity of this mission and how something bad most likely will happen?" He asked and surveyed his Pokemon, not a uncertain face to be seen.
"I knew I could count on you." He smiled. "You are the best." With that he recalled Proton, Shiver and Titanium and walked back into the conference room, followed by Nitro and Portabello.

Recalling the Persian, Sabrina put it onto her belt. "I would like for us to set out as soon as possible," she said, "but the weather as of now does not seem very promising. And I'm especially concerned for the Five Island group-- riding on a boat may be dangerous. I know that some of you may feel a bit uncomfortable in such a situation." Sabrina turned her gaze to Mike for a moment, and gave him a wink after she had said the latter part. "However, it is not up solely to me to decide. What do you all think that we should do?"
"The rational thing to do would be to wait for the storm to die down," Michael said. "After all, what if the storm badly affected the waves that the water was producing, and the Five Island group were to tip over in the boat?"
"Michael!" Jessica said. "We don't have the time to wait. This storm could continue for who knows how long, and we'd be losing precious time. I think that we should leave as soon as it's possible. After all, who knows what Giovanni would be able to accomplish in the time that we spent waiting around?"
"I agree with Mother," Nina said. "I lost Kilik once before, and I don't want to lose him again! Losing a friend is the worst feeling in the world, and that's not something I want to experience a second time."

Down in the floor the cause of Dante's scream could be seen half of a Gengar's face as it floated in between the two layers. Dante's heart was beating so hard it was almost painful as he stared wide eyed down at the half of a pokemon head. Suddenly Dante heard chuckling to the side of him and glancing over still shaking somewhat he spotted a man with white hair and some sort of bandana holding back his bangs. "My you certaintly are jumpy!" The figure chuckled again befor reaching ahand down to help Dante up, taking it and still shaking a bit but not as much stared at the man curiosly. "My name's Morty and I am the leader of this gym. And that," He pointed to the now fully emerged Gengar. " is my Gengar. He likes to play pranks on others so you will have to excuse him."
Dante nodded and picked up the fainted Meowth. "Ah my names Dante and this is Meowth. Normally he would say something sarcastic to you but he's a bit at a disadvantige right now." He laughed a bit unervedly and looked around curiosly at the gym befor back at Morty. "So your the Ghost pokemon gym leader?" He asked slowly.
Morty smiled at him. "Yup that would be me. I am also one of the few people who study the legendary pokemon. Though since I have a gym it's more of a hobby for me."
Dante suddenly brightened up."You study the Legendary pokemon to! My goal is to become the Legendary Pokemon Researcher. So I guess it's a good thing I came here so I can talk to you."

"We should go now." she said flatly. "Karri can simply resuce us if one of us fell into the sea or something and if the boat were to be destroyed we would still have Nightmare to ride on. He should be able to hold the entire party." Mitsu paused for a moment looking down at the gym's floor. "That is," she began again, "assuming he will let us." She clenched her fists. Nightmare, please, we may need you. I won't let the Rockets hurt you anymore I promise. Please don't go beserk when I send you out. After a moment she let them relax and looked back up to the group. "Shall we?"

"The thought of using our Pokemon to Surf hadn't even crossed my mind," Sabrina said honestly, almost feeling a little embarassed. "If needed, Nina can ride on Cupcake, I'll ride on Regal, Mike can use Shiver, and you can use Nightmare... but if Nightmare proves to be too much of a pain for you, I'm sure that you could borrow Cupcake. But let's just hope that it doesn't come to that."

"Heh, once again he's been underestimated. Nightmare will be fine, and if he does get out of hand I have Karri to help calm him down." Mitsu said to Sabrina's comment. "But yeah, I don't think it will come to that so we don't need to worry do we?" She gave a small smile more so to make herself feel better than anyone else. We'll be fine.

Morty looked a bit suprised at that but in a pleasent sort of way. "Really? Its nice to finally meet a fellow Legendary Pokemon entusiest. So what can I do for you Dante?"
"Ah, well I was actually coming to you for some help." He looked embarrised for a moment befor continuing. "You see I recently obtained a ghost pokemon and to be frank Ghost pokemon kinda creap me out. I was wondering if there was something I could do about that?"
"Well, I don't know but I am sure I can at least make you more comfertable around your ghost pokemon. Can you send him out so I can see him?" Morty asked curiosly.
Shrugging and doing his best to continue to hold Meowth while fishing for Kenny's pokeball he finally was able to release the small ghost pokemon who upon release looked up at Morty curiosly behind its skull mask.

Though she originally thought she may just look around the city Hikaru came to the Gym anyway upon hearing a very loud scream. She walked into the old fashioned building. Dante was inside talking to someone she assumed was the gym leader.
"What was the scream all about?" She asked noting the limp Meowth in his arms and what appeared to be part of a head floating in the floor.

Morty looked at the small ghost pokemon curiosly. "Well I dont usually see Hoenn ghosts but this little guy here seems to be quite the fighter. Where did you get him?" Morty asked not looking up but playing slightly with Kenny who seemed to enjoy it.
"I won him as an egg in the Cherry Blossem festival." Dante answered sheepishly. "So I wasn't really expecting him, or rather, I wasn't really expecting really anything. I didn't even think that I would win."

Sabrina nodded in response to Mitsu's question. A few moments later, she said, "Well. I suppose that now would be the best time to be on our way."
Nina nodded in agreement. "Right." She looked to Mike, Mitsu, and Jessica. "Come on, everyone. Let's head out." Nina led her group out into the main room near the exit. A loud thunderclap could be heard from the outside. "I realize that we all have Pokemon that can fly, but due to the strom that's going on, it may be better for us to run to Vermillion City. After all, the worst thing that could happen when we're flying is that we could get struck by lightning... not to mention that it would be a deathwish for Nitro to be flying in the rain," she said, looking to Mike.

Kasiya hesitated for a moment, hanging by the front doors of the gym for a minute or two. Seeing Giovanni's Persian once more had sent chilling images of it leaping towards Ariel, his razor sharp claws extended, and the Barrier put up by Sabrina's Mr. Mime coming just in time. I need Seto! she thought almost desperately, her eyes darting back and forth between her friends. If I could just get to the Pokemon center and... her thoughts trailed off, and she wondered if she'd have time to even make the switch. "I've got a bad feeling about this," she said quietly, staring at the ground.
((hours, half a day. my hubby took longer than expected, and company arrived early. sorry guys. whee ))
