Maybe I'll go read something exciting. I need to get inspired. I know it's silly to hope that an opponent in this tournament might just want a fun, easygoing fight. But I'm silly. If I could make every fight a powerless swordfight meant to look gorgeous and to hell with who wins and loses, I'd be in heaven.

I don't blame anyone for not doing that. I know everyone's come to win. It's just demotivating when you realize it.

If you were to fight Scalar, then you would get all the sword-fighting that you could handle. pirate

But, make no mistake, that man is just as in it to win it as anyone. So, while he would absolutely engage you, blade-on-blade, it would still very much be a contest of skill.

10/10 would totally watch, though.

I guess what I really lust for is the idea of two people who are really geared up about competing, but not so crazy about winning. Does that even make sense?

And swords. I lust to do glorious battle with swords.
