The bridge that leads from you to me
But every time you try to cross
You always manage to get lost
Without a second glance you left me stranded
I climbed I slipped I fell but at least I tried
If you turn your back, I'll burn that bridge ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Mirai stared at Texas for a moment, accidentally tapping into his head and seeing what would happen if she did die. She rested her head on his shoulder then "I don't want to... But I know I will be given hell if I say I don't want to... and I don't know what to do about that." she said. She knew one of the big reasons for her not wanting to die was Texas. She couldn't leave him. She promised she would stick with him no matter what. That along with her desire to follow her dreams was the main thing that screamed 'I don't want to die' in her head.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas shook his head. "So what?" He asked. "If your brother is selfish enough to ask you to die for him then- ...then you shouldn't. Besides....he wouldn't ask you to do that. He always tells you he'll protect you." He forced a smile and rested his head on hers. "It'll be okay," he promised. And I just want to show them.

Mirai nodded slightly in reply once Texas finished speaking "Alright..." she said quietly. She closed her eyes for a moment or two before opening them and stepping back from Texas "Let's continue then." she said with a faint smile before taking his hand in hers.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas nodded and smiled as he accepted Mirai's hand. "Yeah," he replied, wanting to take her mind off of it. "Like I said, this place is beautiful." And I just want to show them.

Mirai's smiled grew slightly as she looked around "Though mother's realm is very beautiful... I think the beauty that this world creates is even better." she stated. "If I make a realm ever, I am home growing everything, not making it up in my head."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas gave a laugh. "Well that will take a while then!" He told her. "Especially if you plan to have yours as big as your moms." He looked down at her. "What kind of realm do you think you'll haven?" He asked curiously. It did seem like something one would consider. For now Mirai lived in her mother's realm but Texas had always taken it for granted that one day she would create her own though he had never stopped to wonder what exactly that would look like. And I just want to show them.

Mirai shrugged "Still thinking that part through. It will be great though." She told Texas "Something similar to mother's yet says I mean business at the same time."

Mirai muffled a small laugh "We will see... I need to think it through a bit more... of course I could change it on a whim if I wanted to." she said with a shrug as she looked at some of the flowers nearby.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas thought for a moment. "Oh yeah! Your mom can do that too right? Change it whenever? That would be pretty cool also. Wish I could do things like that. But hey, whatever you turn it into has to involve fire, okay?" He stopped and looked over as a portal suddenly opened and Emma stepped through. "Oh, uh...hey," he said, wondering what she would think of their age change. And I just want to show them.

Mirai nodded "Yes she can change it... she only tends to use that when fighting though. That place can go from something beautiful to a nightmare in an instant... guess that makes sense since she is the Nightmare Witch." she said. When Texas suggested including fire in her realm, Mirai nodded again "Sure sure. I'll make the sky full of flames if you would like." Mirai said with a shrug. "That would actually look pretty cool." Someone not too far away caught her attention, Emma. Oh boy. she thought. She wasn't worried about Emma. Emma was pretty nice from the times they have talked and been near one another. It was more Herald she was worried about and usually where ever Emma was, Herald usually wasn't too far away.
Emma's ears twitched and she looked at Mirai and Texas. "Woah..." she walked over and reached up, beginning to pull at Texas' cheeks "You got big!" she stated in awe by how much older Mirai and Texas were. Mirai muffled a nervous laugh as she watched.

"Yeah, we came out of training in a demon realm where time passes differently." He raised his hands slightly to protect his cheeks. "Grab Mirai's cheeks next time. She's cuter."Several seconds later Herald stepped out of the portal before it closed behind him. He immediately noticed Texas and Mirai, a small frown appearing on his face. Though he didn't make any movements towards them, aggressive or otherwise. Texas stared at Herald, expecting him to go nuts at any moment, and a slightly confused expression appeared on his face when Herald maintained his calm. Will I be bound in chains

Mirai saw Herald then and quickly glanced downward nervously. At a young age, she always expected her and Herald to be close friends since she had a lot of his/Eric's memories. That unfortunately didn't seem like that would happen ever especially since she kept unintentionally pissing him off. ☽ Emma blinked "Oh! Well that is cool. You two smell stronger that is for sure." she said with a smile as she stood up straight and moving her hands behind her back and smiling warmly at the two of them. She glanced back and forth between Mirai and Texas then "Oh!
