Its more that the representives are not elected, rather they are appointed.
As the Senate dictated that Kashyyyk was the main hub, they get to appoint the representatives to the senate. And being wookiees, they naturally appointed wookiees.
At least, that's how I gathered the political situation.

whatever works.
Frankly the political system of the Galaxy means very little to an outlaw. No matter who's in charge, they will continue to impose idiotic law upon law upon you until you become another mindless and happy taxable drone under their thumbs.

Nelowulf True. But if there were no laws, then you'd be out of a job. Its a necessary evil. In order for there to be Law, there must be Chaos, and Vise Versa. all I can do is balance out Chaos so that Law doesnt tip the scales.

In order for there to be Law, there must be Chaos, and Vise Versa. all I can do is balance out Chaos so that Law doesnt tip the scales. There's a problem. Too much Law will create chaos anyway. Hence, it is not a necessary evil. Law is a neccessary evil, because without itself, it cannot perpetuate itself.

He'll be out like a light, giving you ample time to use an electric razor to shave him bald. becareful though, for while they may seem deaf when they're asleep, in twelve standard hours they'll awaken an then get pissed. like clock work.
