“I don’t care for interruptions myself.” Feline muttered under her breath, and then smiled slightly thinking,
What goes around comes around!Feline had gotten used to his abrupt and harsh mannerisms so she let the tone of his voice slide off of her.
“You know if you keep biting people’s heads off like that I don’t think you’ll ever make many friends. “ She said matter-of-factly,
“To answer your question as to why I am still here, you invited me in I’ll have you remember.”Feline got up and scanned his private book collection for a few seconds before walking up to Panda’s side, taking a closer look at the bottle that was now glowing blue under his thoughtful gaze.
Curiosity overwhelmed her as she watched the magical energies flow into the water transmuting it.
“I have never seen potions made in such a way. Back home we had spellcasters and potionmakers, but there was no person skilled enough to combine the two in such a way.” She felt her hand reaching out involuntarily to grasp the bottle and take a closer look at it. She caught herself before she actually completed the foolish motion and quickly snatched her hand back to herself, brushing Panda’s arm in the process.
A little flustered at her loss of self control she quickly turned away and walked over to the book case again. Lightly running her fingers over the spines, she pulled herself back together.
What is it with this land! I seem to have forgotten every lesson I was ever taught in self control and dignity. Something about this place seems to make my emotions more magnified. The council would frown upon my current state indeed. With that thought Feline’s wings twitched, remembering all the rudeness she had put up with to that point.
“Oh yes, and by-the-way, my name is not woman. I’d appreciate if you’d stop calling me that.” She said somewhat tersely.
