Is everyone ready? We're going to win." Ephraim took a moment to adjust in the change to his surroundings. When he did, he wasn't any more comfortable than he had been moments prior. He was already rather flustered from Carmen having fun at his expense, and this sudden visit from... admittedly the very attractive goddess wasn't helping his nerves any. And why was she focusing on him? "Is this meant to be some game...? What are you playing at?" He couldn't comprehend what exactly she was trying to do, though Phoenix's explosion seemed to make him believe he might be getting an idea. "...Calm down, Phoenix. She's just trying to get a rise out of you. That explains it..." That was the only reason he could think of for why she'd be pretending to flirt with him of all people out of nowhere! It wasn't exactly unknown that he and Phoenix had a bizarre close friendship--bizarre because both were rather socially awkward otherwise, yet seemed to take to each other well. "So what are you really here for? Here to try to get revenge for my victory over you before?" He had expected she'd try to get him back for that humiliation at some point, when they fought at the Gold Saucer. She was certainly stronger than he was--he only managed to narrowly win due to strategy and possibly some luck. He wasn't confident he could manage another victory over her, so usually he wouldn't pick the fight, but he had a feeling even if he tried to escape it, if she wanted it, she could easily corner him. Besides, since there was nothing on the line, as far as he knew, he wouldn't mind taking a fight he may not win. He admittedly did want to test himself against a goddess of war again--someone so overpowering even he was constantly on the backfoot against her. "If that's all it was, I don't see why you gathered everyone here--just fight me and be done with it." Perhaps she wanted everyone to see her humiliate him if she could manage the victory this time--or perhaps he was simply wrong about what she had come for. But since she had singled him out, he couldn't imagine what else it could be for... (( OOC: ))

   "Hmm.." Cosmos glanced between the trio of those gathered, her focus mainly on the three, Ephraim, Carmen and Phoenix. "It's always a game with me, and you all are my entertainment!" She did so love to mess with them, as they all very well knew by now! "You catch on fast, but that's only part of it. I want a much bigger 'rise' out of each and everyone of you.." She turned now to Carmen who, naturally showed no fear towards her, as she expected! "Oh, I knew you would be fun. You don't turn that cute little tail and run, do you? Always up for a good battle..I expected nothing less of you. " Even Cosmos knew just how powerful she was, she was almost matched, if not completely matched with her own special abilities.
"Heh, oh? Are you a Reaper now? You've 'claimed' him? That method doesn't work for regular Serentiains. It doesn't count, little Carmen. Unless you've become a Reaper, and he bears the mark of a Reaper's little slave, he isn't yours at all. Am I right, hmm? " She grinned, knowing all full well she couldn't claim in as she made it sound! "Do you know what that means? ...I could take him from you anytime I want. A challenge is not required, If I wanted it, I could take everyone! Who ever I desire..Which brings me to my reason of being here. " She finally let her feet touch the ground, now looking at the group she had gathered here. "It wasn't to do battle, at least, not right now..! It was simply to have a little fun..." They would notice her golden eyes begin to glow, and it was that moment that they might realize...they couldn't turn away. "Hehehe...I haven't...had my fun in a while...What I want to see, what I came here for....to see each and everyone of you...fall to your knees! Fall to your knees and praise me..call me what I am to you, your divine goddess, worship me..show me just how much you LOVE me! " To bring them the most humiliation possible, knowing how much this would destroy a lot of them, was far more then a battle! Though, she wasn't ruling that out for good. Maybe later, but for now, she wanted to rub in just how much control she had over them. She wanted to take in every moment of anger it would bring them.
And for the lot of them, they would feel that very impossible desire to do exactly as she asked, unable to fight off the control she had over their minds just at that once mistake of making eye-contact. Naturally, everyone was looking at her, so it was nearly impossible not to catch them all.
But it didn't mean it would work for ALL of them, one in particular still stood there, her blue eyes set right on Cosmos's own, the defiance was incredibly strong. She didn't even struggle, just looked on with a small, confidant smirk. Azura was one she might learn could never be influenced, or controlled. Her mind was incredibly strong against exactly this, it certainly had to be, with many years of practice against a certain man who also failed to get into her mind.

The salty water didn't exactly go that well with her precious furry ears and her tail, which lead to Miya going off earlier to the waterfalls to get a nice rinse off of that sticky uncomfortable mess. With a little natural fruits provided by the forests, she even managed to soften up her fur. Coconuts did wonders for that, and provided a nice scent for a bonus.
Leaving the area with a new set of cute clothing, a ever so adorable white flowy sundress, Miya would rejoin the rest of the group that remained on the beach.."Who wants to take a walk with this super cute girl on this pretty beach? Or maybe the forest? " She brushed a hand through her hair, as if to show off how very cute she was! She may of had a bit to much confidence in herself. Funny, considering no one seemed to really be attracted to her! Back in the Forest Kingdom, she would never say such things, but here..with them..well, she felt a lot more easy going, more able to be open and just be her fun life-enjoying self.

    "Ah HA HA! You can't escape! " Alice's evil laughter filled the air, dropping the Angel down in the sand from the portal she created. "For this quick trip, you owe me the biggest hunk of fresh smoked meat this island has to offer! And I hear it has a LOT to offer! " As if Hana would take part in killing a sweet innocent creature. She might find out it wasn't so easy to hunt on this island, especially with Azura here! She didn't just care for the fish, but the land creatures as well. "...I told you, I didn't want to come back. I owe you nothing! ---And I won't kill an animal! " Getting to her feet after that not so fun drop from the portal, Hana crossed her arms, looking away. "I treated you in Midgar, How can you still be thinking of food after all that....you already JUST ate?! " "Is your life not worth the extra special treatment for the person that saved you?! " "..Um...I didn't need saving, I've handled more then that many times. I could have gotten away without your help! " This might end up going the rest of the night, the tension between them now could be cut with a knife. It really was quite silly, yet despite how much they were arguing, there wasn't any real anger towards the other. It was as if it was a playful argument in a sort of twisted Alice kind of way!
"..Oh..it's him..! " Those crazed violet eyes lit up like a Christmas tree as they fell upon a familiar, rather famous Reaper slayer. A teal haired king, who she noticed seemed to be rather bored looking, restless, even. He was the one! He was the one who would hunt with no weakness. A man like that, back in his own world, had to have experience in finding food where ever he was journeying on his quest to save the world. It was a guess, at any rate. He was still a royal! "You..! " Alice's speed when it came to the thought of food was really impressive, as she was very quickly there, right in front of him! "You look bored here...why don't we...test your skills with that spear of yours? There are lots of animals here you can test it on...How about it?! Say you will. Say it! Say it slave!" Okay, maybe she was getting a little to into her inner crazy self!

Carmen Carmen's toothy, smug smirk didn't abate for a moment as the goddess responded to her--she somehow always had the look of a person who was in complete control of the situation. And oftentimes, she was right to. "He doesn't need a mark to be my slave, heh. It's enough to know anyone else wants him. I have a lot of fun keeping things from people. Especially if it lets me see them beg." That smug, dominant grin of hers only widened. "I'll see you beg, too, hot little goddess." Ironic for her to call anyone "little" given she was possibly the shortest person on the beach. When Cosmos's lovely eyes entranced everyone around her, nearly everyone fell to their knees in worship, perhaps rightly so. But neither Ephraim nor Carmen were in that group--Ephraim grabbed his head, shaking it to keep himself focused. Carmen's eyes cut to him for a moment, almost looking satisfied. For the only person to ever resist her Power Word spell, she'd be insulted if he didn't resist this goddess's eyes just as well! His willpower was unrealistic. Carmen didn't know if hers was that powerful, but she did have magical mental barriers in place for exactly this type of thing. ...And even then, Cosmos's indoctrination was so intoxicating she found herself wobbling for a moment, but she regained her composure before falling under her charm entirely. This goddess was not to be taken lightly... perhaps that went without saying.
"...Or maybe you should?" Carmen's voice rang out in response, layered and echoing in the air. A subtle magical pulse shot out from her throat with her words, and Cosmos may realize the magic she was trying to exert on all of them was suddenly being redirected like a wave straight back at her, this time with the intent to instead put Cosmos on her knees before the wolfgirl. "Who's the real goddess here? Why don't you say it nice and loud for me?" She asked... rather intensely, her eyes narrowing almost dangerously along with her wide, smug grin.Ephraim had barely managed to get a word in this entire time, and Cosmos's attempt to assault his willpower didn't help matters. Still... it wasn't as difficult to resist as Carmen's or Althesa's Power Words. Perhaps because Cosmos put a lot less effort into it than they had. "You-" His gaze suddenly was jerked over to the other girl who rather abruptly began speaking to him, after practically teleporting to him. "What...? You're-- a Reaper, right?" He remembered her and Aeon spending some time with them after Velora's contract was signed by Krul, for as long as that had lasted. "Er, I'm a little preoccupied..." She must have been rather laser focused on food, to completely ignore the entire scene going on, with a goddess no less. "I don't-- what? I'm not your slave! Why does this keep happening today...? No!" She was right to assume he was good at hunting, but he didn't think he was in the right mindset to do that right now. And she didn't help her case by calling him her slave! His face reddened, though. What was going on today? Usually people didn't approach him very much, but today it seemed to be happening far too much. And so many seemed obsessed with claiming him somehow. Was this some sort of bizarre nightmare?
...He didn't notice Carmen glancing towards him, and chuckling under her breath. Ah, this was even more fun than the losing hex she had placed on him last time. This island was just so magically potent, she barely had to do anything--how could she not take such an opportunity every time they came here?(( OOC: ))

Nearly just when she was about to kneel, Cosmos stood tall, suddenly taking a step forward, right in Carmen's face! Her golden eyes glowing brilliantly as she narrowed them into her very soul! "You......." She stepped forward one last time, there was no more space between the two, just Cosmos, right up against the wolf. Funny thing was her own height, she may of only been a few inches taller then Carmen herself, yet she was right there. Her body pressing a little to closely into her own. "Why don't you? " She would feel her chest pressing into her own, as her eyes began to narrow. "Get down on your knees, wolfgirl. " If that wasn't seduction enough, nothing would work!
"Of course, the best one too! " She nodded with a small grin. "Hmm.. Really? I don't see you doing anything.." She really didn't, nothing that was more important then her getting that time she requested! If it was one thing he would have to learn, it was just how much this Reaper loved meat. It was better then human or Serenitian blood, at least! "You are going to be preoccupied.....with me! " His arm would become the target of her own, as she slipped her arms into his, latching onto him like a cute little crab that refused to let go! "Hunt! Now! With you only!!" "....Eh he he....No, no....I think my hero king would like to take a romantic walk with me, the cutest girl here! " Uh oh. The voice of doom. The voice. Of. Miya. His other arm was grabbed quickly, and despite not having some crazy strength of a Reaper, he might find that her hold on him was quite strong! "Right, my handsome king? " She leaned in close, brushing the tip of her nose against his own in a little cutesy form of affection. "Walk with me, you know you want to spend more time with me! "

Carmen"...What! Who cares how small I am! I certainly don't!!! And he's obviously attracted to me anyway!!!" That did sound like the response of someone who was very confident in their stature. "Just because you're pretty hot doesn't mean you can have whatever you want... Personality matters too!" Ironic for her to say that, given everyone in her kingdom hated hers. Still, when comparing her looks to Cosmos, it was obvious she came up a bit... short.
While she couldn't compare in looks, she could at least compare to some extent in power, as just like Carmen had done briefly, Cosmos wobbled. But unfortunately, she didn't drop... and Carmen suddenly felt a bit of concern. She wasn't the type to experience fear, almost ever, but... perhaps there was a first time for everything. "...??" She blinked as her face took on a look of wide-eyed surprise, feeling her face flush as the goddess's perfec- decent... body... was pressed against her. Suddenly, she was having a hard time thinking straight. How had she not thought out the actual logistics of challenging a goddess? Especially such an... attractive one... "...What are you... b-babbling about, I..." She swallowed hard, lowering her gaze to the ground as she felt her heart racing. "You're, heh, you're... you should..." She paused, her brain feeling like it was short-circuiting. "..." She stumbled back, before... slowly lowering herself, getting down on her knees in the sand before the goddess, placing her palms against the ground as she knelt there before her. "J-just so... you'll leave... f-fine... Here's what you want. I-I don't feel like wasting my precious time fighting you anyway!" The Exemplar she had defeated almost managed this before as well, but this perhaps went to show that as powerful as Exemplars were, they still couldn't compare to the overwhelming... "power"... of the Goddess of War."Well..." It seemed Cosmos's attention had mainly shifted to Carmen for the moment, so perhaps she wasn't entirely wrong. Still, though... "Er, what? Whoa!" He let out in mild surprise as the girl latched onto his arm, her surprising strength along with her very short stature managing to make his body bend down a bit in response. "This seems a little strange--I'm not the most enjoyable person to be around... Maybe you should spend time with Alisa instead? She's much more fun than-" And then his other arm was grabbed, causing him to blink. Miya now? What in the world was happening? Why was it every time he came to this island something bizarre happened to him?! He instinctively leaned away from her attempt to nuzzle him, not out of disgust but discomfort. He was already not comfortable with people casually touching him, going even further would be particularly hard to process! "What are you- why do you suddenly want to walk with me? What is going on here?! I thought you would be spending time with Kaden if anything. I'm not fun to be around! Both of you should find someone more enjoyable!" Especially after she watched Kaden defeat him last time they were here, and seemed to really enjoy herself. Seemed like they would be together. If anything Kaden might end up challenging him again if he saw this. Which... probably wouldn't go well for Kaden this time, but who really knew. This island was always bizarre to him.(( OOC: ))

 "Touched a nerve, did I? " Her grin widened. Of course she knew Carmen's biggest weakness, she was very confidant in her powers, but when it came to her height, it was a whole different story. "It's okay, little wolf. You're height only makes it easier to look down on you easier...and do this! " She reached out her hands, reaching for her ears to stroke as if she were a cute little wolf pup. "Aren't they cute...and soft! " Who didn't love Carmens cute fluffy wolfie ears and that big fluffy tail of hers? If she were a little smaller, she might of used her as a cuddle toy to sleep with, as if she were a soft plushie! In the next few moments, as their teasing and displays of power went a little off course, at least, for Carmen, that same grin returned to her lips. "He,hehe..that's better...Good little pet. " She reached right down, this time fully petting her head like a little puppy. "You're face looks better that way, so red and flustered! "
"Quiet! I said you are spending your time with me! You are the only one I want to be around right now---ahh?! What! " Her eyes turned into slits, one could almost see the fire gathering around behind her as the cute wolf-girl attempted to steal him from her. "No! He's mine! My slave! ""You only want him to kill you some kind of animal to eat! He's not yours! He's.......mine! We were meant to be together from the day he found me in Midgar. It was destiny! He's! My! Hero! Mine! " It didn't seem to register to either two girls, his protests or discomfort, it had become a tug-a-war of the king, and neither of the girls wanted to give him up to the other! "...I haven't seen him the whole time we've been here! But you are here, right here...not hiding behind a door, and not hiding somewhere on a island. You're -here-! Now come walk with me!! " "...I was here first, doesn't that mean he gets to come with me instead!? E-p-h-i-e! You want to spend more time with me, right? " Belle suddenly spoke out, as she too.......was now directly in front of him, while the other two still attempted their tug a war game with his poor arms. Belle on the other hand, approached with a much more gentle manor, placing her hands over his chest, before lightly taking hold of the cloth of his shirt to hold him. Her pretty, pleading cute eyes looking right up at him, could he really resist the adorable face that was looking right into his very soul?

CarmenCarmen's ears twitched in response to Cosmos reaching for them, and her hand jerked up to prevent her from petting her. "I'm not anyone's pet--if anything, you'll be MY pet!" Though her bravado would only last so long, as once she was on her knees, there wasn't much she could do to prevent the petting, and the flushed cheeks and stifled breath that followed. Elves weren't the only ones of the Forest Serenitians with their little quirkis..."I'm not your-- will you two stop?!" This scene was becoming absurd! But he couldn't just rip his arms away, partly because he didn't want to accidentally hurt them, partly because their grips were surprisingly firm. He wasn't even sure he COULD overpower the Reaper. This was so bizarre. He had never been some suave man who women flocked to, so why was it that today he was getting so much attention? For as sharp as Ephraim was, he couldn't pinpoint the reason for this, and that wasn't helped by how hard it was to think right now. He blinked as Belle was next... what was going on? Was this some sort of game he was unaware of? Perhaps whoever managed to spend time with him won some kind of prize, that's the only way to explain this! ...Though looking into her cute gaze, he couldn't help but feel his heart quickly melting. His face reddened further, and he blinked again. "Y-yes, I..." He responded in an almost dazed tone."...Ugh!!" Why was she suddenly so annoyed? Carmen grabbed Cosmos by the wrist, using the grip to spike her face down into the sand, before flying like a speeding bullet towards the group there, managing to only tackle Ephraim out of their grip without actually moving any of the three girls. Ephraim was even more dazed now, on his back, with the older wolfgirl behind him, grabbing a fistful of his hair and pulling the back of his head against her chest. "I'm losing my patience here!! I was here first, thank you! Not a disgusting Reaper, not--Miya, you're not old enough for this kind of thing!!--and not you either!" She said, holding the confused and flustered king's head like a prized trophy. "He's already mine! I said it already! If you want him, you'll have to fight for him!!!!!" ...It was like she had forgotten what SHE HERSELF had done, and had ended up subtly entranced by her own hex!(( OOC: ))

Azura sighed heavily, shaking her head at the scene she had been watching for the past few minutes. "Do they really not see how silly they look?" She asked herself quietly, a soft, amused laugh coming from the mermaid princess. Fire was burning in Cosmos's eyes in the background, while Alice seemed to be getting rather angry herself! So angry that...That Carmen,always taking what she wanted!.
Chains erupted from under Carmen, wrapping around her legs, her arms and even up to her neck with just enough tightness to keep her secure, but not endanger her life. All that was certain was, she was forced to release Ephraim as those chains took away her greedy little hands! From there, more chains appeared around Ephraim this time, forming like a bed of chains under him so she could 'pull' him right back over to her! "I SAID...he's...MINE! I won't let you take what is mine!" But even after practically dragging him back to her, Alice's eyes shifted right back to the irritating wolf, glaring at her. As if waiting for her next attempt to pull her slave away!
