"Snakes, man-eating plants, the usual. And some bad memories, yeah." She replied, shrugging it off. She had learned to live with them. She jerked slightly as a snore reached her ears. It was still pretty far away, but she wasn't going to take any chances.
We should try to be quieter now.

*As you say.* Giving herself over to silence, she slowly tried to open her senses up to what was around. Hopefully this would be of some use.

Nika's movements were stiff and cautious . He was quiet as Shi and Io talked.
The sound of everything seemed to be multiplied atleast four times. The inability to see properly msfr his other senses a bit stronger...
A twig snapped under his feet and he jumped.
... Or he was just paranoid and his mind was making everything seem louder than it really was.
He took a deep breather and hurried on, listening to the snoring.
'I hear it too. Holy, they're louder than Gee and that's saying something,' he whispered.

There's more of them than there is of Gee. Io replied, smirking slightly. Step quietly if possible. Test your steps before stepping down. We'll get as close as we can before we start.
She headed further in, till she was overlooking the sleeping bodies covering the ground. These weren't all of the Rade, of course, but they WERE the fighters. And those were the ones she wanted to take out.

emulating carefully, she tried not to just see where she stepped, but to sense it. She had known before when bad things happened, or were about to...maybe it would work as a sort of early warning system for stepping down too.
Or not. Jeeze things were complicated.

Nika's mind was in over-drive as he tried to concentrate on where he was stepping and the sleeping rade that lay infront of them.
He held his breath as he tip-toed behind Shi and Io, avoiding twigs and leaves the best he could. They were everywhere, though, and it was difficult.
'Can they hear us? I mean, are they telepathic?'

No. But Silva is. Just be grateful he's not here. Io replied, smirking slightly as she looked over the various rade sleeping in the clearning. Baron's not here.... he's probably in his caves. But...
She pointed to the largest of the Rade, noting that his fur gleamed in the moonlight. He was healthy and strong. Perfect for what she was thinking. He'll be my target.

Zahar wandered downstairs and opened the front door to the warm outside air. She straightened out the front of her dress and went to the stove to grab the tea kettle. Adding a little more water she set it to boil and looked around for Kataio's tea bags. Zahar sighed lightly as she pulled out the yellow and black tea set she had recieved and waited for the kettle to whistle.
((I can't remember who is in town. if you are and want to notice the door being opened and the kettle whistling then stop by for some tea with Zahar))

Zahar's tea had finished steeping and she placed it and a full set of cups on a tray. She didn't think anyone would be around but you never could tell with these settlers. Carefully lifting the tray she set out for the table outside. It took her only a couple steps to notice a younger mask walking through the quiet settlement.
'Oh.' Zahar said quietly. 'Hello, My name is Zahar I do not believe that I met you before.' She had paused holding the tea tray with both hands and smiled with her eyes. They were a bit of a ways apart, but the telepathic speach carried. 'Would you like to join me for some tea?' Her steps were slow as she headed to the table set up outside. The little samuri could decide for himself if he wanted to follow or not, the tray was a bit heavy and she wanted to place it down.

Kenshi jolted slightly at the sound of Zahar's voice inside his head and he turned towards her, his shoulders subconsciously tense. He loosened his grip on the glaive, which had become almost painfully tight, and bowed his head a little in greeting.
Hello, Zahar, I am Kenshi. Though he disliked the thought of sitting with someone and actually conversing, tea may be just the thing to take the edge off his current state. And she seemed nice enough, overlooking the fact that she was much taller than he was. The corners of his lips tugged downwards in a slight frown as he slowly headed towards the table. He was so small compared to Rhia, and most others it seemed, would he ever feel not short?
He came to a halt a few paces from the table and stood there a moment, wondering if perhaps he should just keep walking, or head back to his Chosen. The former idea caused his shoulders to slump a little and he sighed quietly, stepping up to the table and carefully leaning his glaive against it. May I ask what kind of tea you have prepared?

'It is a regular blend of Orange Peko. Nothing fruity or really flavoured. I did bring out hunny, sugar, and milk if you take it.' Zahar seemed to be a bit distant in her mannerisims. She looked up to notice that Kenshi was tense. 'You may take a mug if you would like and sit else where if you would like. I know I am not the best company for anyone to have at the moment. No one seems to like to be around me, natural instict I think.' Her voice stayed light as she poured her mug, not once did it sound like she was trying to hurt him with words. Zahar sat down slowly and started mixing in the milk and sugar to her own tea.

Kenshi nodded absently as Zahar talked of the tea. He was actually about to take her up on her suggestion of taking his tea elsewhere (it didn't really seem like she wanted company, or perhaps that was just his excuse to get away from the people he came in contact with) when she commented nonchalantly about no one wanting to be around her. He paused a moment, looking at her with his bright eyes before sliding onto a seat across from her at the table. He carefully poured tea into a mug for himself and added a touch of honey, but he didn't take a sip right away. Instead he continued to study her as he slowly stirred the honey into his tea.
Forgive me if I am out of line, but why do you say no one likes to have you around? He folded his hands and placed them in his lap; his black wings relaxing slightly. I do not know you, and yet you seem to think that I should not like you. Why is that?

Fauve stirred and slapped Kasai's hand away, if there was something that Fauve hated more then anything else... it was waking up in the morning.. she rolled over and attempted to grab something to hug it. She blinked her eyes open slowly when she didn't find anything but grass and dirt. Holding a clump in her hand she sat up slowly, a little bit horrified that she was asleep on the ground. It wasn't till she realized the Kasai was right there that she remembered what happened. She dropped the grass and stretched a bit 'I am so stiff.... how long have we been asleep?'
Merci grumbled a bit and flicked her ear, cracking an eye she watched Cinder for a second before opening both of them widely. She sat up and looked around. Rum... and glasses... that explained alot.. with a voice still muffled by sleepiness she muttered "Alcohol is a horrible idea..."
