-Livverz- She smiled up at him as she pulled back from the hug, wiping her eyes a little with her fingers, "I'll remember you said that..," her hand trailed from his shoulder, down the length of his arm, and her fingers grasped his for just a fleeting moment before she let her hand fall back to her side.
She watched him fish in his pocket and when he pulled out the kerchief and offered it she laughed lightly, "Thank you," she took it and noticed his initials on it, smiling and tracing her thumb over the embroidery before gently dabbing at her eyes with the corner. She didn't want to soil it completely and ruin it, even if that's what it was meant for, so she sniffled away her runny nose instead of blowing. She couldn't help but get a tiny wiff of the cotton in her hand, noticing how it smelled just like Mishka did; simple and clean. A little smile played on her lips as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder, guiding her to the ice cream stand, "That's sounds just perfect," she dabbed her eyes one last time before offering the kerchief back to him.
Luci was finally up front, enthusiastically ordering her chocolate cone, "I'd like the BIGGEST scoop of chocolate, please!" she bounced on her toes, wiggling the money around in the attendant's face.
"Easy there," he laughed at the girl and grabbed her thrashing hand, taking the amount needed and handing back the rest, "Are you sure you want the biggest? Do you think you can eat it all~?" He teased. "YES!" she shouted at him, but in a confident manner, sure of her self.
"Ms. Parrot, what is report?" Mishka asked to the excited young girl finally receiving the ice cream cone she had so direly wished for. "As captain and first mate," he nudged Liv gently with his hip, "we must know what best ice cream is to order. Chocolate? Strawberry? Pumpkin?" He knew, of course, that pumpkin ice cream didn't exist; he just wanted to see her face at the suggestion. "That ice cream does not look like birdseed flavor at all!"
