[Lustrepaw's growl was cut short as a heavy paw slammed into his stomach, winding him and sending him flying into a nearby rock. It was lucky that his skull was so thick, and he was already almost immune to bumps on heads by now.]

[His ankle exploded in pain, but he didn't care. Taking the advantage of surprise, he latched onto Blade's belly, clamping his jaw around the bird's spine.]
"This is for Saltpaw," he growled, tightening his grip. "Die!"

[Galestar hissed angrily at Talon, his pelt rippling. Before he could react, his mate leapt from the darkness and barreled into Talon. Fear ripped through him.]
"FROSTCLAW!" he screeched.
[He flew at Talon, slamming into the bird's back. He and his mate had talon pinned to the ground head-first. Galestar ripped at the bird's spinal area, hoping to do serious damage to the cursed bird.]

[ Songpaw wanted to tackle the next beast she saw. So she saw Lustrepaw dueling with Tempest. She flung herself over to them. ]

[Spadestripe yowled in raw fear, and snaked her way around cats, bolting for her son.]
"SMOKEPAW!"
[She howled, blood thumping in her eardrums as she finally reached him. Smokepaw clambered out of the bush, eyes wide in fear.]
"Spadestripe! What's going on?!"
[Spadestripe narrowed her eyes, looking around for any other possible danger.]
"I don't know, Smokepaw…"
"They've come back for me, I just know it! I need to finish what Lostkit started!"
[Spadestripe stiffened, her eyes narrowing deeply. She brought herself to his level, pelt puffing out with rage.]
"These eagles probably know nothing of Lostkit, and you will NOT finish what he started. He died because he didn't use his head, so you need to use yours to survive this time! You so much as take one step from this bush and you WILL get hurt! Keep yourself hidden, no matter what! you will NOT move from this bush, you understand?"
[Smokepaw paused.]
"Why are you telling me to stay…I'm an apprentice, I can fight!"
[Spadestripe smacked her son lightly but swiftly over the ear.]
"No, you can't! You don't know how to fight yet, you're barely six moons old! You don't know how to fight, and these eagles are DANGEROUS. You're my only son that's still alive- I want you to stay alive!"
[Spadestripe sharply turned, giving one last "I mean it" glare to her son before stalking quickly towards Blade.]
"Fox-hearted bird!"
[She roared, her pelt puffed out in fury and her claws unsheathing as she stalked forwards.]
"You could kill me a million times over, but never, never will I let you put so much as a feather on my son without ripping them out!"
[Spadestripe picked up speed, keeping slight cautionary as Embergaze attempted to kill the bird.]

[Frostclaw, perched on one of Talon's wings took a heart beat to asses the situation. In her peripheral she could see the familiar red-orange fur of a fox, and behind her she could see scales and the outline of a snake. What were the chances of three different predators finding the gathering at the same time? Slime to none. Movement snapped her out of her assessment. Galestar, tearing at Talon. She followed his lead and bent down to clamp her jaws on Talon's wings. If he couldn't fly, he'd be much easier to deal with.

[Blaze turned to see Eaglesoar race towards him and snap his jaws around his neck. The fox let out a pained howl as he thrashed and shook. The clever fox walked backwards and slammed the tom into a tree in attempts to diorent him and force him to let go. Some of his pack members, Wonder, Jenny, and Trot heard his cries and rushed to his aid. One garbed the cat and ripped him off of Blazes back seizing him by the neck, another fox by the spine and the third by his back leg. Blaze snarled as he whipped around to face the tom.] "YOU!!! ... who are you again?" [The two vixens snarled, remembering him well.] "Eaglesoar. He ripped my coat!" [Blaze gasped.] "What! How DARE you rip a vixen's beautiful coat! Have you no manners! You will-" [His speech was interrupted by Featherheart pouncing on him. He snarled and threw her off.] "Stop tackling me! Go play on the thunderpath or something!"

[Talon smiled darkly as Frostclaw, Galestar's beloved entered the scene.] Perfect timing! [The pair leaped forward and knocked the large bird over as he let out an angry squawk! Their combined weight made it hard for him to get the upper wing and Frostclaw biting on his wing wasn't helping much either. A few flock members came to his aid and ripped Galestar off and pecked at his chest.] "No! Go for the she cat! I want him to see her suffer for his reckless actions!" [Slowly the flock of eagles crept closer to the she cat, ready to pounce.]
[Blade shrieked angrily back at the tom.] "NO! You die!" [With his sharp beak he attempted to stab Embergaze in the face but missed slightly, cutting into his cheek. His rage was to the boiling point, but it overflowed when he noticed a certain spotted she cat slowly approached him.] "You! This is YOUR fault! You speak of what you will do if i hurt your son when guess what i will do now that you have killed my freind! I grew up with Splint! He was like a brother to me, and now he is gone! I... i never knew what i had until it was gone. An obnoxious, overconfident ball of ego, and now its gone forever! YOU WILL PAY!!!" [Blade flapped his enormous wing and dove for Spadestripe, pinning her in the snow.

"You foxhearted fiend, this is what you do to US when you kill OUR clanmates!" he screeched, barreling into Blade awkwardly because of his twisted foot.
[He pushed Blade off Spadestripe, eyes narrowed, and lunged, seeing his chance. His fangs sunk into Blade's throat, now loosened from his previous attack, and he ripped the bird's throat open. Fresh blood gushed forth into Embergaze's mouth and he spat, jumping off the bird as his blood rushed out of him.

He snarled and swiped, feeling claw contact fur. Songpaw was sent flying backwards, a bleeding scar across her face that passed her eye just barely, and a gash across her chest that dripped with blood. The kitten sat, dazed, on the ground, but Tempest turned, uninterested in her. He spotted Lustrepaw flying towards him and he snapped his jaws shut, feeling the satisfying rip of fur. He shook his head violently, lacerating Lustrepaw's shoulders and ripping his chest fur, but his eyes stung at the apprentice's attack. Now without sight, Tempest was furious, but something ripped at his ear and he howled, releasing Lustrepaw. Thunderflight was on his back, ripping at his face, and he snarled angrily, throwing her off with a whip of his head. He turned and batted at Skywisker, smacking her backwards.
Bermuda heard Tempest struggling but could do nothing; Silverstar was her target. She snarled at the she-cat, swiping angrily and dodging quickly. They were a blur of tooth and claw.] Chaos near and farhowever old or young you areas long as a cat you live Clan true we come to slaughter you

[Frostclaw wouldn't let go even as her mate was thrown off of Talon. It ripped her heart to shreds but this wan an advantage. She gave one more bite before backing away from the encroaching birds. Her fur stood higher and she arched her back, letting out a low and fierce hiss.]
"Stay away from me" She warned.
[Frostclaw looked from bird to bird then to Galestar. She flicked her eyes toward Talon, hoping her mate would know she wanted him to finish the job. With out a leader the flock of birds may become disorganized and unable to continue their attack.]
