I thought exactly the same as you once but i've obviously been converted xD
But hey, if you have tried some and still don't like it that's fine by me too =)
I don't like TyKa really. It's odd. I can't see the two of them together. I try to read it, really i do. I reckon i'd probably draw it if someone asked nicely but i can't write it. xD
So why do you like TyKa? :3 Have any fav fics? Do you write? 8D
What's your opinion on crack pairings? xD
sorry, i'm a bit of a sticky beak. I don't mean any harm by it. =) bout time we had more conversations in here.

It's true. JoRe is the way of the future 8D Because they are total crack.
XD In fact, crack pairings seems to be our specialty here.
On the TyKa issue I'm undecided. I don't mind it but I can't really see it happening. They have a good friendship/rivallry thing happening but I think that ultimately they're too competitive with each other to form a functional relationship. They'd keep striving to beat each other until either one of them burnt out or they ended up completely alienating each other.
BUT, that's just my opinion. What do you think?
(*echos Lainy* We're really not that scary it's just that it's exciting having someone new to talk to and we actually -are- interested)
Rei is a great manwhore XDDDD Love him to bits.

well I don't know i just think Johnny & Ray look way werid together..... so I don't bother to read it stare ... I like TyKa because they are just awesome.They look awesomely cute 4laugh I do believe that opposites attract & I like their rivalry & Kai does care about Tyson (sometimes) like in G rev 3nodding so and alot other reasons that if I start telling i will never stop.... sweatdrop
Fanfics... i like alot of them smile
currently I'm writting one it's Tyka so when I publish it on fanfic you guys can read...k biggrin

Ah crack pairings. They're normaly pairing that really have no reason to work. xD The characters don't interact that much and their really is no basis for a relationship.
Pretty much, us authors just slapping together two characters because we can. JoRe is a very good example of a crack pairing.
Lol, please, you can list all the reasons you like TyKa if you want xD We really don't mind. It helps us understand better anyways.

I'm currently in the process of writing a JoRe, so you might not like that, but i do have a BryKa heart on the drawing board. What do you think of BryKa? xD
You'll have to excuse Panda and I. ^^; She loves the JoRe while my favourite is BryKa. We tend to babble on about them a lot.
But KaRe is still nice.
Another question i just thought of! I saw you put RaKa, a fan of Rei being on top eh? *wiggles eyebrows* that could be interesting... *plots ficlets*
Actually, i'm in a pretty good mood for writing fanfics. My OCs really aren't getting much attention from my imagination. xD (so i wouldn't even be able to think of something for that RP even if you had posted, Panda ^^; )

KennyHilary. Start of Grev. It's there 3nodding It's sweet.
And yes, please go into your reasons for TyKa. Like I said we're actually genuinely interested.
I can see what you mean about there being genuine caring between the two of them (Especially in Grev. But that's mainly because Grev is about them all growing up and becoming more mature. Especially in the cases of Tyson and Max) I just can't see that friendship being any more than that *shrugs*
That said I would LOVE to read your fanfic. I get a little sad whenever I go on to the bey home page and see all the canonOC pairings so anything is a lovely change.
Any fanfics you recommend?
Johnny and Rei are total crack but they are my true love. I really do suggest that you read a few simply because of their total rock.
*watches Lainy's wiggling eyebrows* wait up... dominant!Rei = submissive!Kai. HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please oh God please you NEED to write it. *holds up potential BryKa as bait*

And seriously, its pretty quiet up here *taps head* when i think of the RP. And yet thinking about the Bryka and Dom!Rei seems to be working just fine. Take as long as you want, i'll be working on some fanfic xD

BryanKai its an ok pairing, it looks like to me that its a crack pairing.. i'll like to see your drawing of BryanKai biggrin
oh yeah I don't like OC sweatdrop ...... & your right everytime you go to the bey home page all you see is canonOC I mean where are the good canonCanon pairings stressed .....
There are TyKa communities on fanfic you can go there & read some.
I recommand you to read
a Tala Kai friendship fic written by StellarAura.It's nice & new smile

Oh, BryKa piccage never even occured to me. xD
Yer, i love OCxOC but canonOC is bleh. I love my OCs to death though xD but they weren't made for the beyblade fandom so i don't usually write about them when i'm writing fanfiction. They weasle their way in to be plot devices occasionally.
I think the whole canonOC thing isn't so great because the OCs are never well developed. They really are just inserts. And the author really is just fantasising (speaking of inserts, have you seen what Rob Pattinson thinks about twilight, panda? he's a genius)
I have the same username on ff.net. i don't recommend you read much though xD they're pretty damn old apart from the first Kai one. My writing has improved greatly.
We may not be fans completely but we won't shun it completely :3 we'd always be willing to read over it and catch typos and whatnot for you.

XD But most TyKa communities are dominated by TechnoRanma who, though I love her artwork, doesn't have a writing style that appeals to me.
XD I have the same opinion as Lainy in that I do like OCs. They generally add a lot to the story (Prime example: Untold Truths by Ladya C. Maxine) but as soon as they get paired with canon I lose interest. I'm sure there are some well-thought out OCs who are paired with the bey guys but I haven't come across them.
My username on ff.net's the same as well XD I lost all imagination for usernames once I found this one.
It's not so much that I don't like TyKa- more that my head throws up more reasons that it doesn't make sense than that it does. That being said, my favourite pairing is JoRe so pairings don't necessarily need to make sense.
Mmm I just had some delicious ReiBalcov thoughts. I really need to write another one of those.

Hey I read alot I guess you don't know its fanfic its about leting your imagination flow & you can write it any way you want mad I thought that it was pretty good k. & I know that there pretty old but its "FAN FIC" the fans are suppose to write what they want! stressed mad got that!
Well I just hate OCs I don't like them one bit... unless they just stay out of the whole thing! I don't like them to be in my stories or others unless its neccessary.

Where is this hostility coming from?
I'm not sure i follow what happened, but from what i gather, i don't remember ever saying that you can't write what you want. And i was talking about my writings being old and not to read them because i was embarrassed by them since they were old. :/
how don't we know that its fanfic? what have we said to give you this view?
I find OCs are neccessary some times. They are just characters after all. A good author will know how to create a well developed character and insert it in to a story to make the plot flow and be believable. An OC doesn't have to ruin a story, they are there to enhance it.
We're not criticising you, just giving our opinion in order to have a conversation.
Panda and I have been writing fanfic for ages, its only reasonable that we would want to start creating our own characters and start to develop skills that would enable us to write completely original fiction.
Trust me, we know about fanfiction. We're old souls if you like. Trust me, i feel old and i'm 19 this year.

O.o Um... alright then?
I have no problems with people writing what they want it's just that some writing styles don't appeal to me as much as others do. That's a matter of taste and has nothing to do with the author(s).
Trust me when I say that Lainy and I -know- fanfic. I'd even go as far as to say that we're fanfic oldbies. There's not much we haven't seen and read when it comes to that stuff.
Which is probably why we're so opinionated on the matter, really, we've had time to look and see basically everything there is to see and so we have things to compare and to decide what we like and what we don't.
^^ It's fair enough that you don't like OCs. As Lainy said we both have an affinity for them because we're starting to go beyond fanfic. I still firmly believe, however, that if a fic begins to focus on teh OCs rather than teh canon too much it's not fanfic anymore and shouldn't be classified as such.

I'm fine with yaoi (and yuri), but I couldn't write fics that deal with 'em; I'm all reader in that area.
BryKa... hoo.... how would that go, I wonder. I've a feeling one or both of 'em will be possessive to the point of threatening those who so much as think of getting with 'his' guy ("Not The Only One" by M.K. is still stuck in my head. Possessive Bryan is HOT.)
