Valany Valterria What is your guys' post style? Take turns, or just post whenever you're quoted? I prefer the taking turns, but some guilds are different smile We take turns when its one big interaction in the same form, but say its two different interaction in the same forum then no need to wait for the other group. However its advised to still be reasonable with how fast you post so you dont accidentally bury the other group that's there ^^

Thanks Everyone, I think I've got it together now so let me know if this is better. So everything about the personality sounds about right. I'll adjust to say: Sinnova banished them as an act of mercy, and kept any info related a secret. Threw the Abandoned off of their trail for 18 yrs. Enough time for them to settle down and raise their son. The Abandoned of course find them. Chaos ensues parents dead. They say something similar to even sinnova couldn't protect them forever. XIII kills the androids and begins to train his abilities. To his mother's front, exactly as you said. She never actusally discovered the Voiceless, or even got close but based on rumor she was to try to create one (the only important element of this Is creating some thing altogether new with tech, the basis for how she helped create XIII) I don't know of I made it clear so my fault but XIII until this event thought he was normal. He only knew of the gangs based on TV. He didn't know his parents past and he doesn't understand what he is. Through his story he'll be finding out about his family's history. Based on what he knows so far. He's spent the years since as the Skull trying to make contacts and find the one that was known as Sinnova and maybe why his parents were killed.

Yang Kaido The Abandoned Concerns:XIII's mother is an android named III created with the full emotional spectrum of a human. The intention being so that she could observe human interaction and gain more information on the details behind a spreading rumor of Demons. The truth behind their existence is never confirmed, but the Abandoned see it as a way to induce fear into humanity so they assign her to then use the knowledge that she has gained to attempt to create an artificial demon. The overall goal being that by giving them a common enemy they may move towards a equal world by unifying against a common enemy of an unknown source. In her research she believes if she can create something that can be acknowledged as a demon, there would be no way to control it and giving it a body based on the latest technology would actually result in heavy casualty and the potential destruction of both races. The Abandoned still push the idea and she flees with the knowledge and any knowledge of how to create anything like her again. They eventually track her to Hinas where she has been living with a former Hellfire Syndicate member. They, along with a member of the Hellfire Syndicate are sent to retrieve her and ensure the man who killed several of their own while escaping with III is killed. In the resulting fight, they discover a boy who is neither human nor android and are ordered to kill the abomination, but bring his body back for study. As they try, III uses herself to shield him and is in turn destoryed. The boy loses it and kills the generic androids. - QuestionsWould the Abandoned engage in such a program? Would the Abandoned send someone to reclaim the knowledge? Would this be something high reaching enough that Death Enigma would have knowledge of it? Woah, Okay, First I would like to give a sincere apology for taking so long to answer your questions. I wasn't in the best of conditions yesterday and was physically and mentally exhausted so I needed the extra rest. Though I was promptly lectured for this delay as well. As for your questions I'll do my best to answer each of them in order; +Absolutely not, unless it was before Abel had taken over the Gang. Even then, they weren't employing the use of Androids except for likely three at the time, and nothing of the complexity level of Abel until after Abel was no longer limited to an AI program. They also wouldn't be eager to kill an Android like her and would have wanted to protect her after Abel had taken over, including the child. Their goal is to achieve complete equality for Androids and Cyborgs in every city. Something like that would be more along the lines of the Military. +The moment Abel would have found out about anything related to that he'd make certain that someone was capable enough to go and retrieve as much information on the subject as possible and potentially even try and rescue survivors of the incident and give them a safe place in Drowwood under the Abandoned's protection. +Yes it would be. If it's something that occurred in Drowwood at the time and information of it was either given through security camera footage or through the city's information sources such as reports from those who were working on the programs that are known for Android/Cyborg workings Abel would know about it because he keeps track of those businesses and programs. Otherwise it would be along the lines of something that would be reported to him. The mistreatment of any Android no matter the complexity level is something he doesn't take lightly, this includes murdering them. I hope those answers help.

The mistreatment of any Android no matter the complexity level is something he doesn't take lightly, this includes murdering them. I hope those answers help. It does, but also massively complicates them all at once. Just the way I like it. What's a story without massive levels of intrigue and plot twist? Okay readjust, I'll have to stretch this out to the military then. Who should I contact with those questions? The Voiceless Ones story is becoming a bit of a stretch based on how the Abandoned operate so I can nix that aspect. Would it be acceptable to say that she was maybe working on some sort of program to create a new type of biological entity that could contain the knowledge and processing of a new android with more human like process to create a new evolution of the culture (basically birthing androids with nanomachines that take the best qualities of different androids and programs to create a more efficient being) when (info pending military section approval) the military tries to steal her research. They don't believe a gang should have this sort of power because they mistake her research which is trying to create a higher understanding to promote equality, as a super weapon that they're trying to build. As such they go to steal it and encounter her. Story proceeds as before subbing the Abandoned for the military. Sinnova hides them, Moro uses his influence to keep that location from military hands for the 18 years, but at the same time cant welcome Xavier into the city as he destroyed so much on the way out, is seen as the enemy and a rival gang member, and was previously a person who viewed androids as lesser beings. The military finds them eventually, two gang members notorious in their own rights with their gangs. A military mission would be more along the lines of elimination of the target. (Plot twist for confusion of XIII, if possible) The military is the group trying to prevent the takeover of Hinas by gangs so they can't go in guns blazing to a couple that's only been known as peaceful since their arrival so they stage the attack to look like the Abandoned did it and as far as XIII knows the Abandoned killed his family, so they're who hes going to begin with trying to take down. (If I can get an arc going with Abel Moro and he was aware of and wanted to protect his mother but XIII thinks he was the one after them all along and is trying to end him until he finds out the truth, I think that would be a good side arc to the overall direction of the guild) If the Abandoned part of this sounds good, I'll proceed to clarifying the military standpoint on this.

Yang, buddy, you're making me work here ;;>> So to help with your character we realized your character's parent wouldn't have been dealing with Vincent, but instead the previous leader before him. So I wrote up some stuff up on him in hellfires page if that helps at all.

The reason I went for Vincent's character was to give him an in for pursuing the Hellfire Syndicate. His whole first arc is aimed at being completely misguided and thinking the gangs were just bad people. Then trying to hold on to his anger when he realizes different. Want to make sure I have the thinking correct on this Constantine person. He was basically a typical hard a**, tough as nails leader. No merciful side like Vincent. XIII'S parents would have had to run from both gangs vs seek asylum. Is that right?

Haha its all good, I dont mind it all to much because its giving me more of a challenge as well ^^ For the most part he was, however he was still reasonable to a certain extent. Like if you gave him a good reason then he would be merciful and that good reason would have to better/benefit the gang as a whole rather than just one person.

As for an arc, it's possible to get one going though I suggest waiting until the Abandoned has more members to form an arc with the leader....We..Are rather small in number at the moment.... sweatdrop

ShadowxOfxAxHeart Yang Kaido Edits made where do I put it though? Lol If you fixed all the issues, i guess you can edit the old post and put it there. or put it here if you want a finalized opinion before posting in the profiles Do you need the old profile? Cause I can pm you it if you need it. Here's the finalized version first then we can work on inserting (that sounds dirtier than intended): The tale of XIII begins far before XIII himself was ever a thought… The tale of XIII begins in the town of Drowwood. A certain general in the Hellfire Syndicate had just finished up with some business he was tending to on behalf of none other than Constantine himself. He had been making a name for himself all along, his only goal since his elemental manifestation being to reach the top. He wanted to serve as Constantine’s right hand man and eventually take the reins himself whenever it was that Constantine would decide to let them loose. He was Xavier, The Inferno Archer, a trusted member and feared power. However as he was making his way out of the city. There was a commotion A hooded figure running past him down an alleyway, several others chasing it bumped past him already putting him in a bad mood. However he wasn’t normally one to step in. It was none of his business. He lit a cigarette from a beautifully colored magenta flame that he produced from his thumb. “Keep Calm” he told himself. He was supposed to keep a low profile while in this city as he was told. Then he heard that voice, strained and fearful, yet he could tell in another situation it would be nurturing and angelic. He looked down the alley to see that they had caught up to the hooded figure ripping away the tattered cloak that i- that she wore. A woman falling back onto the wall, she was brilliantly beautiful, soft skin, icy blue eyes and ebony hair that fell to her shoulders. The ones talking, androids? They callously spoke to her in monotone voices, called her number III, said she needed to come with them. She proclaimed that it was “E” and she wouldn’t be a part of whatever heinous act they had intended for her. She was emphatic, expressive, tears in her eyes…human?! What could the Abandoned want with a human woman? Either way he wasn’t much of a hero, but she was beautiful, he couldn’t let a couple of bolt heads ruin such a perfect shot at a grand entrance. “Why don’t you let the pretty eyed lady go about her way,” he stated believing himself the knight in shining armor. The two militants looked at one another then turned to him, the typical, none of your business response. It was then the “harmless” woman sprung forward kicking the first robot forward, swinging the same leg and knocking the other aside. She ran forward and took Xavier’s hand running away from the seen. She seemed more agitated than relieved as she half drug him along running down the technologically lit streets of the city. Why did you do that?! I had them, now they’ll be looking for you too!”. Xavier didn’t quite understand but he did get that she was tougher than she looked. To take on two androids like that with a few kicks? That was some major power there, but they didn’t give up so easy and were right on their heels. Time to recover that pride that he dropped back there when she took the lead. Regaining his composure he stopped and turned yanking his hand away and in it a magenta ember forming as he responded, “Well excuse me for trying to be chivalrous!” With that the flame wove through his hands into a bow and arrow, he took hold and fired a single shot that became a roaring wall of flame ending the following. He turned back to see her astonished face and with a slight smirk took her hand this time and began to run to his exit of the city. He couldn’t leave her there…and so it began… It took some time and explaining but they got to know what was happening with each other. III was an android, something that Xavier hadn’t guessed in the slightest. She was produced with a full emotional spectrum by someone close to the one known as Death Enigma. Her goal was to find in what way the emotional spectrum of humans could affect the evolution of the species. She was then to create an artificial intelligence that could augment their own body based on interpreted information from previous machines. It would in essence be the beginning of birthing their own type of new humanoid. However those type of studies dabbled in something that was picked up and misinterpreted. The Military believed that this experiment was truly intended to create a better super weapon and could not allow that. As such, they decided to take the Android for themselves and get her to build such a “weapon” for them. The ‘androids’ that he believed he destroyed were actually military posing as the abandoned to get into the city. It wasn’t a safe place for her. She did not wish to return to the city, she claimed it on grounds of protection. If they had gotten to her once they’d get to her again. Her memory was the only one that contained the data to finish the project she had been working on. Constantine was not pleased, not one bit. He told Xavier to keep a low profile, instead he destroyed several Androids on his way out of the city and not only that, he brought one of them back, and was claiming to be in love with her, she was a machine, and he hated bolt heads, as Xavier called them. III had changed him though. He pleaded with his boss to allow her to stay with him. He would take responsibility and keep her safe and out of trouble in Lohrith. Sinnova couldn’t allow this, the implications of offering safe haven to another gang’s member, especially one as dangerous and mysterious as the Abandoned, they were too wide reaching. Constantine was not without heart though, and he had known Xavier since he came to his doorstep begging to be a part of the gang, begging to be strong. He banished Xavier, told him to get out of the city and never come back. Though III couldn’t understand the cruelty Xavier assure her, what they were just shown was mercy. They stayed on the move as best they could until they came upon the neutral city of Hinas. No gang had claim of the territory so this is where they settled, married, and lived a happy life. Like any couple together however, they wanted a family. Something to be a legacy. An android and human though shouldn’t be possible. They could build a boy, but that would leave Xavier with no part, Xavier suggested he could go out and get someone pregnant then they’d have a baby, this earned him a swift smack with a frying pan. Then III came up with an idea. Her research. It was tough being that she had deleted most of it from her memory, but from the remnants she developed an artificial womb. They extracted DNA from Xavier (as adults do), and combined it with an artificial egg, nano machines would simulate an entire pregnancy giving the child all the nutrients it needed to grow strong. It was longer than a normal pregnancy 18 months, but with that done a baby was born, it was a boy. The searched their brains for a name. Xavier suggested Constantine, the frying pan was out of reach but he still earned a death stare. He was a boy so III suggest the logical and efficient Xavier Jr., but Xavier said that she had no imagination. This boy was an amazing miracle, a combination of both of them…that was it. XIII, they would call him XIII and pronounce it ‘Zee’, a combination of the two of them. As he said this the boy opened his eyes, ice blue pupils. That was to be his name. XIII grew like a human child, his parents were loving and there for him, by all means it was a wonderful life for a child. It wasn’t until a few years that they noticed things odd about him. XIII was exceptionally strong for his age, shockingly smart, and always seemed concerned with his body. He ran fevers often, his father said that was just the little fire in him. Years passed, enough to get comfortable. XIII was taught to keep his strength under control, he went to school like any other kid. His father taught him, as any tough guy dad would, to be a man’s man. No tears, fight through, throwing punches, winning street fights, using weapons, shooting bows and arrows. He kept trying to teach him to make flame constructs thinking maybe XIII had inherited some part of the magenta flame. He never could, but he always enjoyed the light shows his father put on. It was a good life…but good things don’t always last… His 16th birthday. Most teenagers were too cool for their parents at this point, but not their sweet XIII he still loved to study with his mother, train with his father, help where he could. His constant holding back of himself caused him to be shy and reserved, he didn’t have many friends, but that was okay. He had his folks, that was enough. He had invited a few people over for his birthday…no one showed, that was to be expected. He wasn’t sad. Not at all. His father gave him a gift, a bow that he had made himself, well with a little help from his mother of course, she was better with her hands. There was a knock at the door…maybe an actual friend showed up. He father stood, he walked to greet the guest eagerly, his boy had never had friends over before, maybe it was a girl. He never checked the peep hole. He opened the door and a massive explosion erupted. XIII came too outside amidst rubble and embers. He was coughing from the smoke, He saw his father on his knees with a men standing around them two cold callous bodies held his mother by each arm to her knees holding her down. There was a group around his father/ These were the gangs the schools warned of, they were cold and calculated, mechanized looking…the Abandoned? Something about that didn’t feel right. Why would the abandoned be hunting down his family. His father chuckled and spit out blood as he was faced down with them. There was no way out. “Take care of our boy…III”. Without warning his father launched forth is a war cry, a magenta flame engulfing his hand as drove it into the ground. The impact created a column of flames burning from existence all within, his father included.. A scream from his mother, a raging cry. The anger welled up inside of XIII as well. He was furious, he needed it, something to fight with. He searched and searched before finally coming across his gift. He pulled it from the rubble and stood, he had no arrows but he could beat the machines to death for what they’d done. In a blind rage he charged the machines, before he could even swing though They knocked him aside as if he didn’t even matter, breaking the bow. One of the androids holding his mother tugged at the woman commanding that it was time to leave. The other however, acted out saying that the boy must be dealt with, the child was referred to as her son, that could mean that she possibly succeeded in her research. They moved to verify their orders, calculated as could be. They received an update based on the situation, a child was interesting, if she could create one then she could still be useful. Their orders were to take her alive, but eliminate the boy. Without giving time to react the Androids fired on the boy. However before the projectiles could reach him there was something in front of him. A body, a warm smile, ice blue eyes squinted in a smile that fought through the agony…his mother had blocked the projectiles critically damaging herself in the process. As he caught her dying body he fell into shock not knowing how it came to this. His mother reached up her hand caressing his face as she smiled and spoke to him. “My boy…” she said with such woeful happiness that it seemed misplaced in this event. began to feel his emotions raging over him, hot tears streamed down his face and turned to steam at his cheeks. The Androids failing in their directive moved to destroy the boy, they would report in later. As they approached for a better shot turned his ice blue eyes filled with a fiery rage. He wanted them gone, decimated, incinerated, he needed to fire back. His father would use a flame bow, this was it, this was the time to manifest the flame. He reached out focusing…he needed it…he needed a weapon…a bow. The flame never came. Instead from his body silvery metallic particles began to form weaving into the shape of a bow with an eerie chitter noise. It was then he heard it, it wasn’t quite like a voice in his head, no it felt like communication of a memory, like something he his body had always known to do but was just now communicating to his mind. He reached for the heat he had always felt in his body took physical form, an arrow heat exuded from the metallic particles. He aimed carefully between the androids, something in him knew this would work. As he fired the single shot it spread into many. Arrows ran through the machines each melting through their metal frame on impact, until they were nothing. This was it, this was power. His hateful glare turned into weak abandon as his body gave out on him. He couldn’t be made to stand anymore not after everything he had just experienced. He awoke several weeks later in a hospital bed, the sole survivor of a sudden gas explosion in his home. He had flowers, a card from his classmates, generic statements from people who did not know him. He stood up, he didn’t feel weak anymore, he didn’t feel hurt, he felt stronger than ever. He walked right out of that hospital and the boy known as XIII was never heard from again…years later rumors of some figure have begun to circulate, a man who sells information for a price, he doesn’t care who you are or what you’re going to do with it. If you have the means, he’ll give you the details and get you what you need. There’s only one rule…Don’t cross him. His name, the name spoken in hushed whispers by everyday civilians…Skull.

Yang Kaido ShadowxOfxAxHeart Yang Kaido Edits made where do I put it though? Some minor tweeks, mostly wording "A certain general in the Hellfire Syndicate" - Hellfire doesn't use generals. I would suggest looking at there current positions and changing it to one of those. (i didn't catch that the first time sorry) "Sinnova couldn’t allow this, the implications" - Sinnova is Vincent. I would just use Constantine's name as i don't think he has a code name. And they are hard to come up with sometimes. "years later rumors of some figure have begun to circulate, a man who sells information for a price, he doesn’t care who you are or what you’re going to do with it." - I thought you had changed it from information broker? Cause they are reserved for gangs at the moment. I believe you were going to be a thief for hire or something? Abyss here adding something to this, too lazy to make another post for it - > As a quick thing you should know, my character Kasienka (Kas for short) was originally the gov in Hinas, and is very aware of a lot of things that go on there even though he isn't the gov right now (he will be again at some point) and he tends to try and keep things peaceful in the city. So your character "scaring" the civilians in the city would have caught his attention rather quickly, if he hadn't started noticing things before the rumors started even. He would/might do what he can to get in his way or stop him. Just a warning. He may run into some problems with him. I hope you are fine with that? Also so you know he probably would be aware of the parents being murdered thing, though he may not quite associate XIII with that same person from back then yet. Not unless it was revealed to him or something made him suspect it. He is very attentive about the things that go on in that city. Also Military doesn't control Hinas just as a quick little update. Though even still they do want to "protect" Hinas in a way. Kas is determined to keep Military or Gangs from controlling the city, wants to keep it neutral.
