"...I know what you do, and I know what you want this innocent child to grow up as....I won't let such a terrible thing happen! " L'Arachel stood in front of Lissa, as she faced the pink-haired Reaper, this Reaper also happened to be the young girls mother. "You may be her birth mother, but you do not deserve her. I simply cannot allow this to happen.." She promised to keep her safe, and even earned the little girls trust. Was she really about to just hand her over to a killer? ..No.Lissa explained everything to her during there time together, and what she came to know was rather terrifying. "You monster...If you do not leave, I promise I will make you!" "What a naughty child you are, my little bunny. Have you been talking about me behind my back? " Krul's lips twisted into a cold smirk, her eyes fixing on L'Arachel now. "Monster, you say? That girl you think you're going to keep from me is a part of me. Do you want to call her a monster too? " She began to walk in slow steps toward her. "I will take what is mine, and I will kill you if you do not get out of my way. " That was her first warning. She Should consider herself lucky, Krul wasn't one to give warnings. And L'Arachel wasn't one to ignore them, when it came to an innocent life she knew she had to protect. " She doesn't want to go with you, and I will not let her." She said, her hand reaching for Ivaldi. Did she really want to hurt Lissa's mother like this? ..Not really, at least...not in front of her.
Kruls eyes narrowed as she watched her grasp something, a magic tome, but worse, she could just about feel the holy light surrounding it. She didn't need to open it, much less read from it to know this was something serious, something with similar power she didn't want to feel again."..I don't think so. You had your chance, and now it's decided. Your time is up, die, just as the other woman. " She clearly had no idea Eirika survived thanks to a certain healer and elf-princess. She wasn't giving anymore chances, or wasting away time with this woman, as L'Arachel would find out when suddenly, she was gone from her vision, only to appear directly behind her, striking her through the middle of the back with those same razor sharp nails as they suddenly extended. And if she somehow survived that, the poison would surly do her in. Kicking her down into the ground, Krul turned to her frozen-in-fear daughter. "Time to come home. " And with those words, she grabbed her hand roughly, before completely disappearing from the area.

"We face the king of demons, the monster that once ruled all Magvel.
He's more powerful than any one of us here. But we have something that beast will never have.
We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity.
That is our weapon. That is our strength.
Is everyone ready? We're going to win."

Ephraim, along with a few others, were on the deck of the Highwind as it soared through air. Being able to see the world from up here... it was rather amazing, in a way. It reminded him of his younger days, going horseback riding with Eirika and finding a hill to look out over Renais... the beautiful sunsets, the tranquil farming villages... he took a deep breath. That Renais was the one he wanted to restore. He had to return to it as soon as possible... he just hoped no one else from his own world would have to go through this ordeal as well. He could handle this, but he wanted his comrades to be able to enjoy the peace that they won.
...But as he turned his gaze downward, he would come to realize that not everyone was so lucky. "L'Ara-?!" His heart began to race, and a horrified feeling ran through him. If not for his militaristic training, he may have panicked, but if there was one thing Ephraim could do well, it was remain calm even in dire circumstances. "Land this thing!" He shouted. "Someone's bleeding out!"

"There are too many forests. We'll have to find somewhere open nearby. Otherwise-?!" Ephraim's foot was already on the ledge. "Wha- Ephraim!" Cloud stepped forward to pull him off the ledge, but it was too late. Upon hearing landing was impossible, Ephraim stepped onto the ledge and leaped from the airship. He had no time to waste, and if he broke his legs to save L'Arachel, he would gladly take that trade. "Y- wha- what?!" Cloud was so flabbergasted by this he could barely form a coherent sentence.
"E... EPHRAIM!" It took Alisa's mind a moment to process what had just happened, but when she did, she sprung into action, sprinting in a mad dash to the ledge Ephraim leaped from, shoving Cloud out of her way in the process. Drawing her bow, she nocked an arrow, barely having time to aim her arrow before letting it loose. Putting more magic into it than usual, she forced the arrow to speed through the air at ludicrous speed, so it would pass Ephraim and strike into the ground below him. Upon reaching the ground, the arrow exploded into an intense updraft wind current, which would catch Ephraim's body inside. It wouldn't be enough to keep him there, obviously--it was to slow the speed of his descent so he could hit the ground without breaking anything. Hopefully... "...This is so stressful!! Stupid reckless king!!!" As if he would hear her. She stabbed an arrow into the side of the Highwind.
"Hey! What are you-?"
Attaching the arrow to another she nocked through a magical string, she shot the new arrow straight down to the ground, and upon reaching the ground, it stabbed in and deeply rooted itself into the ground while the one attached to the Highwind rooted itself into the ship's hull, forcing the airship to come to a complete stop as it basically acted as an anchor. "No time! No time!" She was in a full-blown panic here, it was amazing she thought to employ this at all. Jumping off the ship's deck, she took hold of the magical line between the ship and the "anchor" arrow, using it to basically rappel down into the forest below, after which she'd hurry over to Ephraim and the unknown girl.
Ephraim was on the scene long before the others would have much of a chance to catch up, though, hurriedly walking with a slight limp to the fallen Troubadour. Well, he expected to be crawling with broken legs, so this was a step up from that. "L'Arachel," he said seriously, dropping to his knees and wasting no time ripping off part of his cape to apply it to the wound and stop the bleeding. "Are you conscious? Healers are coming. Hey, stay with me, all right?" Though his eyes and voice was laden with concern and worry, he still kept as calm and composed as he could. He knew she would feel panicked from an open wound, so anything he could do to lessen that worry would do wonders for her. "I'm here. I'm not leaving your side. Just trust me. I'll take care of you. I'll take care of everything." He applied a bit more pressure to the wound--it might be uncomfortable for her, but it was necessary to stop any further blood loss.

Phoenix was only just coming up the stairs that would lead her to the deck of the Highwind, when she heard the frantic voices. At the time she started to hurry her pace, was the same moment Ephraim made his terrible, incredibly dangerous jump off the Highwind. She could never get to him fast enough, but thanks to Alisa's incredible skills, and fast thinking, she was able to prevent him from certain death, or many broken bones! There clearly was no time for questions, and she too, would take a little dive off the airship. Poor Cloud was probably feeling pretty useless right now.
In the midst of her falling, wings in the form of flames suddenly materialized at her back, allowing her to carefully land on her feet next to the others. She lowered down, frowning as she placed her hand just over where Ephraim placed his ripped cape to stop her bleeding, and he would see the golden light energy emit from the palm of her hand, and flow directly into L'Arachel's body, specifically where the wound was. The danger of any further bleeding was over, as the holy energy worked quickly to heal her injuries, though there was still one problem left that she couldn't handle. It wasn't quite so obvious, it didn't have a specific coloration for a human to see it, but for Serentians, it would be just as easy to see the laced poison Krul infected her with. "Alisa? " She glanced back at her, moving away to give her more room. "This isn't just some random attacker...This would be the work of Krul, for sure...She uses this form of poison that is typically hard to detect, so she...um, N-Never mind...Alisa, You can cure this, can't you? " If not, there only hope would be Aerith. And even then she didn't know what Aerith could do as far as healing the affects of a Reaper's poison!

Alisa

As Alisa finally got to the scene, placing her hands on her knees and taking several deep breaths--she was exhausted from everything she just had to do--her day would become even more sour as she noticed the poison in this green-haired woman. "..." As Phoenix suggested she could heal it, she froze, feeling shame creeping up on her. "...." She was so well-versed in magic, and she was the eldest princess of the Forest Kingdom, who specialized in anti-Reaper magic. Of course it was natural to assume she could do it... but...
"Alisa! Can it be done?"
"...O-of course it can! I'm the princess of the Forest Kingdom, it would be ridiculous if I couldn't..." Her mouth was turning dry, walking slowly towards the young woman. "..." Lowering to her knees at last, she placed her hands against the afflicted area. "....." Her hands began to output weak healing energy, and... the poison wasn't leaving.
"Is it working?" Ephraim couldn't see the poison, he could only trust Phoenix and Alisa's word.
"...Y-yes... it... takes a bit..." The longer this lasted, the more her heart sank. Phoenix was standing right there--she could see her dishonesty. Alisa began to subtly tremble. She... felt like she was going to cry. Why couldn't she help her? Why couldn't she do the most basic ******** thing every Forest Serenitian royal was taught in childhood?! If Athena or her mother was here, it would take moments. They could do it so easily.
"...Are you all right?"
"!" Only after hearing his concern did she realize the tears were really welling in her eyes, and coming down her face. God, she was a mess. She was an absolute embarrassment to her status. Imagine if her mother could see her... how ashamed would she be? Alisa had no talent for healing, and so... even simple spells like this, she couldn't perform. She had never felt more ashamed and helpless her entire life.
...But there was something else she could do. She shook her head. "I-it's fine..." The green energy being outputted from her hands suddenly turned purple. She shot a look to Phoenix--one that said not to say anything. The energy began to pull energy instead of push, and she, dealing with the intense discomfort it caused, drained the poison out of L'Arachel. But this wasn't healing--this was transferring. The poison had to go somewhere. And into Alisa it went...
This was only fitting. She had to make up for her inability to help when she should've been the one most suited to the task. She... could... deal with this. "A-all better." She said, trying her best not to make her voice sound strained. "..." She was already starting to sweat, and feel lightheaded.

"Thank you, Alisa, Phoenix. Things would have been much worse without the two of you. I hope I can return the favor, soon." Ephraim was usually good at seeing minor issues like what Alisa was displaying now, and he likely would in time--but right now, understandably so, his focus was almost entirely on L'Arachel. Leaning down, he put his arms beneath her legs and neck, lifting her princess-carry style gently. "Now, we just need to get back up there..."
"I-I can-" Alisa tried to stand up abruptly, which caused her to fall forward, barely catching herself before her face hit the dirt. She had to take several deep breaths, shaking her head. This poison was really potent... it made sense this was Krul's own poison. "'S-sorry." SHe forced herself back up on wobbly feet. "I-I can... just give me a second..." She walked towards the anchor arrow, pulling out a few more arrows from her quiver.
As she got close to the anchor, while she would usually shoot the arrows or throw them down, her strength was failing her. She rather shakily got down to her knees, stabbing four arrows roughly parallel to each other. "J-just... stand in the middle here..."

"What's the matter with you? Do you need-?"
"No! It's a simple spell!" She gasped, forcing herself back to her feet and stepping out of the way. "It's a simple healing spell! Anyone in my family could do it with no problem! I'm fine!" Her voice sounded strained, frustrated, and angry. And it was rather clear that that frustration and anger was entirely targeted at herself. "Just... stand in the middle of the ******** arrows!!" She was really not okay right now.
And though Ephraim could see that, he knew compliance was what she needed right now, not further confrontation. After a pause, he nodded, standing in the middle of the four arrows. After a long moment, the four arrows shot a beam up into the sky from the back, and connected to these four, parallel beams, was a magical platform that spawned beneath Ephraim's feet, lifting him up like an elevator, guided by the beams of light from the arrows.
"Haha... see? My magic is flawless.... I'm... everything is fine..." This was probably the worst Alisa had ever acted or looked, and had the poison not eventually killed her, she would look back on it and cringe that Phoenix had seen the whole thing.

Phoenix wasn't a completely foolish teenager, she had very good senses, and what she watched Alisa do made her expression of worry shift from the now healed woman, to her instead. Worry and a whole lot of anger, but she didn't make that bit so obvious, not yet, anyway. "You guys go on ahead, once you two are safe on the Highwind, Just head back to Midgar. We'll meet up later!" She quickly said to Ephraim as he took L'Arachel into his arms. This day wasn't getting better at all, was it?
Turning to Alisa now, Phoenix shot a angry glare at her!"What the heck do you think you're doing?! I didn't say kill yourself! " She sighed, trying to control her temper right now was really the biggest challenge she would face today. "God, Alisa..You know Krul's poison is far more toxic to us Serenitians..It's bad for humans, but for us it's a whole level more dangerous! Why would you do this?! " Especially when she knew she couldn't heal away the poison herself. Her pride was going to take her life one day, and she really couldn't bare with that thought! "I'm going to get you help. I don't care about your pride, I care about your life! " With Alisa's energy becoming weaker, she wouldn't be able to protest in the matter much, ether. So, with those last words, despite being shorter then Alisa, and even a little younger then her, it didn't seem to cause her much trouble for Phoenix who pretty much grabbed her while she stood, making her fall back so she could hold her in a comfortable position, which happened to be the princess carry style. It may of looked silly, but there weren't exactly a lot of options here if she wanted to hold her in a comfortable position. "I can feel Unisha's presence not far, were going to her now, and were going to get you better! " She lifted up into the sky a bit. "You can't do things like this..Not all of us can do everything, Azura can't heal, she can't even heal herself if she wanted to. I can't heal poison, despite my sister being able to. We all have our own abilities, and there are some we wish we could have that we don't. It's not the end of the world! You helped in so many other ways, like what you did back there with Ephraim! What would be the case had you not acted as quickly as you did? You saved his life. You saved Zack and the girl's life, you've saved more lives then you seem to know, and never give yourself credit for it..Don't you see how incredibly amazing you are, just as yourself?? If you can't do one thing, leave it to someone else who can, but don't put your life in danger because you don't want to look useless, because that's absolutely not true! " Phoenix had a lot to say, for once. It was a rather serious thing here, and she wanted to make sure Alisa didn't try something like this again.

"Y-you look cute when you're mad," Alisa said sheepishly in response to Phoenix, as if trying to get out of the tongue-lashing she knew she was going to get. "I-it's fine... I can handle it..." She gasped a bit as Phoenix grabbed her so suddenly. "U-unhand me...! I can... walk... just fine!" That was an absolute lie. If Phoenix hadn't picked her up, it would be only a few more moments until she collapsed. Alisa's face rather quickly turned red, feeling herself being carried like this... feeling Phoenix's warmth, which needless to say was much easier to feel than most people's, and feeling Phoenix take complete control of the situation... oh, she was getting even more lightheaded, and it wasn't from the poison. "...F-fine, you can have the... honor of carrying me like this...! But only you!" Oh yes, what a high honor it was! Alisa almost shrunk in her arms, her hands moving together nervously. "Y-you're so strong..." She sounded a little too excited despite her protests. "Y-you don't get it..." She said in response as Phoenix continued to scold her. "Your father is so nice... my mother isn't.... she expects perfection from me. I'm the high princess, next in line for the throne... Just being good isn't good enough. I-I used to compete a lot with a noble girl around my age, Carmen... she was determined to show up the high princess in everything. And she did. She... beat me at everything, all the time. The looks my mother gave me when I lost, over and over... I can't forget those looks... I-it wasn't until I started teaching myself Magic Archery, an art mostly abandoned in my kingdom... it was only then I managed a single victory against her. But my mother's expression wasn't proud. It was like I had only barely met her expectations, finally... and... I realized then that nothing less than perfect was good enough for her... if she learned I couldn't cure Reaper poison... I..." She sighed, shaking her head. She was beginning to relax a bit more in Phoenix's arms, not as stiff. "That Carmen is such a b***h. I know the bottom of her boot's imprint by memory. But I have a better body than her... heh..." A fact Carmen was clearly overcompensating for. Completely relaxed now, Alisa raised her arms, wrapping them around Phoenix's shoulders. "You know..." her voice was getting shakier, almost sounding delirious. "I've always wanted to be carried this way... but no guys have ever even tried. Not that I care... guys are stupid, anyway. I'm much happier my first time is with a cute girl." That would sound pretty bad out of context. "Even more so that it'ss youuu... ehehe..." She was starting to sound drunk, which of course was part of the design of the poison. Making the target become more relaxed and less aware of their surroundings, or... what they were saying. "I love being scolded by you, too, you know. Mmh... you always look so mad... and it's so hot..." Phoenix was probably regretting choosing to save her life now. Maybe she should just drop her! "Wanna know the reason I was always closer to Uni? Oh, with Uni, she's pretttyyyy and everythinng... but I love her platonically. She's a dear, dear friend! But you? Oohhh... my deepest, darkest secret, ehehehe! Don't tell Phoenix, okay? Ahaha... I love you... I love everything about you, you know? You don't treat me like I'm... princess... but just Alisa. No one else does that... I mean, sure, Uni tries, but no one is as casual as you. And I... need that... in my life... and you're so strong, and beautiful, and so, so cute... you'll always defend anyone you care about, regardless of the situation or how it might hurt you. And the way you take control of things, like mmeeee riight now, is so hot, too... You keep saying all these nice things about me, but you're so amazing... even your flaws are so cute. But, Phoenix only likes guys, I get it. That's how most girls are. It's hard being the only gay Serenitian royal, you know! Aah... oh well..." Good god, the worst part about this was that Alisa would remember EVERYTHING she did and said once she was healed of the poison. And here she was, spilling secets she intended to take to her grave! She was terrified of ruining her friendship with Phoenix because of exactly all the reason she just said. She loved her. She loved having her as a part of her life, even if they could only be friends. She could accept that, even if she wanted more. Just being around her was enough. But after this? Could their friendship recover? "I wonder what Uni'd say? Ehehe...." Her hold around her tightened, and she leaned up, pulling Phoenix into probably the most uncomfortable moment of her life, as she brought her into a kiss. It wasn't over-the-top--it was mostly an innocent kiss, but it was clear it conveyed far more than just feelings of friendship. "Aaah..." She sighed contentedly after she leaned back, smiling drunkenly. "I've wanted to do that for sooooo long... That was my first kiss! Don't tell Phoenix, okay? Ehe, oh yeah! You are Phoenix! Hehe, whoops~!" She really was a mess right now, wasn't she?

"What?? " Phoenix had to regain her composure for a moment there. Was she trying to get out of getting yelled at with cute talk? As if that would work on her. Phoenix was a little tougher when it came to being tricked by cutesy talk! Though it was strange to hear, coming from Alisa. Maybe even in a way a tiny bit amusing, had she been in a laughing mood! "Yeah, right.." Her face was pretty pale, paler then normal, at least. That was never a good sign. As she pulled her into her arms, and held her in what most would call a rather romantic carry, Phoenix didn't seem to really think of that concept, she just wanted to help her, and, had she took the form of the Phoenix, there was no guarantee Alisa would stay on while she flew her to Unisha, she would probably just escape! That or fall off if she ended up passing out, two options she wasn't going to allow to happen, so what other choice did she have to ensure she was safe, and comfortable but to hold her this way? She was strong, and Alisa was really very light strangely enough. "Oh, goodie.." She said with a tiny smirk. "You wouldn't mind being carried like this by Ephraim, I bet..You were so swooning over him, you know! " As if she couldn't see that! Listening to what she had to say of her mother's terrible expectations of her daughter, Phoenix's expression only grew even more angry, but not at Alisa, no, it would take a LOT of self control to keep from picking a fight with Alisa's mother, had she seen her...there would be some major bird fight to be had! "Okay, Let me give you the best advice anyone will ever give you. Screw what your mother says, who the hell cares what she thinks? If she can only see you as some perfect tool in her image, then she has no right to even call you her daughter. A mother will love her children, for everything that they are, there good, and especially there flaws! Not that you have any of them. You're Princess Alisa, and you are perfect just the way you are. Don't EVER change for her. Don't change for someone who doesn't know how to appreciate how great you are. You are always doing your best at everything, you would help anyone in need, you never criticize or make someone feel bad. You have completely amazing skills with your bow, skills all of the people of the Forest kingdom would envy. Even I envied you today, you know. I thought what you did was completely incredibly cool! " She paused a moment, taking a breath. "You see? You should never feel ashamed for anything, or feel less then anyone else. You're perfect just the way you are. "

She sighed, something else bothered her too, her mother and the people of her kingdom were really starting to sound like complete trash in her mind. Her mother, kicking her son out of the kingdom, and making Alisa feel so unloved, and to top it off, this 'Carmen' girl. She really just wanted to punch that ones lights out an drop her off the tallest building of Midgar, if she found her. "Hmm? " She was starting to get lost in her thoughts along their way to Unisha, so much that she didn't seem to notice how relaxed Alisa became since the first moments of her holding her like this. It wasn't until she felt her arms around her shoulders, that she kind of snapped to attention again. "...Um.." She could almost feel a little bead of sweat trickling down her forehead. "I- I think the poison might be messing with you a little more then I thought.." The more Alisa went on, the more nervous Phoenix became! This was very unexpected! "Ha,ha...I think your definition of cute might be a tad bit off..I mean, i'm more um, mean, and cold...I do cool much better then cute, ahaha.! " Oh boy, A nervous Phoenix was quite the moment. She had so much to say seconds ago, words that she meant every bit of, but this, what was she to say?? She didn't exactly want to hurt her, she was her dearest childhood friend, hurtin her wasn't an option. Yet, she also had no option herself, did she? " I think you may be talking through the poison right now, but...if ..you are serious, um...I'm not very good at this..I'm sorry, It makes me happy to know someone can feel that way towards me, I mean, I didn't think a soul in this world could ever like someone like me. I'm hardly romantic, or sweet, It's true I get into fights more then I can keep up with, i'm hardly your perfect princess image. But that's me, and I enjoy being who I am..Just as you should! Just...you...and me..I don't think I could see myself with another girl..like that.." God she felt horrible now. Alisa was hurting enough, not just physically, but mentally, thanks to the horrible home life she had. Now Phoenix had to deny her something she seemed to really want. Her..? ...It still shocked her, how did she never catch on? "But I want to always, ALWAYS be your best friend. You know that will never ever change, right? I...I wouldn't exactly let you stop being friends with me, anyway. I love you, too. As a friend, someone very dear and special to me. We'll be okay...right? Are you okay? " She hoped she understood, it seemed she was slipping further as the poison remained in her body. Phoenix stopped, feeling her hold tighten, only to suddenly be brought into a very surprising, unexpected kiss by the elf-princess. Phoenix's cheeks were nearly the color of her crimson hair about now, and it took a moment to recover from the shock of her sneaky, but kind of cute kiss. It was hard not to think she was pretty cute in the terrible state she was actually in! "...Ah,haha...um, mine too..it seems.." She said nervously, oh, how Krul was going to pay deaaaarly for this. "You know, when you're all healed up...just remember, nothing would ever change our friendship...okay? Nothing at all." She wanted that to stay in her memory, so when she did recover, she may not feel as terrible as she would had she not said anything.

"Yeah right... Stupid reckless king! He was drooling all over that green-haired girl anyway..." Alisa rubbed her head a bit, letting out a sigh. "She's from his world... L'Arachel, or something... dumb name..." She still had some faint memories of Ephraim's homeland from when she linked their minds briefly, to teach him about the abilities of the Serenitians when he was forming a plan to deal with those monsters. That seemed so long ago, now, despite being very recent. So much had happened already. Maybe Alisa did have a slight crush on him, but much like eeeeeveryone she had ever had a crush on, she knew that feeling would not be reciprocated. But as long as he was happy, it was fine. And he would be so very sad if L'Arachel died from poison. So... she took the poison instead. Who cared if she died, anyway? Athena would probably be a fine queen... and she'd actually get some kind of partner! "...I do think mother does love me, just... it's hard... she expects the future queen to be perfect. She just wants what's best for the people, and what's best isn't an incompetent ruler. She had a difficult childhood, her parents wanted the same from her and pushed her much more than she pushes me, so... it's not all her fault." She couldn't help but defend her mother, even despite everything that had happened. "It's hard for her..." Not that it justified everything she had done, but she just did the best she could with the situations she was given. "Shut uuuup, my stuff isn't that cool. You're way more impressive... and I... appreciate you trying to make me feel better." It was stuff like that that led to.... yeah. "You like to pretend you're mean and cold, but you're the warmest person I know... literally!" A Phoenix joke about temperature, original! But she was being sincere--it was true both literally and metaphorically.
"Your version of cool is so cute itself, though..." She said, more so muttering it in her almost drunklike state. As Phoenix began to react to Alisa's secret, going into the typical schtick of "I love you as a friend," and "I'm not into girls," Alisa brought a finger to her lips. "Ssshhh......." She shook her head. "I knowwww... Just, shhhh." She DID already say she was aware Phoenix wasn't into girls. "It's fiiiiine! I'm used to it!" It was true. Things always ended up like this, regardless of the gender of someone she may have had a crush on. Her biggest crush, obviously, had been Phoenix, but she knew that would never be returned. As a result, she tried to see herself with others, and occasionally did start to fall for people, but it always ended like this. This was a huge reason for her severe self-esteem issues. Everyone liked to call her beautiful, cute, gorgeous, and so on, but no one actually wanted to involve themselves with her romantically. It just made the compliments feel hollow--like they just said it because she was the princess. The high princess at that. She understood that wasn't always the case, and sometimes, people were being genuine, but... needless to say, she couldn't have a high opinion of herself. And after the poison was cured and she remembered this conversation, she would probably be devastated both with her own behavior and Phoenix's answer, even though it's exactly the answer she would have expected. Which is why she never intended to reveal the truth! As Phoenix said that their friendship would never change, Alisa responded. "Psshh, I know it! I wish it would, though. Ahaha!" She giggled a bit at that, reaching up and poking Phoenix on the nose. "But you just keep being you! That's the one I love!" She let out a dreamy sort of sigh, leaning her head against Phoenix's shoulder and closing her eyes, feeling so much more comfortable here than she had in so very long. And that was despite the poison trying desperately to kill her!

"...I still can't believe he jumped off that ship...reckless is one thing but that was completely insane. If Unisha were there to see that, she would probably think it was incredibly romantic...because you know...she's extremely weird like that.." Way to try and bring a little humor to a bad situation. She was never very good with jokes, that was for sure!
Phoenix frowned a little, maybe she was being to cruel about Alisa's mother, but still, she couldn't help herself. Everything she heard just enraged her more. "I don't think that's how she should be. Just because her parents were mean to her, doesn't mean she has to bring on that strict life to her children. If anything, it should make her remember how horrible SHE felt when she had to deal with it, and realize she didn't want to put her kids through that same terrible treatment. " She sighed. "It's like I said, she doesn't realize who you are yet. She doesn't see the amazing daughter she has, if she could just see that, then maybe things could become better between your family.." In the distance, a certain winged unicorn could be seen flying into their direction. She was still a ways off, but it did give her enough time to land back on her feet, and lower to a seated position with Alisa still in her arms. If anyone was to see them like this, it would be quite easy to mistaken them as lovers, though Unisha would most likely not suspect anything at all. Along the way, Phoenix called Unisha to her, explaining the situation Alisa was in, so she would be very well aware she was sickly. "Ahaha...I'm pretty hot too, huh? " She could add to the joke, that was one of her favorites! "Can you at least do me one favor, Alisa? ...When your all better, don't close yourself off from letting your heart find someone, and don't you dare say there isn't anyone. You will find someone who WILL love everything about you, someone who will be perfect. I know it! ..Just let me approve of them first, heh..." She could make SURE they weren't going to hurt her. ...or she would scare them away. That wouldn't be very good, though.

Finally, Unisha touched down to the ground, her massive feathery wings closing up around her body, though she didn't return to human form just yet, Unisha's holy energy was incredibly powerful, and only in this form could she use the most powerful purifying energy by the beautiful prismatic horn atop of her head. This powerful was unmatched of any of the Serenitians, when it came to purifying, healing energy. She could literally purify the entire oceans, or half if not all the world of dark energies and anything that would bring harm that was even man-made. There was a reason she was said to be the best healer in the kingdom of Serenity.
Lowering her head, the horn at her head began to pulsate of beautiful colors, shimmering softly as a gentle, warm energy flowed through Alisa's body. It would only take seconds before she would begin to feel her energy starting to return, the color of her skin returning to normal as the poison began to be purified from her..

"Yeah, how romantic he would look crawling over to her with broken legs. Idiot!" ...It honestly was kinda romantic in a way. Alisa had to admire that he was willing to go to those lengths, but good god, that was probably the most stressful few seconds of her life. She understood his need to get to her and try to stop the blood loss, but give a girl a little warning next time! Well, whatever. He managed to escape with only a sprained ankle. Thanks for saving my legs, Alisa! No one was thankful! ...Okay, he did say thanks, but that was for something else!
"Yeah... she's not perfect. And she's done some things I don't agree with, just... I understand why she is the way she is, even if I don't agree with it." Understanding was the most important thing in a lot of situations, she felt. And she inherited a very understanding heart from her father. The same understanding that led that goofball to marrying the stoic princess, Althesa, so long ago.
As Phoenix referred to herself as hot, Alisa let out a giggle. "The hottest!" At this point, she was so delirious that she could barely follow all the things Phoenix was trying to tell her. She would go mostly unresponsive at this point until Unisha purged the poison from her body.
Inhaling sharply as she was finally cured, she was left with a bit of a headache, but nothing too bad. ...Physically, at least... Sitting up, she started to rub her head. "Ah, I guess Uni can fix anything." She said as she noticed the large unicorn, then... her eyes came to fall on Phoenix. She opened her mouth to thank her, but seeing her face... brought everything back.
".......!!" OH GOD. "...........!!!!" Her face turned deep red. "I-I'm so sorry!!" She turned her face away, covering it in embarrassment and shame. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I never... I wasn't gonna-!" She shook her head quickly. "Nonononono... I was gonna take that to my grave..." She felt so embarrassed and rather pathetic. ... And really, really sad. She knew Phoenix would never return her feelings, but hearing her say those tired words she hated, "I love you as a friend," and everything... she never wanted to admit these feelings specifically to avoid hearing all of that. And now it was burned into her mind forever. "I'm sorry for stealing your first..." She shook her head, tears beginning to well in her eyes. She figured Phoenix could fill in the blanks, and it wouldn't clue in Unisha to what had happened. "Sorry... sorry...!!" She forced herself up to her feet, taking hurried steps away from the two. She drew her bow, nocking three arrows and firing them into the ground between herself and the two sisters, and from those three arrows a giant wall of magic was erected. "I'm so sorry..." She kept apologizing despite how heartbroken she felt. It was... rather sad. Unisha or Phoenix COULD likely fly over the tall wall, but it was more symbolic than anything. She... really... wanted to be alone right now. She hurried off, away from the two to have some time to herself. She... wasn't... getting over this quickly. This embarrassment, shame, and heartbreak. The magic wall would eventually fizzle and lower, vaporizing the three arrows in the processs.
