Gin pointed towards a third group of demons, and Trumpeter began to sound it's deadly weapon once again. Moreover, this group seemed to have an especially deadly leader, so it was likely the last of those who would throw themselves unto Gin and his demon in this attack, and it's defeat would shatter the morale of the rest. Finishing them off as they tried to scatter would be a lot easier than fighting them one at a time in this style they'd forced upon Gin so far. As she ran away, barely surviving the blast, she noticed that her demon wasn't following her. Maybe she called it back without noticing? Anyways, the first priority was survival. And just after the fight, she was called to help out beat something, she couldn't really tell over all the white noise their voices carried. So, getting to the meeting spot, she had felt great power overcome her as she had almost immediately noticed that she was now being possessed by Shiva.
