Mara's eyes narrow a bit. "You were talking of making a sindial... what kind of judging do you do, Kero?"

Soul reports, every one of them. I have a much more important job than the souls. I am the one who maintains the Homeostasis of the worlds. I keep them from experiencing too radical of shifts in too short of time, and put down those who would shift them too much.

I can gather one if need be, but I tend to most major disturbances personally. You girls have only ever seen my playful magic, or my household spells. You haven't seen, and I hope you never have to see, me do battle.

Ai sighs. "It is a frightful thing to be sure, but not something we need to go into..." his gentle chide quickly reminds Kero he is dealing with children, walking about in half matured bodies, not true teenagers.

Mara glares at Ai for interfering, but Ari merely laughs, though it is tinged with a bit of discomfort. "I bet you do... Mama, do you have any of those headache powders, my head hurts."

Not exactly, but the weather is playing havoc with her head. Ai senses this and sends her to bed. "I'll bring you something for the pain in a bit, kiddo, something to help you sleep and ease the pressure."
